“Hum... Seems like someone is talking about me...”

>A medic had approached me, snapping me back to reality from the fantasy world where everything was going to be alright, that everything could be fixed, the kids could be saved and it would all be over.
“It’s not... it’s not a sickness!” She screamed at the agent, hugging the files in her arms closer.
“What... is it then...” Happy felt stupid asking that, but It’s not like he had any idea what she was talking about.
“We were so dumb... we never checked the ink... It’s poison... they’ve been poisoned!”

>I was standing one day in one of the many hospitals, or health research labs owned by SharkTooth, felt more like a hospital at that time. I had become the leader of the mission due to my contact with other platoons and as well being a double agent. I was waiting on the result, waiting on report, and I was praying in my innocent heart that whatever this was, it could be cured.

>It was all over the news. A whole team of kids checked in to the hospital feeling almost to death Ill, but the hospital found no sickness in them and didn’t know how to treat them. Then they died, right there on their hospital beds.
What really tipped the can over was when more and more kids checked in, always in teams, always with the same experience, same symptoms, and then they died. I had just signed up to work for SharkTooth platoon, and they took the issue quickly, to start searching through what had happened to all these children. Together with SquidBeak we looked for a pattern, for any traces of whatever this was that spread like a plague. Even people outside of inkopolis had gotten affected, and this turned into a huge operation.

>How long has it been again? Oh right. I remember briefly how it started...
