I'm beyond stoked to join the Coaching Crew this year and can't wait to spread the stoke to as many young groms as possible! Volunteering for ROI has been one of the most memorable, rewarding, and inspiring opportunities I've been fortunate enough to have. Seeing young people empowered by their illness and having so much fun on the slopes is what it's all about! The campers your donation will support are truly some of the most tenacious and raddest people I know!
As a T1D for over 20 years, I know firsthand the positive impact exercise has on the management of this chronic illness. Better management of this disease has been proven to reduce complications later in life. As an avid snowboarder all my life, I can think of no better way to give back to the T1D community.
