oh yes i do understand that obviously not every teacher would be accepting and i feel horrible for the beings who have had to experience criticism and bullying and being told ANY of the things you said in the 2nd one. its horrible.

A few days ago I made a post about creating a colaborative alter/nonhuman journal, and since many beings seem to like the idea, I'm so glad to announce...
...that this project is now on my to-do list :D !! Yay !
Of course I can't manage all this on my own, I would need help. That's why I'm making this post:

ā¢ Why a journal?
Well, lately, a lot has been happening in the community all around the world; the hispanic dramas, its emergence in Asian countries, etc. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find informations, and when you do find it, you wonder if it's truely reliable...
Tumblr is a wonderfull place, but all the posts everywhere can seem overwelming and not that clear.
So I thought that creating an online newspaper might be a good idea!
A newspaper could also bring together the community which is, let's not lie, rather divided.
ā¢ Ok, but what kind of journal ?
I see it more like this: a journal published every month (or maybe every week if we are really efficient? Or every two weeks?) consisting of several pages with several sections. These sections could be about news (well yeah that's a news paper) and other alter/nonhuman subjectif like:
what is happening in the world in relation to the community
controversies (with testimonies from both sides to promote understanding and avoid "wars" and community dramas)
New terms !
Other news stuff
original diy gears ideas for a wide variety of types
Tips and advises
Anecdotes from community members or about the community itself
Positivity !
Little comics ?
Drawings, photos, and any other kind of art ! (No AI generated !!! -The only exception is if you are an AI and part of the community)
Advertisements for ethical, alter/nonhuman shops
Definitions, explanations of terms
Other things
We also need to find reliable sources!
Perhaps it could be made printable?
I think it should be separated from Tumblr because it's more of a blogging site than a journal, but I don't know. I'd like it to stay accessible and free.
ā¢ And how are we going to do it?
To begin with, I'm still not sure if this project will succeed; I've never participated in anything like this before, but with cooperation and perseverance, there's a chance !
I would also like to add that I want everyone involved in all to enjoy their participation. Ideally, we would be a large enough group so that everyone can participate at their own pace, because it needs to remain fun and enjoyable to do! However, we should remain cooperative and open-minded.
Open-mindedness and understanding is fundamental to this project, I do not want to make a war.
I'm going to create a Tumblr community for anyone who would like to help with all of this. If you'd like to join it, let me know and I'll invite you when it's done!
No need to commit 100%, you can participate from time to time, or even just try it out to see if you like it. Nothing is set in stone!
We will need reporters, artists, beings to proofread and check for errors, beings for layout, being wanting to share their experiences, anecdotes, and many more! Roles are not set in stone either! :3

Some time last week, I overheard this boy in my class talking about me. He said, 'talanki genuinely can NOT be human bro' and some of his friends were agreeing. I guess he was saying that because of how I act and dont care for humans and their standards. It could maybe be classed as talking bad, but it wasnt to me. It made my day hearing someone talk about how I cant be human, because im not! ^_^
Similarly, another time last week, I was out with some friends. We were out to eat and one of them said to me, 'you have no concept of table manners, huh? I fw with it heavy.' I do have a reputation for being a messy eater and a severe lack of table manners. It made me realise that me being an animal is a lot more obvious than I think, and I like that thought
iām always shocked when therians say theyāre insecure about not being the āstereotypical therianā; masks, tails, gear, quadrobics, and more
iāve always expressed my therianthropy through talking about it and journaling about it, i donāt think iāve ever worn something or did something to express my identity. i feel more connected journaling. i usually donāt spend time in nature either.
this is a reminder that itās okay you donāt express your therianthropy physically or if your identity doesnāt have a huge impact on everything you do or your hobbies.
on the opposite side, itās okay to do all of these things and itās okay to have it be an integral part of your daily life.
Reminder that I'm perceived as Black before I'm perceived as any of my internal identities, and that will always be the case

i feel like teachers are the most understanding of therianthropy and i wonder why
my friend last year had her kahoot name as ā____TheTherianā and my teacher asked her what it was.. she explained and he just went, āwell you learn something new everyday!ā
ive heard stories about people coming out to their teachers about being a therian and they were fine with it..
iāve always wanted to do an informational text and site for therians but i donāt want to seem uneducated in front of some people in case they donāt agree with me š¤·āāļø the term therianthropy and therians have been thrown around lately and some people in the community donāt even know what theyāre talking about
