I know you love me. But my dad loves my mom too and look how they ended up.

Isn't it tragic how love is not enough?

I really hoped so much for us.

Every time someone tells me to seek therapy I feel like they're telling me they're tired of hearing about my problems and I should pay someone to listen now.

How can you be honest when you've been told it just hurts people.

People will interpret silence however they please.

You're always assuming until you ask and get an answer.

They all think they know.

They always think they know.

And when they realize they don't they give up on finding out.

Fuck em all.

today's the day to write a letter.

dear dad,

my horoscope said the new moon today would help me let go of a grudge I've held on to for most of the last decade. I can only assume it's talking about you.

I've been missing you a lot lately. I've been listening to the songs you used to play and wondering what you're up to. Are you still working? When do you plan to retire?

I still think about our camping trip together a lot. I realize that I get my liking for scheming and planning from you. Discussing grand plans and trying to figure out how to make dreams happen. I hope we get to make this one happen together someday.

I still love you. I still hope we can have a regular relationship some day. Til then im working on sorting out my heart and feelings and I hope you're still growing too.
