We know I think Bucky is a huge pet name guy and love the idea that Steve gets all flustered and blushy whenever he gets called sweetheart/baby/etc but let’s talk about the flip side of that coin because Steve is not a huge pet name guy so whenever he uses one it immediately lights up Bucky’s whole heart and I need to talk about it.

I feel like Steve would go for “hon” - casual, familial, kinda traditional and little protective - but still says it sparingly because it’s not really his thing. So when Bucky gets an off handed “morning, hon” or “yeah, hon?” He can’t shake that warm fuzzy feeling for the rest of that day, and I love that for him.
