🚩Red Flags in Tarot🚩
Seven of swords
Can represent a sneaky backstabbing person. Someone whose not revealing important facts. Think little finger from game of thrones. Can represent a thief. Someone is deceiving you. This card can also talk about betrayal. Take it as a warning.
Knight of Wands (reversed) + The Devil
Someone whose not loyal. May get around a lot and not use protection. This could also represent a person with addictions. Can represent a sexually charismatic person. As well as a person who uses sex as control. Knight of wands and devil both have sexual undertones.
Magician(reversed) + Four of Pentacles (reversed)
Represents someone trying to con you for monetary gain. Magician can represent a con artist while four of pentacles can be about collecting/hoarding money. Not a generous person or a generous person with a LOT of strings attached. Personally wouldn't take any gifts from this person.
King of pentacles + five of swords
Someone who uses status and money to bully others. Five of swords is about ruthless nature. A fight that is never truly won. Combined with the king of pentacles can represent a very self interested person who isn't afraid of using what they need to get to the top. Selfishness.

This meme is a MURDER ATTEMPT.
I am absolutely fucking serious. The original meme, without the big red denial, is someone's attempt to fucking kill people.
There is NO SAFE DOSAGE of pennyroyal oil. Even Mother Earth News says there's no reason to use pennyroyal essential oil for ANYTHING, even topically or as a fragrance, for fuckssake! That should give you some idea about how dangerous it is!
Pennyroyal tea, plant matter in hot water, is a traditional abortifacient. It is *incredibly* dangerous, induces abortion by bringing the body close to organ failure (and frequently pushing the system right over the edge, because dosage is impossible to meter), but I would drink a gallon of it before I took a half-teaspoon of pennyroyal essential oil.
Two teaspoons, taken across 48 hours, has successfully killed someone.
Three teaspoons taken as a single dosage killed the consumer within THREE HOURS.
There is NO SAFE DOSAGE! FOR PENNYROYAL OIL INTERNALLY! NONE!
The person who made this meme is PURPOSEFULLY, ACTIVELY, trying to get desperate people killed!
Pennyroyal oil contains pulegone, which is highly toxic, particularly to the liver. Ingestion can lead initially to gastrointestinal distress such as nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Later on, it can lead to failure of the liver and kidneys, resulting in bleeding, seizures, multiple organ failure, and death.
There is no antidote for pennyroyal oil poisoning.
- straight from poison control
In the hope that this saves someone’s life one day.

New Years Resolutions But Better
I’m still really having a rough go of it but I wanted to take a second to put an idea out into the world that I’ve been using some over the last year and had decent results with.
Instead of setting New Years Resolutions, I start a habit or project with the corresponding new moon.
What do I mean by corresponding? Well the method I’ve been using is seeing what natal astrological house a new moon falls in.
So my rising sign is Capricorn and I use Whole Sign Houses so it is also my first house. The first house is associated with the self, face, body, and other themes of incarnation. When the new moon in Capricorn happens in a few weeks, I’ll see about starting any projects, goals, or habits I’ve been meaning to around skin care, makeup, clothes, or any health issues I need to work on.
When the next new moon happens in Aquarius in my second house, I’ll set financial goals and see what resources I need to shore up. And so on.
What I see so often with folks is trying to do too much at once - I’ve been guilty of that. By focusing on the new moon and where it falls in your houses, it’s narrows your focus and points it toward what new beginnings are supported by your natal promise.
Important note about eclipses: I agree with the traditional interpretations of eclipses as malefic events and have seen their effect in my own life. I do not set new resolutions in the houses impacted by eclipses as I’ve not found it well supported. I recommend remediating those eclipses as you see fit and just know you’ll circle back to that house and those goals eventually. You can’t do it all in a year or two. It’s a process.
Also note - I’m talking about the houses NOT signs. If you’re not sure what the significations of the houses are there are a ton of good resources that both summarize and go deep out there. Google should begin to turn them up, but I recommend the Astrology Podcasts double episode on the topic if you’ve got the time.
So if this interests you, it might be worth trying out. I’m honestly not sure how to adapt for non whole sign house systems so that could take some tweaking. But basically I just look up the new moon dates, find out what sign they’re in, and jot down what goals might be most appropriate. Then in the days before the new moon, I just pick one to three of them and figure out how I’ll follow up on it. Managed to greatly improve some interpersonal goals I had as well as cleaning and moving around more.
If you give it a try - I hope it works out! Happy New Years!
Reblogging for the afternoon crew.
Just in case someone else is like me and cant remember any of the moon phases, the old farmers almanac can localize a moon calendar to your zipcode (USA) which is great because I find some moon calendars are a few days off of what my localized one states.
Working on this now, this is a great idea! Thank you for sharing. I might share my bujo spread on this later…
Loooove this idea!!

Tarot Trick
Shuffle your deck and think about a goal or desire. When you feel ready, split the deck in your hands and then hold the exposed card face up on either side. The card revealed in your left hand is what will hinder you, in your right what will help you.
