Most of us know this verse like the back of our hands. You may be thinking, “Yes, I know God created the heavens and the earth, but what am I supposed to get out of this?” It can be easy to forget who is in charge, as we look at all of the chaos surrounding us. Remember that our God is the one who created this earth. He is in control. He is not taken by surprise. He is for us, not against us (Romans 8:31). Our God is still good. He is still mighty. Let’s bring Him all the glory in this time. Let’s be like Job and even when our world seems to be falling apart, still be faithful to our Heavenly Father. For He is the one who created the heavens and the earth. We don’t have to fear for God has redeemed us.
