01. there was something cold & beautiful about jon snow’s youngest daughter, and anyone who looked in her eyes was drawn to the storm within. she was the epitome of a winter rose, which bloomed bright despite the severity of the northern climate. lyanna was named for the she-wolf which once roamed the halls of winterfell, whose story would never be forgotten. despite being like her mother in so many ways, she clung to her father, and he ingrained in her the loyalty & stubborness of the north.
02. lyanna learned from herself that she wanted a lot out of life. being the youngest daughter meant that she might not be given the same opportunities as her sister, & it made her hungry for more. a bitterness slipped into her heart, or perhaps it had always been there. lyanna craved power & position. behind her honeyed smiles was something dark & wanting.
03. from the time she could walk, lyanna was taught how to ride a horse. she loved nothing more than galloping up on the moors. she would be gone for hours once she grew up, causing her father to go grey with worry. she was just as willful as her namesake, but certainly more cunning.
04. to bolster her public image, lyanna spent a lot of time in wintertown. she made sure that men were sent down to fix the leaking roof of the orphanage, & promised the children that she would visit every week to read them stories. she fed the poor & called the maester down to tend to the ill. lyanna presented herself as the perfect lady, refined and talented in all womanly arts, including deception.
05. despite her ambition, lyanna detested the thought of leaving the north. she wanted to be a great lady of the north, strong & determined, unswayed by southern perfumes & sweet wines.
06. the question of a betrothal has been brought up on many occasions, but she’s unwilling to settle on just anybody. lyanna wants to know what they’re about, she wants to know if they’ve got the same hunger in their blood as she does. while she loves her family, she dislikes her sister greatly & feels tremendous jealously... which she’ll never let show.
