So, Hero is the son of the one and only red dragon, Pitaya (the other parent? doesn't matter) but he´s the only survivor of his litter and came out as a runt. Due to this, Pitaya becomes really overprotective / defensive of him when other dragons make fun of their son.

When Hero became old enough to hunt on his own, Pitaya reluctantly let him explore Dragon's Valley on his own. But then Hero wandered of outside the borders and came across some Hollyberry Kingdom knights who; thinking he was on his was to attack the kingdom, captured him as vengeance for the red dragon destroying their home years ago.

He was put in a cage and show off as a exhibition (behind the current king and queen's back), until a week later when Croissant and Sandwich where visiting the Hollyberry Kingdom and sees the poor dragon getting maltreated by the knights; deciding to sneak out at night to set him free.

Aaaand that's what I have! maybe they do release him safely and visit each other frequently afterwards and become good friends :).
