It was a fairly empty night in Gotham all things considered, with Seams trudging along a sidewalk after a thoroughly unenjoyable dip in Gotham Harbor. The air was warm and muggy, which did nothing to get rid of the wet that clung to Seams' attire. The dampness on scars was quite uncomfortable.

Yet luck was not on their side tonight, and they had no break. The sidewalk was quickly abandoned in favor of shady alleyways, with small breaks here and there when Seams felt like they might yell just out of pure overstimulation from the fabric rubbing against their skin and their breath heating up behind their mask. Even with the warmth in the air, they shivered. It was not a good night to be Seams.

It was likely why Seams wasn't keeping as close an ear or eye out for being followed. Usually the broker was more on top of guarding themselves, but tonight; they were wrecked. All they could hear right now was their own heartbeat and breath.

Hunting , Waiting paitently for its prey. It observed seams from above . A single owl feather falling in front of seams's eyeline.

It watched from above hidden by shadows. It was deathly silent from where it sat . Talons retracted.... Peaceful . Tonight was a night to watch , hunt , eat, It had lost its purpose after the court had lost contact with it

They were well aware of the Court; it was a part of their job after all, and this was not something they felt like they should be involved with. They were not in the mood.

If something wanted them dead right now, it probably would’ve done it already, they had half a mind to guess. So Seams kept on their path, trudging past the lone feather.

They stopped after a bit. Even with their mood and finicky nerves right now, they may as well do something about the fact they were being watched. Seams muttered something beneath their breath, a curse more than likely.

"What do you want?" The broker called out, sounding exasperated at the whole situation. Their voice crackled, with water having gotten into the cracks of their mask and into their voice modulator. "If you're tryin' to mug me, save it for another night. I'm not in the fuckin' mood."

It hopped towards another building where the light seemed to hit it faintly. It was young no older then 14 with cropped red hair and golden eyes that seemed to stare at seams curious

It did not speak besides the occasional faint flutter of its wings

Seams scoffed. They didn't have it in them tonight, but damn their bleeding heart. "Are you having fun watchin' me or somethin'? Or do I have somethin' y' want?" They asked, the black eyes of their mask staring at the outline of the kid.

They crossed their arms, waiting. Seems they wouldn't be doing much moving 'til there was an answer.

Talon felt itself gag..... as it sputtered, Expelling anything and everything it had ever eaten in the instant,

A dark mess of blackish metallic liquid stood, where it had expelled most of anything ..... It lay still heaving and shaking from where it had vomited in the dark bush... Its mouth tasted awful per usual,

Talons weren't meant for eating... not anymore, It knew that.... but the small pleasures were..... It sighed... It was still shaking...... Crying?....

Alejandro was investigating the nearby zone, looking for anything he could use as a target for practice.

The camp thing was awful, being around other people he didn't know and pretend he was there for fun wasn't a nice feeling at all.

The talon took a deep breath, finding a tree he could practice his attacks on.

"Sorry bud, I'll heal you when I'm done. Ok?" he murmured, touching the tree behind backing up and taking his crossbow and knives.

The semi undead boy attacked for a long time, trying to get everything out of his system until he felt a chill run down his spine and threw one of the few knives he took with him when he ran away from the court.

"Show yourself, coward" the boy snarled, looking up at where the other was.

Talon blinked staring at the other hidden between the trees, Familiar golden eyes stared at Alexjandros own, It was smaller than a usual talon, No doubt any less effective

It didn't speak from where it had been comftably perched...This one wasn't sinclair -....

Alejandro glared at the talon, he didn't expect nor wanted to find someone like himself in the forest.

He was half tempted to tie up the talon using the chains in his outfit but they were too pretty to be used for that.

He grabbed his crossbow, pointing at him.

"I said, show yourself."

Talon dropped to the floor with ease wings flapping so it would glide down with ease. It tilted its head running a hand through its curls looking relatively unphased.

It was silent, Studying Alejandro the way the court would study them. Analyzing if they were useful or simply burdens not worth training, Its wings fluttered to its Idle position neither afraid nor aggressive

Alejandro was well trained, that was clear from his stance and the way he held himself. No hesitation in his eyes and grip. Just caution and some light level of confusion.

He was useful, yet he wasn't wearing anything remotely similar to what a talon should wear.

"Did the owl get your tongue?" he asked sarcastically to him, referencing the silence.

Talon didn't wear their armor, Simply the underclothes, A turtleneck and baggy pants , And a simple scarf... There were still weapons attached to it however, Low enough to come across as a civilian to the average onlooker , but anyone who had worked for the court would recognize the issued clothing

"Mmm, maybe I should have ssked if an owl got you on a leash" he smirked, referencing the clothing Talon had.

Alejandro had baggy pants with some chains hanging from the sides, black combat boots, a dark green sleeveless turtleneck shirt, fishnet gloves and a black jacket with several pins (and a couple of hidden pockets).

"....mmm Its not a LEASH.." They huffed , Puffin up their wings... " My handler is missing... So I suppose no I don't have one at the moment..." They narrowed their eyes in response. " We both know you cant escape the court that easily-..."

"That's your skill issue, not mine. I beheaded my handler years ago." he rolled his eyes, huffing.

Alejandro escaped, they already lost him whatever the court liked it or not. He wouldn't go back, and if he did he would just do it to blow everything up and hope for the best.

" mmm... one thinks that..." They muttered leaning down and tracing the dirt with their claw " They just rewire you after they catch you...." It muttered... " Reconditioning is always.... a nightmare..." They sighed

" My handler wasn't the worst... He gave me n my brother a kitten..."

Alejandro glared at the talon, he didn't expect nor wanted to find someone like himself in the forest.

He was half tempted to tie up the talon using the chains in his outfit but they were too pretty to be used for that.

He grabbed his crossbow, pointing at him.

"I said, show yourself."

Talon dropped to the floor with ease wings flapping so it would glide down with ease. It tilted its head running a hand through its curls looking relatively unphased.

It was silent, Studying Alejandro the way the court would study them. Analyzing if they were useful or simply burdens not worth training, Its wings fluttered to its Idle position neither afraid nor aggressive

He was useful, yet he wasn't wearing anything remotely similar to what a talon should wear.

Talon didn't wear their armor, Simply the underclothes, A turtleneck and baggy pants , And a simple scarf... There were still weapons attached to it however, Low enough to come across as a civilian to the average onlooker , but anyone who had worked for the court would recognize the issued clothing

"Mmm, maybe I should have ssked if an owl got you on a leash" he smirked, referencing the clothing Talon had.

Alejandro had baggy pants with some chains hanging from the sides, black combat boots, a dark green sleeveless turtleneck shirt, fishnet gloves and a black jacket with several pins (and a couple of hidden pockets).

"....mmm Its not a LEASH.." They huffed , Puffin up their wings... " My handler is missing... So I suppose no I don't have one at the moment..." They narrowed their eyes in response. " We both know you cant escape the court that easily-..."

Alejandro escaped, they already lost him whatever the court liked it or not. He wouldn't go back, and if he did he would just do it to blow everything up and hope for the best.

The camp thing was awful, being around other people he didn't know and pretend he was there for fun wasn't a nice feeling at all.

The talon took a deep breath, finding a tree he could practice his attacks on.

"Sorry bud, I'll heal you when I'm done. Ok?" he murmured, touching the tree behind backing up and taking his crossbow and knives.

The semi undead boy attacked for a long time, trying to get everything out of his system until he felt a chill run down his spine and threw one of the few knives he took with him when he ran away from the court.
