❀   ”That’s from Henry the Fourth," Shion had read part two of the play not too long ago, so it wasn’t difficult to place where the line was from. He had come to enjoy Shakespeare’s plays, and though this one was a bit bloody, it was still a good read, ”If I understood it correctly, it means that those with great responsibilities are always worried.”

   He wasn’t too bothered by the previous hostile accusations anymore, although it still lingered in his mind. He couldn’t hold a grudge. Besides, Nezumi had already said that he trusted him, so things were well for now. Shion didn’t believe that he was actually as cold and heartless as he liked to seem.

   Finally shifting from his position as he looked down at the books, the albino moved to sit on the edge of the bed, right by Nezumi’s legs and facing outward into the room. He was tried, but not tired enough to go to bed, and if he was he certainly wouldn’t fall asleep right there. Nezumi would surely push him off or yell at him, so, for the other male’s comfort, he would rather sleep on the couch or the floor.

   ”If I finish all of your books, I’ll just read them all again.”

He was right.

Those who had the privilege of holding a great amount of power were also burdened with heavy worries. It was a difficult role to fill and if caution was absent, corruption could easily creep in. Shakespeare was and would remain Nezumi's favorite author. Not only because he had been an actor himself but because he explored the depth of human emotions, pointing out both the immense flaws and incredible beauty they held.

Nezumi's eyes quickly darted to his side when the bed suddenly dipped, the ivory haired young man having taken the spot beside him. Perhaps it was the proximity, or the warm atmosphere his companion seemed to emit that made him soften. 

If I finish all of your books, I'll just read them all again. 

"That would require quite a bit of time, your majesty. You must be very confident about the space you've taken up here."
