Dope marker here from Korean stationary staple Monami

Great design on the SigmaFlo font. Also an unusual barrel full of liquid ink instead of the standard felt reservoir system.

Mark Master

I found this at a Korean supermarket in Melbourne

It's of much higher quality than the standard markers to be found in spots like this, with a metal barrel and screw cap. 

Struggling to find info on "Better Marking" brand.

Reynolds Markers

I copped these on eBay cheap with free postage, I was interested because they are from India. They came with 2 Camlin ink refills, the ink is dark and thick.

In a short period of 20 years the company has grown from strength to strength and has changed the very way writing instruments are perceived in India."

Having looked at the product range I can't see any broad or jumbo versions, which is a bummer.

Stephens Vivid

Go to New Zealand and ask for a "Magic Marker" or a "Texta" and you will get blank looks.

In NZ it's a Vivid.

The Vivid is produced by Bic, originally a French brand who came out to New Zealand and Australia in 1957. You would know them for the iconic lighter that they patented in 1973. They bought out Stephens, a local stationary company when they moved into NZ.

Vivid's are locally made in Auckland still to this day.

This vivid is over 10years old and flows like a new marker.

Tratto

I scored this pen whilst in Rome.

As usual I try to dig around for markers, this trip was hard for some reason. Maybe all the markers were behind the counter?

The Tratto Marker is different in it's flat shape, feels great to hold.

Relics from the past - Kuching

Kuching was a city that took me by surprise, very cool place and it hadn't been turned into a metropolis of high rises and new fancy malls. 

Here is another couple of older markers that I found there.

Artline Poster Marker - Fluorescent 

Big fan of these with the stock paint in them or emptied and refilled. High quality valve system and nib, still obtainable new in stores around the place. Shame there was no other colours or bigger sizes in this store, the stock looked ancient.

I'll keep the wrapper on this one I think

This is the TPF paint marker - Water based and flows nicely, again no other colours available but I decided to grab it due to knowing nothing of TPF
