"Please put that down. Unless you desire to spend the next five millennium as a statue. And I’m not being factious."
"That would be great! Would I look good?" Ororo laughed.
Steven's lips pressed together in an attempt at subduing his own humor. "Miss Munroe, if there is a statue I could stand to stare at for the next thousand years, it would be one of you, dear."
//OOC
Off to the [Real] doctor! I'll be back in an hour or two. Like if you want a starter, or feel free to catch an open. :3

Steven nodded in an expression of deep empathy. “Remind me never to tell you of the time I accidentally misfired a spell… it turned a whole city block green for a month. Of course this was long ago, before you were born. And there’s a reason no one remembers!” he shook his head, musing. “That’s what I get for reading bizarre tomes out loud. I should have known better. Follies of our youth.”
He waved the memory away, and there was a crinkle at the corner f his eyes from where he smiled. “Ah, but so long as you are well now. That is all that matters.”
She stared incredulously for a few moments. “Somehow… I don’t think that’s quite on the same level as getting yourself turned into an undead creature of the night. That kind of thing is kind of hard to reverse an’ all.” Follies of our youth indeed.
"Well enough that I don’t make a habit of eating people anyway."
"At least now you have a good doctor friend to call on." he winked at her, his tone warm and humored. "I'm more than happy to help. Hopefully you shouldn't have to on a frequent basis-eat people, I mean. I'll refrain from advising you to get enough iron in your diet, shall I?"
Send me a "~" for my muse's reaction to yours sliding their arms around my muse's waist and kissing them.
//oh my word -tacklesnugs- bless you for rping this character.
//HA! Omg, thank you. It was a little daunting taking him up-being as powerful as he is-but I hope to be able to temper it a little with a no-interferance policy. Please don't ever hesitate to hit me up for a thread or a starter if you want one, I'm always happy to RP with folks!

"Oh~! By the gods, child, you scared my wits right from me. What can I do for you, dear?"
"Don’t worry. I creep out a lot of people. It’s my speciality. Are Dr Strange? Dr Steven Strange?"
"I've been called worse!" he cracked, flashing sparkling eyes with his smile. "Yes, I'm Steven Strange. And you are. . . .?"

"Yeah, that won’t really do anything. Don’t breathe, don’t eat food, no heartbeat. Medicine won’t do jack." Though he seemed to be the only one laughing about the situation. "Don’t panic on my behalf, I’m fine."
"You’ll have to tell me all about what happened, then… if it’s not prying of me to inquire. Now mind you an old man is prone to his forgetful moments, but I thought I had taken care of the… oh blather. What do you kids call it these days? The ‘fangy’ problem."
"No one actually calls it the fangy problem.” She sighed. “I got roped into some scheme by Dracula’s son Xarus, who was the Lord of the Vampires at the time, so that he could build a vampire mutant army. Went evil for about a week, got better, stayed a vampire though. I win at stupid decision making.”
Steven nodded in an expression of deep empathy. "Remind me never to tell you of the time I accidentally misfired a spell. . . it turned a whole city block green for a month. "Oh~! By the gods, child, you scared my wits right from me. What can I do for you, dear?"
"Ah, Mr. Guthrie! What brings you all the way to New York? More than the food, I hope… ?"
"Yea’ ah’m jus’ lookin’ for Sam. Ya ain’ seen him nowhere, have ya?"
"Alas, I have not. I’d be more than happy to investigate the matter further for you,…
"Ah’m alrigh’ wit’ waitin’, been doin’ it a while. Migh’ have ta go meetin’ up wit’ Vic ‘nd them in Central Park later on."
Steven couldn't help but perk an eyebrow at the boys' resignation. "Is that so? I trust the issue itself is not so pressing, in that case? Do I have cause to be concerned?"
"Actually I came to check on you, Son. But I suppose I can oblige.” Steven chuckled and searched about for a moment, before presenting the wire strippers to the other man. “Is this a bad time?”
"To check on me…" He mused beneath his breath, slipping the strippers into the back pocket of his jeans. Alexei folded his arms across his chest, leaning against the fuselage of the Ag-Cat Danvers had wanted him to look at, "Depends on what you want."
"Please, excuse me. I think I should introduce myself before I venture further." Steven held out his hand. "I am Doctor Steven Strange. A longtime friend to Miss Danvers, if that assuages you any. As much as I would love to say she sent me, I would be fibbing. But that is close enough to the truth. Should I start by asking about your health? Or would that seem disingenuous?"

"Gee, guess not everyone got the memo after all…" She said, a somewhat awkward smile on her features. "Not exactly living anymore."
"I suppose that answers the question regarding whether or not I ought to contemplate cardiopulmonary resuscitation, isn’t that so?" he chuckled. "I’m glad I asked. Otherwise I might have panicked."
"Yeah, that won’t really do anything. Don’t breathe, don’t eat food, no heartbeat. Medicine won’t do jack." Though he seemed to be the only one laughing about the situation. "Don’t panic on my behalf, I’m fine."

"Well… afternoon there—" Steven checked the chart and offered a perk of his eyebrow, then tilted the look back over the clipboard. "—Care to tell me what brings you in today, Miss Lewis… ?"
"Oh. Hey." Darcy glanced between her phone and the doctor, pocketing it away in her bag. When she looked up at him, he wasn’t exactly especially strange.
Did other people think it was totally weird that his name was literally Dr. Strange? How did people not make continuous puns around him? Dr. Ordinary Dude would may have been a better fit. "Primarily using up my employer’s health insurance plan. Uh— okay, so, that’s not completely true. I think something’s wrong with my head. Like my brain? I’ve been having… nightmares? And during the day… That’s weird, right? That’s weird.”
"Oh I see." he nodded, his expression warm, but businesslike. "Well, then, let's take a look, shall we?" He folded the papers on her chart down, and fetched a penlight from his pocket. It wasn't entirely lost on him the way she regarded him with an almost eager enthusiasm. It was almost contagious.
"I presume lately you've not taken a significant tumble? No falls or blows to the head? Look strait ahead, if you would, please. There's a good dear."
He inspected her eyes, watching the pupils dilate as he contemplated her answer. When they moved to his satisfaction, he hummed his approval and slid the penlight back in his coat pocket, and then, unwound his stethoscope from around his neck.

Steven let out a long sigh. "Ms. Potts, while I do appreciate Mr. Starks' tenacity, I'm afraid I am the wrong person to consult on any matters pertaining to his technological ambitions. I'm not sure I even want to know what he's thinking of, sending you here. No offense intended, of course, dear."

"Well hey there, kiddo! Long time no see—" Steven tilted a look over his glasses. "Is it just me or are you a bit pale?"
"Gee, guess not everyone got the memo after all…" She said, a somewhat awkward smile on her features. "Not exactly living anymore."
"I suppose that answers the question regarding whether or not I ought to contemplate cardiopulmonary resuscitation, isn't that so?" he chuckled. "I'm glad I asked. Otherwise I might have panicked."
