the difference between johnny and dex is that one of them is actually on medication and it’s not the one you think

sr1 remake where the saints actually have locations in between missions. there’d be an icon on the map letting you know where to find them & you could talk to them w dialogue options. ask lin how it’s going with the rollerz and she gives a different answer for every mission/stronghold finished. ask johnny what the deal is with him and aisha. ask dex what he thinks of the others. ask troy why he looks like that

actually. love the idea of dex being a class traitor. he’s the opposite of johnny, who wouldn’t sell out for all the money in the world. the saints are his home, his people, where he belongs. vs dex who uses the saints as a launching pad to catapult himself into the big leagues. johnny is the one with class consciousness and dex is the one who subscribes to the dog eat dog american dream mentality

this glues so well with their attack styles too like dex is willing to play the game and play dirty, whereas johnny would rather smash everything than betray his values
