What do we create when together? What colors are our feathers? Do we feel as strong apart? Or is safety on the stage of a disappointed heart? People come together in times of need for charity, protesting, and celebrating. Though, gossiping, guilting, and shaming are also needs. There’s no need to judge the parts of us that participate in any of these states. Charity and celebration couldn’t exist without greed and devaluation. Yet, like everything else, there are consequences for all perspectives. People, places, and things contribute to how reliable we consider our own vessels. Our own capacity to carry. With or without community, companionship, and resources for aid, it’s of value to discern dialogue alongside the felt experience. This discernment revives memories worth honoring, if the intention is to mature our relationship to the memories. Since we’re in a world of opposites, it’s easier to ask ourselves: do I feel inspired or drained where I am currently motivated to create? Get in the moment. See what you respond to before you react to it.
Your sense of self isn’t a static image, bro. It’s more like a climate or a biome. Both of which can shift in gradual ways over time or suddenly due to internal or external factors. Just check the weather report, man. Don’t try to force the sky to stay blue without clouds 24/7.

this may not work for everyone, but the best advice i’ve ever heard was something like “if you’re struggling with something, make it easier.” that sounds like bullshit, but it actually helps me a lot.
i struggled to brush my teeth for years. i still do! but i made it easier for myself by paying attention to my needs. what kept me from brushing? part of it was the sensory experience, so i switched to an electric one and it works much better for me. part of it was having to stand in the bathroom for two minutes, so i moved my brush and toothpaste into my bedroom, where i lay or sit in bed and look at my phone while i use them. this didn’t solve the entire problem for me, but it made things so much easier.
i can’t stand having a shirt collar, so i wear mostly tank tops, but for the shirts i really like, i usually just cut the neck part out. yeah it’s not super pretty, so i keep some of my shirts uncut if i really like them for their look, but it helps for my every day clothes. (my mom taught me this one.)
showering and doing dishes are two things that make me want to die from boredom(? i don’t really have a term for that crushing boredom/dread of executive dysfunction and trauma responses). now i have a speaker for my shower and headphones for chores, and i just listen to music or podcasts. it makes things easier, even if it isn’t enough every time.
just. look at what you’re struggling with and think about what specific part is bothering you most. if there’s an easy fix, take it. even if it only makes things slightly more manageable, you deserve that. you deserve an easier way to do things that you struggle with. even if the solution seems silly or weird, is it hurting anyone? is it making anything worse? is it better to brush your teeth in bed or not at all?

“I feel ready to begin a new cycle of learning and growing.”
Have you had that moment when you are sick of hating your body? You aren’t sure where to go next, but you know that being in battle with yourself is no longer sustainable. That is the The Fool energy. The Fool is that beginning of a new journey. By making the choice to start to heal your relationship with yourself, you are taking a step in the right direction. Simply have an open mind and do the next right thing.
We chose the dandelion to represent this card, because this is one of the first flowers in the spring. The fresh hope of a new  beginning.Â

Witch Tip - Equinox vs Solstice
What's the difference?
An easy way to remember this is within the name
Equinox comes from the Latin words “aequus,” meaning equal, and “nox,” meaning night. Equal night. The daytime and nighttime are equal on these days.
The sun is exactly above the equator and the sun's annual pathway, the ecliptic, intersects the celestial equator.
Solstice comes from the Latin word “solstitium,” which means “stopped sun”. This is when the sun is the furthest north or south.
There are two equinoxes and two solstices in the year, these are as follows:
Spring Equinox
Night and Day are equal
Northern Hemisphere- March 20th or 21st
Southern Hemisphere- September 22nd or 23rd
Summer Solstice
The longest day of the year
Northern Hemisphere- June 20th or 21st
Southern Hemisphere- December 21st or 22nd
Fall Equinox
Night and Day are equal
Northern Hemisphere- September 22 or 23
Southern Hemisphere- March 20th or 21st
Winter Solstice
The shortest day of the year
Northern Hemisphere- December 21st or 22nd
Southern Hemisphere- June 20th or 21st
Many cultures have holidays based on the supposed movement of the sun.
You can read my posts about the spring equinox and winter solstice if you'd like to know more about the witchy parts of these sun-based holidays!
Witchy Quick Tip - Make "Home"
Make "Home".
What do I mean by that? I mean that you need to invest in making your living space into home.
You need a place where you can go to recharge, where you feel fully free and fully comfortable.
Of course, this can mean finding a shelf for your herbs, witchy books, correspondence list print-outs, or displaying your tarot cards in order from biggest to smallest if you like.
But it also means decorating your space (even temporary decorations), getting good bed sheets, getting a satin or silk pillowcase, and getting yourself a nice robe and some comfy slippers.
Make your space a sanctuary.
I'm aware that not everyone is free to practice witchcraft openly in their place of residence. I feel for you and want you to know that one day you will be able to do whatever you damn well please in your space. Until then, find a corner of your room, a journal, or online spaces that you can make into "home".
A lot of "daily witchcraft" stuff just boils down to practicing basic mindfulness and self-awareness. That's not a bad thing. Like mysticism aside, yeah your little daily witchcraft practices are certainly going to yield good results if it's making you reflect on your emotions, identify your goals, analyze what food and drink you're putting in your body, ground yourself, and act with intention on a daily basis if you weren't doing it before.
