Tumblr appears to have messed up the order of these pictures so they are not in chronological order. Nevertheless, these are some of the more interesting pictures I’ve taken on my phone this year.
Straight tech fire.
Garrett Fukkn Reynolds. That is all.
Yesterday was interesting

A good portion of the Cult team + Arizona parks, ditches, pools, drains, and perfect street spots + Veesh filming and editing + 28 freaking days to capture it all.
You do the math ;)
I watched this a year ago when I was drunk and I commented that it was the Criminal Mischief of my generation.
I don’t necessarily agree with this statement still but this section is flames.
The vibe of the song perfectly matches the riding. Starts of kinda chill, then progresses a bit, and then by the end is going 100 mph. Well, he’s riding at a pretty good pace in a majority of the clips, but the epicness of the clips visibly escalates from “slower” tech moves into burly drops and wallrides etc.
Always a good watch, and always gets me stoked
One of the most stacked trips I think I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching.
Milton Martinez, Figgy, Grant Taylor, Louie Lopez, Wes Kremer, and more.
So many ‘oh shit’ moments in here that I lost count.
Of course I’m stoked on this one..
Classic Sean Burns. Theatrics, fast riding, massive drops, punk rock sound track. Oh, and he broke his fucking back while filming for it.
He was paralyzed from the waist down for a little bit but it appears that he is back on his feet at this point in time.
Be a gc and donate to help with his medical costs (murica)
2010 NZ Dirt Jump Open - Woodhill Forest
I think this might have been the first “real” contest I went to. I had only been riding about a year or so and was absolutely mind blown by the level of local riding.
A rider known as “the bastard” front flipped off the roll in which is one of the most loose cunt moves I have ever seen. I don’t have a picture of it but if you know the roll in, you know what a serious move this is.
1. Jed Mildon - Mid Double Flip. As far as I am aware this is the only photo of this trick
2. Langers - Langlands started riding this 26″ jump bike a few days before the contest. As you can see he took no time at all to adjust...
3. Langers - Classic Langers. Beyond extended super flip. MX af
Last April I was lucky enough to go on a trip to Australia during my uni mid-semester break and attend my first ACT Jam. I still had assignments to do while in Australia and actually spent the whole day before the jam knuckling down and smashing an assignment out in the McDonalds down the road from Belco skatepark.
All of this footage is from the first night of the event. It starts with footage from the late afternoon before the jam officially kicked off, the absolutely insane bowl session pictured above, as well as clips from the box jump jam, and street jam.
I still have footage from the second night to process, and the third day which I will have to dig out from deep within my instagram story.
I started off with an hour and a half of footage and consolidated into this.
Enjoy.
edit: Bonus Rhysty Commentating Footage: Going into ACT Jam I knew the riding would be sick but I was not prepared for the onslaught of wise cracks, one liners, dad jokes, and all round entertainment from Backbone BMX Shop-Owner, Rhysty. This is only a small portion of the laughs to be had. I may or may not release a v2 with the clips that aren’t in this video.
