Perhaps, the flickering light in the bedroom wasn't so bad after all. "Mhm, it did. Just a bit," she tried to not sound alarming because, after all, this could probably be figured out by an electrician. Tomorrow. Now, it was kind of late. "Nope, I wouldn't dare call someone else. I got my electrician right here. I'll get some candles in the meantime, do you want me to grab some dinner for us? Maybe something to hopefully celebrate the electricity being back soon? Are you sure your mom won't mind us messing around with her house?"

I saw some of these posts going around, thought I'd give it a shot..and then didn't post it

but anyways, plots I've been thinking about ✨

Speak Now - Taylor Swift ...muse a about to get married, muse b silently begging them to not get married. Perhaps they've pleaded with them before, or they just came back into town to find out muse a is getting married. Does muse b make it to the ceremony in time? If they do, do they tell muse a before the ceremony or speak up at the last chance?

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue: muse a made a deal that allows them to be immortal, however the deal includes a bonus part - they are cursed to be forgotten by everyone they meet. Until they walk into a ___ (bookstore/cafe/museum/etc.) and muse b remembers their name. Endless possibilities/time periods here !!

Malibu Rising - family plot (tight knit siblings/family members) learning more about their family's past or discovering there's another sibling. June and Mick's relationship explored - marrying when young and before muse b makes it big, big promises for the future, but constantly being away touring. Missing big family moments, but many chances being given. June taking in one of his kids after the other woman drops child off at her door and never returns. What's the breaking point there? Additionally, exploring Nina's connection to her husband (her husband leaving her for another, but returning and wanting her back. A cycle her mom endured. Taking him back or standing up for herself and put an end to everything). Exploring the sibling dynamics of the Riva kids - Nina as the oldest, stepping up after the death of their mother. Jay and Hud's sibling relationship - being joined at the hip, one of them has a secret he's afraid will destroy all of that. Many aspects of the story that can be explored here !

Daisy Jones & the Six - any and all band plots !! (both muses in the band - butting heads or quickly falling into place // dating a band member - both in the band or muse b isn't in the spotlight) Possibilities are endless

Enemies to lovers - academic/work rivals. Could be a misunderstanding that led to this rivalry or genuine dislike for the other person.

End of the world - inspired by All of Us Are Dead (Netflix show) and The Last of Us...zombie breakout. What's there to fight for? How hard do you try to survive? Could be established connections or strangers meeting under dire circumstances. Found family possibility?

Messy exes - relationship falling apart, be it circumstances out of their control or losing interest. The arguments, the back and forth between leaving what's comfortable and jumping back into the unknown. If living together, making tough choices re: moving out, splitting their belongings, etc.

Domestic life -moving in together, learning how they work together when sharing the space, does it make them stronger or does it bring issues/frustrating moments?

Wedding plots - the proposal, wedding planning, the big day (the stress of planning, are they on the same page? Do they clash often? Big event or eloping?

Fake dating/engagement !! - pretty self-explanatory but possibilities are endless here !

Reconnecting later in life - best friends, old exes from high school/college who lost touch and purposefully reconnect or find each other by chance

Teachers/School plots - co-workers finding support in each other. Maybe their classrooms are next to each other, they're both new to the school and learning their way around, or new teacher and someone who's been there a while..teaching them tips and tricks of the place...just co-worker shenanigans !!

Sports !! Mostly for my one muse, but the possibilities here....he moved away when he was signed to his team, and hasn't returned to his hometown since. Life has gotten too busy or he just hasn't felt ready to go back. He had to return home and has to confront being back. His feelings, discomfort, and any unresolved things he left behind. OR navigating long distance, the ugly part of missing moments and being away from there. The longing, the facetime calls, messages sent throughout the day. The surge of pride he gets when she's standing there..at his game.

They had been trying to ignore it for some time, or maybe it was just her. She definitely had been trying to look the other way. They had been warned about it too, but she thought they were stronger than that. Wouldn't fall for it, and yet..

She had heard him walking into the kitchen, accustomed to his specific sound on the ground. So, she didn't think to turn around when she asked, still occupied with the last few dishes. "Mhm," she hummed in thought, he was right. It was part of their new start - honesty with each other at all times. "I think Tavo's outgrown the onesies," marked for three months, but babies always grew up so far. A fact she knew logically, though she currently had the biggest case of baby blindness. But, she heard his tone and worry threatened to settle in her chest. "Oh my goodness yes, I'm okay. I'm sorry," drying her hands with a nearby dish towel, she turned around to see him. "Did I accidentally cause all warning signs to go off? It was definitely just tavo related, nothing frightening happening here, other than him growing up too fast."

