IN VINO VERITAS

Říká se, že ve víně pravda je.

Že pozná ji ten, kdo se napije.

Já vážně poznal ji, jednoho pozdního večera.

Tanec, pití, a hladový oči dvě.

Bujarý zpěv, tehdy ozýval se do šera.

Hudba, hluk, a ty prokletý oči tvoje.

Já poznal taky, jak vratkej je osud,

když líh do hrdla se lije.

Jak ztracenej já hlupák byl dosud,

než nohy mě donesly až k tobě.

Já poznal ji v moment, kdy usmál ses na mě.

Kdy učaroval mi ten smích tvůj.

Já tehdá, dostal se do ráje.

Tam, kde můžeš být jen můj.

Já poznal ten den, že ve víně vážně pravda je.

Tam někde na dně se skrývá.

Tam dole, kde umírá poslední naděje.

Tam proudí moje voda živá.
