It's funny how difficult it is to stay angry when dressed to the nines.
Little lace handkerchiefs are of limited use when it comes to hay fever.
She closed her eyes, surrendering to the ceaseless, tender argument between what was really there and what was merely felt.
Lie is a dream your soul sails across like fingertips across the most delicate organza. Embrace your truth awash in a phantasmagoria of satin and lace.
I rarely post images of men, but in tribute to @danni-gurrl's amazing song that she recently posted, I thought I'd add my contribution. Most of my music I use for my YouTube channel, and it's all very emotional and heartfelt. This one is called "The Dress that Held the Sky". Trust me, this isn't AI slop - it's written and edited by me, with lots of revisions and fixes (hence why V5!)
Listen and make your own on Suno.
It's a beautifully poignant song about a simple sun dress which held the memories of lost summers and heartache. The lyrics are very personal, using specific, sensory memories - frayed straps, the smell of sunscreen, ticket stubs - to evoke a powerful sense of nostalgia and a love that outlived its promise. The closing image of a new girl twirling in a changing room, unaware of the ghosts clothes can hold, is a devastating and perfect conclusion.
It's absolutely worth a listen. Please do.
The first version was originally heard on one of my petticoat specials:
One from my latest video on my YouTube channel. This video is another dedicated to general satin dress appreciation , with some lovely big petticoats, floral prints, pleats and maybe even a maid or two.
I rather enjoyed making this one - the song "Rust & Stardust" is a particular highlight this time. If you have four minutes to spare, it should delight anyone who appreciates femininity.
(And apparently this post needs a mature label. Madness.)
The latest video on my YouTube channel is a rather romantic vintage bridal dress special. Everything on my channel is completely new stuff which hasn't appeared on Tumblr or DeviantArt before (but may do in the future!)
@ai-satin-chic does bridal bliss best!
ANOTHER new dress?
Another mailbag request, this time for a few brides from the "old" archive.

Thank You My Faithful Followers
What a milestone! 4000 followers feels like I've almost become some cult founder. I'd be happy to see this rising up further in small steps. Maybe some pieces of footwear got lost along the way during these 18 months of AI creations and are now revered relics. Thank you all for your continued interest in this blog that always tries to avoid boredom by sometimes taking unexpected twists and turns.
Wow, an amazing achievement, congratulations @dryndelicate! It's fully deserved!
Congratulations @dryndelicate ! Well done.
My latest YouTube video is out, and this time it has a "vintage" theme. The above is one of the images, and there's loads more with animations too. I hope you enjoy it!
2025 AI Creator Challenge 4: Happiness
Many thanks to @softsmooth69 for running the latest round of the AI Creator Challenge, this time with the theme of "Happiness" - the one thing (or things) that make you happy.
For me, it's home.
Nature's majesty lies in the familiar landscapes of home. While Wales may not boast vast rainforests, endless deserts, or sprawling coral reefs, it offers something equally profound: the serene beauty of ancient rolling hills and verdant forests that have witnessed centuries of history. This quiet grandeur is truly a blessing.
The British Isles hold an irreplaceable place in my heart. From the misty Scottish lochs to the sweeping vistas of the Brecon Beacons, from historic royal palaces to the humble street where I was raised - these places provide a joy nothing else can match.
With this happiness comes a sorrow. I watch with growing dismay as government housing quotas transform precious green belts into concrete developments. Ancient meadows that once hosted wildlife are now flattened for soulless housing estates, wetlands that managed floodwaters are paved over, and historic views that connected us to our past are permanently altered. These developments not only diminish the natural beauty that defines our national character but fragment wildlife corridors and erode the very landscapes that have inspired generations.
