Hello! Long time I post this after I’m died so much on this tumblr page
Let’s start 2014 about doing some Stepmania stuff of mine
Frist of stuff is called “Pop Culture” , it is LUA chart and this time I’m use luacourse
And finally the chart before new year coming , it also use luacourse too

big progress on game engine
So a couple of things to note here:
- Conveyors move you the same speed no matter how many tiles you’re touching. The game keeps a count of which direction and many conveyor tiles you’re touching of that direction. If the number is negative (left-direction dominant) then it will move the player 3 pixels left per frame. If positive (right-direction dominant), it will move the player 3 pixels right per frame. This is done to avoid jittery movement going between 2 and 3 pixels per update depending on the current number of tiles touched.
- The floating platforms are handled completely separate from the level terrain. Level terrain is drawn on a grid (64x64 pixels per space), whereas objects (which the floating platforms fall under) will be able to move freely. Aside from the original x/y coordinates, the floating platforms have two properties: Timer and Y Offset. Timer (not yet implemented) determines the speed of the platform oscillation, and Y Offset determines the maximum difference between current position and original Y position.
