Afterglow
Winter
May into June. Autumn softens the edges — cooler light, longer shadows, leaves falling slow. These are the in-between days, where everything feels like it's pausing just long enough to be noticed.
Slow mornings in the countryside. Nothing urgent, just the gift of beginning gently.
A dog beneath his bougainvillaea tree, a quiet walk on a dust road, and the soft glow of countryside dusk.
An empty platform. A pub waiting for company. Water lilies drifting in the quiet of a farm pond. Here, the pace invites you to notice what you might have once passed by.
Our first sunrise in a small town called Bot River.
No traffic hum, no rush—just light slowly pouring in through the living room window. It felt like the town itself was waking gently, and so were we.
This is the beginning of Stillness Between Streets, a photo series documenting the quiet rhythm of small-town life.
