hey joi.. I’m a young girl.. well not so young (I will be 21 next month..) I wanted to ask how did you become the woman you are td? You seem so free. I also major in studio art.. it’s my release sometimes though I give myself too many high expectations lolol to be proud. How did you find opportunity in the city (I live in nyc) to make such art through other medium? You are a bit of my inspiration. Not for aesthetics or the way you are but the essence to be free. I too wish one day I can be free w a touch of sensual, through my own lens. I get bits of that feeling when I’m in raves, hanging w friends. But I don’t get that feeling of sitting w it much. I want to live in fluid someday. I grew up sheltered and I’m currently still living my parents.. it’s brutal. Sometimes I feel like it made me more shut in. I despise it. I never got to experience the life I secretly crave. I hope in my 20s I can be a little more like you. Were you ever sheltered before? Or in a place where you felt trapped? How can I be.. less afraid?
