My most recent project is based of a Native American story. The story had to be adapted as the original is a big gory but I will leave a link right at the bottom of the original story, also remember my stories and illustrations are based for children so they are simple and clear my book is currently at an art and design exhibition in Kettering but I will update you will the end product soon! Any way this is a summary of the story : 1)Its about a group of animals who need a leader. But they can't decide who. 2) both bison and Human want to be the leaders 3) The animals decide to have a race to decide who should be the new leader, but both bird and human only have 2 legs...compared to the rest of the animals who have 4! So bird and human are allowed to team up 4)the animals cover themselves in colours and patterns to prepare for the race 5)the race gets of to a good start but...6) Racoon falls asleep and antelope finds some yummy berries to has a snack, bison, bird and human go on, the race is very intense 7) but bird swoops into the clouds and dives down right past bison and past the finishing line...human can now lead and make sure everyone lives in peace. the original : http://www.ilhawaii.net/~stony/lore122.html
