I made a new sorter for all releases a few months ago, but realized it might not have been apparent unless you visited my sorter page.  So here’s a post about it and how to use it.

This sorter has filters you can customize and will be updated with each release.

This sorter includes, as filters:

Album or release based filters:

Korean albums

Mix tapes

All Japanese tracks: originals and re-recorded Korean songs

SoundCloud & YouTube exclusive uploads: originals, remixes, covers, literally every song posted there.

Singles and collaborations that otherwise do not fit in the other categories, including featuring for other artists

Filters based on how many members there are in the song:

Full BTS member songs

Sub-unit songs, with specific rap line and vocal line filters

Solo works

It also has options to exclude covers, skits, instrumental tracks, featurings (where BTS  / a BTS member is *NOT* the main artist), remixes, and re-recorded foreign language tracks.

How to limit the sorter to a specific album(s):

Check “Filter By Release”

Uncheck everything but the album(s) you want to sort.

(Optional) If the album includes a skit, and you want to include it, be sure to uncheck the “Remove skits” option.

Click the “Click to Start” button.

For example, here is how to get a sorter with only songs from the Love Yourself albums:

How to limit the sorter by how many members in the track:

Check “Filter by How Many Members in Song”

Uncheck everything but the song compositions you want to sort.

Click the “Click to Start” button.

For example, here is how to get a sorter with only sub-unit songs:

You can combine these two filters to sort certain song compositions in certain albums.  For example, if you want to sort the Wings solos, you should set up the sorter like this:

It saves your progress!

Ever start a *big* full discography sort and realize you don’t have the time to finish it, but if you close the tab you will have wasted the time you’ve already spent on it?  Well, now you don’t have to worry!  Simply click the ‘load autosave’ button and it will take you to where you left off.  You can also make use of the ‘save progress’ button during the sort to get a permanent link back to where you left off.

Get a unique URL to your sort results!

You can now get a URL which will show your results, how long it took you, and the time stamp of when you completed the result.  You can also generate a text list or image of your results if you prefer that.

I’ve made this sorter as it’s easier to push updates to and also moved it from tumblr hosting since tumblr’s support of scripts isn’t very good.  My older sorters will still be accessible, but just know that *this* one is the only sorter that will be updated in the future and I will no longer be making ones for separate albums, since you can easily use the filters to just sort one album if you’d like to.

If you've noticed any missing songs (pre-debut tracks removed from SoundCloud / the BTS blog are the most likely), feel free to let me know and I'll add them in.
