if u make a lot of OCs that u get emotionally invested in, it's vital u have a friend who's really into The Mountain Goats, or become this friend urself. they have a million niche songs about any emotion or situation under the sun, there's always at least one song that can fit on a playlist if u kno where to look for it. there's nothing like telling my friend about my incredibly specific new OC and then a few days later I get "here's a song from the mountain goat's 1994 album about the Roman empire" and the lyrics were ghost written by ur own blorbo somehow
