girls night out
Happy Birthday @rikki-fanart! :)
“Probably, there was too many of those idiots walking around before if you ask me. Made them easy targets for a mugger usually or something like that.” She replied, her eyes on the TV listening to the reporter listing most of the repairs and buildings that had just finished up.
Soon enough, a few knocks came from the front door and Alex immediately reached for her wallet and headed there. Moments later she returned with the two boxes of pizza ordered, setting it down on the coffee table and heading to the kitchen to grab some paper plates. She didn’t really care much for washing dishes.
Returning to the living room she gave the other one plate and opened up the box to the fresh scent and heat of the grub within. “You first.”
“Suppose she had closer ties with the rest of the crew she was with then huh? What, did she just give up?” She conversed, leaning back into the couch while her eyes were pointed straight towards the television.
Alex had begun nonchalantly changing the channels with the remote. “I’ll be honest, you seem more like a lightweight smoking with me than when we first took a few hits.” She said with a small chuckle, giving the other a look before the blonde focused back on the TV.
“Hey no worries, just relax once in awhile.” She replied, her eyes returning to the television. Miami’s restoration was going pretty quickly considering the damages it had faced in the past, but persistence was key and most people sought to rebuild the city that was once filled with drug wars and crazy masked killers running about to apparently root out signs of the Russian Mob.
Alex didn’t want any part of that life anymore, even if the thought was enticing at times, at this point. It was a cold reminder on how her brother’s life got taken away from him, and that was more than enough to give that life up.
There were times where she was nearly pushed past the boiling point if she was honest.
But that’s what the weed was for. “It’s pretty amazing how fast everything is being built back up, from all the shitty casinos and bars. At least they focused on the hospitals and important shit first.” She commented, before taking a sip of her drink.
hey @ all fandoms do u wanna keep this in mind pls
Alex took a moment staring at the other, can in her hand and awkwardly standing in the path towards the living room. She wasn’t entirely convinced but even before he never really spoke unless it mattered, so she’d dismiss the pestering thoughts on what this man was actually thinking continuing into the living room finally.
“Come’an sit! I’ma check the news channel while we wait for the grub, they usually like updating people living in Miami how all the rebuilding is going.” She called out to Jacket while she plopped down onto the couch, immediately reaching for the remote on the coffee table and turning on the TV.
“I’m not sure if you’re stressed about staying here or not, but if you are. Relax, I think it’s high time you settled down.”
She chuckled at her own shoddy pun, while popping open her own can of soda.
From his reply, she wasn’t entirely convinced. Alex took a swig of her own drink while thinking of a reply, it wasn’t often where she’d find herself talking to people she hardly knew. It usually entailed that she was upset or aggravated with the people she actually cared about.
“You look pale as shit, and those scars? They look like they’ve been infected, I mean if that’s your definition of perfect then by all means...” Obviously she did sound like a smart ass, but in the most friendliest of manners.
Well, as far as meeting strangers went, she was being pretty damn friendly.
Quickly giving her roommate the address for the delivery, Alex continued taking hits from the joint that slowly began shrinking in size. Her mind wandered while the other finished with the order, her body acting on it’s own to find her wallet to prepare for the coming grub.
Although from the spliff she smoked, her throat came with a burning sensation to which she had arisen from the couch to make her way to the fridge to get water or some sort of beverage, accompanying the other in the process.
“Got some pop in here if you’re thirsty. Or water, either way.” She mentioned while pulling a can out from ice box and shutting the door.
“Something on your mind?” She asked, stopping herself from returning to the couch.

There were times Alex got real sick of the company she kept, each one of them having something unbearable to her about their personalities. Which is why she found herself at a rather odd joint sitting at the bar.
It was known as Hank’s Bar, and one of the other customers sat next to her and he didn’t look all that great.
“You look like someone decided they’d make roadkill out of your face. You alright?” She asked, looking to make idle conversation with the teal haired patron.
Alex let a groan escape her lips at the other’s continued rejection of weed, but kept a smirk regardless. She was going to get high, and if she was going to be the only one in the room high than it’d be fine with her, she wasn’t about to push it on anybody.
“Ahhh... Alright alright.
Uhhhhhh... Not sure, I got a home phone in the kitchen though. You can call them from there, should be a phone book somewhere in the drawers.” The blonde suggested to her new roommate while she looked for a lighter.
“It all usually tastes the same in the end anyway so, get whatcha’ like. I can cover the costs, so don’t worry bout’ that.” She gave him a reassuring smile before she pulled the joint to her lips.
It’s been a long while since Alex has tried to ensure that her guests or even roommates are taken care of, and with how Jacket seemed. She was willing to extend an arm out and let him settle down.
“I mean, it isn’t as bad as all the other shit people take for a high. At least this can’t kill you, just makes you really fucking hungry. Reminds me to order some pizza.” She replied, actively trying to keep a positive attitude even if it wasn’t her strong suit.
With that thought she continued to roll another joint with the rolling paper and the weed she contained in moderately sized pill bottle with obvious coloration's added to its appearance, she performed this with a happy-like leisure and expertise till there was a freshly rolled joint between her fingers.
“Don’t know when was the last time you smoked, but you wanna’ take one hit? You never know, it may be good for you.” She suggested, the blonde trying not to egg him on into doing it but definitely not hiding the wanting of getting high with another.
The silence was making Alex a bit agitated if she was honest herself, but at least he did say something and that was a lot better than nothing. While in this slight frustrated thinking however, she leaned back against the couch taking a deep breath to let her thoughts clear.
It’s been two full years since all the conflicts and violence, and even since Ash bit the dust. She wasn’t going to allow the lack of words from him get to her, that’s just how he was and Alex was not about to be a dick to him for it.
That was when a thought struck her mind, her eyes quickly darting to the coffee table and all of her supplies and smoked joints. Nothing ever made her feel better than a damn good high. To which she immediately leaned forward and started readying another joint.
“You ever smoke any marijuana Jacket?” She asked with a bit of excitement.
