i saw multiple comments stating that Devon Aoki is mid, just because she does not fit some weird beauty standards that some people religiously follow. it’s insane what the internet is doing to people’s conception of what beauty is, whenever it’s a persons beauty or an objects. and don’t get me wrong i support plastic surgery, as long as it’s something that you really want, but it’s getting out of hand why are barely legal girls getting botox and fillers.

blue lock as a concept is kinda funny to me bc while I get the fact that you need an ego as an individual to succeed in sports, and specifically in football too, you have to have a team spirit too or at least be able to work in a team environment. blue lock showcases individualism a lot when football, in my opinion, is a sport that you need to have at least a little bit of on field chemistry with at least some of your teammates and I think it would be very interesting to show how blue lock as a program destroys the concept of a team or if you want to look deeper into it community. while they do make connections in there they still play to come on top, but on sport like football you’re not coming on top alone, but with a team of people and I think that it would have been interesting to see in bastard, bc in my opinion it was the team with the most individualism, to see how that individualism is not that good for a teams sports. I do think you could get some of that from the kaiser/isagi dynamic but it was very brief and it didn’t really showcase anything team wise in my opinion.

do not let anybody convince you that the world was built for two. do not ever ever buy into the idea that once you’re married or once you’re in a committed and long term relationship with somebody, that’s all you need to get by in life. do not let anyone convince you that you’re supposed to go at it alone either. do not let anybody make you believe that you’re better off alone. it’s no way to live. the world was built for communities full of love and compassion and the desire to extend oneself for the wellbeing of another. it is in your best interest and humanity’s best interest to learn how to be in communities again. do not let them take away from you what makes life transcendental and special.

saw a comment on tik tok that said why does kaneshiro treat blue lock like it’s psychological horror and it made me realize that it kinda is psychological horror bc wdym you put hundreds of teenage boys (hormones go crazy) with potential to fight over who will become the n1 Japanese striker, while for the rest of the participants it’s stated that they will never be able play for the national team, which for many of them is their dream. and they also are isolated from the world, but they also form relationships and have to watch people they bonded with get eliminated while feeling conflicted bc that’s my friend but also less competition so they don’t know how to really feel. like this is peak psychological torture