I think she is the human embodiment of red bull when people tell her how good her son is. It gives her wings."

"How we met though is where I'm excited to tell our future kids about. If they get your distrust gene I'll laugh." He could now joke about it as it was plain silly how they happened to meet at the weirdest hole in the wall place. It served as a reminder love was in odd places. "Dibs on telling them about the clever nickname you came up for me." He gave her head a kiss and nodded. "Peace. I was thinking four at most five. I wonder if we can get five without cheating and having doubles." He was curious about the twins gene that seemed to run rampant in her family. "If we end up having twins then I know your mom is a magical being who made a pact to have all her children have more than one at a time. She's a wizard. You have the hazel eyes that are I think the prettiest. They sparkle in the light. You want big bright blue eyes staring right back at you."

"Your face. It is glowing. I mean yeah that three way break too was weird but your glow, there is something about it." As he leaned in and had the confirmation to his suspicions, he couldn't help but smile. "Oh my god, finally for them? We are racking up nieces and nephews like no one's business. "And that's what we have," she confirmed. "Pure movie magic." Sam knew that what they had was special, she could feel it in her bones. It was a feeling she'd fight to keep, something immeasurable. "We keep a contingency plan for everything," no one could say they were unprepared. "Hm, that I could tell. She just completely lights up when you're complimented. I don't blame her, I'll be sure to tell her when we see her."

"A story for the ages," she said with a small smile, trying to keep the mortified feeling away. "Oh my god, don't even remind me. My creativity was at an all time high then, must've been the distrust gene at work. Honestly, they have a good shot of getting it. It kind of comes with the the whole Bordeaux vibe." The comment about cheating made her laugh loudly, having to reel herself in when she remembered where they were. "I never thought twins were considered cheating. I hope you know that I'm going to be quoting that from now on. Mom's one hundred percent a wizard, but we will need to see if I get the twin thing. It could be nice, two in one go." Her features softened at his compliment. Her hazel eyes, his bright blue ones....they'd surely make a beautiful combination. "Well, your bright blue eyes staring at me, yes. Always. If any of our kids got them, I'd be thrilled."

"Glowing? You're sure it's not just the sweat on my face from rushing here?" That would've been a perfectly plausible explanation, she thought, though she only teased. Sam almost jumped up and down seeing his genuine excitement at the news. Her excitement shared with him. It only reinforced the known. "Finally, yes! Can you believe it? I'm so excited for them! It is still a secret, I know Nari probably didn't mean to tell me first but wanted to pump my brakes before I present fifty new things. Right? I love being the fun aunt," she claimed proudly. "Mhm, still early. I'm sure we'll hear Freddie yell it from the UK when he learns of the news. And, just imagine the cool baby shower we can plan for her, oh it'll be so exciting!"

Joey's words, his mantra really, had already been drilled into her head. More than once. The same way her mother's mantras often were. All conflicting words, though, at least, Joey and her mother agreed on one thing. Being ruthless. She had been lately, more than she'd ever needed to be. But, she was reaching a point where that could no longer be priority number one. "Okay Joey, I get it! You keep telling me I'm ten steps behind her. I'm trying though, well we've been trying." And the furthest they had gotten was getting him out. Something they almost lost their heads for. "But, she has a whole network and it's just you and me."

Her frown deepened at his words. Over time, he had called a multitude of her ideas stupid. But, this might've been the first time she truly felt it that way. She trusted her brothers, so much, but she had also learned just how deep her mother had gone in. Sending them on classified missions and pushing them to become her favorite weapons. Something her mother had not eagerly selected her for, throwing her a bone here and there. "I had to! I can't keep secrets from my brothers!" Though it sometimes felt like they might just be hiding things from her. "I tried, for a long time. As long as we've been doing this." Granted, it helped that her brothers were often away. "Javi won't tell her, okay? He wants to help me." She had to believe that. "Let him be on his own again, you're not serious. Hey, I got her to let me in on the project officially. We have the location of the lab. So don't act like I've let you down at every turn."
