I want to see the distraught look on their faces. I would pay to see that.

Okay so I just had one of the coolest nights. A new friend (maybe we're friends now?) that I've made through some friends I already have, he's really big into spiritual things. The other night the group of us were trading scary/weird stories and talking about spiritual and paranormal stuff, and he told us that he has a Pendulum (i hope that's spelled right), and I've never heard of that before so he explained how it worked. Well today he invited me and one of our other friends to his room and he showed us the Pendulum and so we decided to try it out. He let me hold it first and it was really awesome how when I told it to stop moving in my mind, it did. I asked a few lame questions and it would spin one way for yes and the other way for no.
After I was done he took over it, and we talked to a few different spirits. It never felt creepy. One was a man who died in the 1950's in what we think is the hospital near our school. He said it was a painless, natural death, and that his girlfriend had been with him when he died, and once she died they were brought back together in the spiritual world. He also said his cat was there with him lol. It was just really cool how we found out so much from just asking yes and no questions.
I know a lot of people don't believe in this stuff, and I'm still a skeptic, but it was a really cool thing to experience. The friend also saged himself, us, and the pendulum before we started to be on the safe side. It was fun, maybe next time I'll have better questions to ask!

"So expensive…" As i whispered to myself looking at the 5 dollar price tag.
#W2G EMMA STONE#very nice save andrew garfield#this entire exchange was fabulous#like sometimes even if you don’t mean something to sound sexist#it really does if you don’t expand on it#like it sounds like he’s saying it’s feminine because it’s traditionally the shit that women had to do#but then emma calls him out on that#and really makes him rethink that comment#and it all turns out wonderful in the end#and emma nods in approval#EMMA STONE#FORCING PEOPLE TO RE-EVALUATE THEIR LIVES SINCE THE BEGINNING ON TIME

“Heathers was a revolutionary experience because it didn’t follow the narrow confines the ratings system had imposed on teen narratives in the name of morality. It was real and raw, even in its candy-colored satiric absurdity. Heathers was a scathing response to the “very special” issue episodes of the ’80s. All of the same teen laments were present — eating disorders, date rape, bullying, gossip, suicide, drinking, cliques — but without the melodrama that demanded that teenage darkness be matched with an obvious moral message”
