Alternate Universe Misadventures
If you are at all familiar with the lore of Skyrim, or any Elder Scrolls games, you know that the Empire is run by Imperials, and most empires would have an heir to the throne when the current Emperor (as in the case of Skyrim's Dark Brotherhood questline, where you SPOILERS kill the Emperor.) dies.
So, what with Humdinger favoring Argonians over every other race, he decided to make a post on Juli's RP database site about how one of his characters took control of the situation, thus forming the Fourth Empire, run entirely by Argonians. Oh, also, he decided that the Imperials beat the Stormcloaks without consulting any of the other people that he roleplays with (Juli, myself, and another of our friends who shall remain anonymous).
Only when I asked him about it, did he say it was meant as an AU for our roleplay. He then made a note about it on the page.
Yet, you don't need to take my word for it. Long post, ho! You get to read it for yourself, and along the way I'mma be saying things about how I feel and clarifying some things, because you care oh so much, I know. Also, I changed the names of his characters, to preserve his identity. Names in bold have been changed.
Side note: The roleplay group has accepted my Khajiit character as the Dragonborn. He joins the Stormcloaks after he deals with Alduin. But that's not important.
(AN AU! FYI)
"Now the time has come that we of the Marsh shall dictate what must be done."
The Forth Empire, known by some as the Argonian Empire, is the successor of the remnants of the Third Empire that was once under Titus Mede II.
Background:
(Some background information can be found under Bartholomew)
Bartholomew is the Gary-Stu son of his other Gary-Stu character.
Rise of the Argonians -
War of Liberty -
... These sections don't have any information in them, but... hey, I'm posting the entire thing. Once they get some info, I'll fill this in. Maybe.
Military:
The military of the Forth Empire can be described as odd in appearance. There were different armors worn depending on the kingdom. There was also a shift in doctrine from stand up battles to hit and run skirmishes, though battles were not phased out entirely.
See also: He doesn't feel like designing uniforms for them. For literally almost all of Humdinger's characters, he consults other people to design them for him in almost their entirety. Yet somehow, they always end up looking exactly the same.
Argonians:
The King of Black Marsh, having pledged his troops to Emperor Bartholomew, also gave him their equipment. King Whatshisface, as he was called, mandated Daedric armors for his Shadowscales and armor as dark as midnight for his other troops. These forces were attached to General Strudel in the Other Made-Up Place
Shadowscales:
Light Daedric Armor
Daedric Weapons
King's Guard:
Heavy Daedric Armor
Daedric Weapons
Argonian Warriors
Midnight Mail or Midnight Plate
Ebony Weapons
Imperials:
The Imperials continue to hold the traditions of the Imperial Legion, as well as the various other races under them. The Imperials were the backbone for conventional warfare, along with the Nords.
Legion Light Armor
Legion Medium Armor
Legion Heavy Armor
Legion Plate Armor
Imperial Weapons
Nords:
With the Stormcloak rebellion quashed and High Queen Elisif the Fair ruling Skyrim, the Nords were able to support the Empire in fighting the Dominion, and were eager to after the White-Gold Concordat was struck down and free worship of Talos once again allowed.
Nordic Armor
Nordic Steel Plate Armor
Nordic Weapons
So let me clarify what's happening here. He decided that the Shadowscales are no longer just being bred to join the Dark Brotherhood, but now they have a choice in the matter. (WHICH THEY DON'T, if you don't know. From the minute they're hatched, they are trained to only know murder, nothing else.)
