Mobcrush, it's like Twitch for mobile games.

As the stream scene continues to grow more and more people want a slice of the pie. YouTube has begun to get their own streaming service off the ground, in no small part due to DOTA 2's recent competition, which saw 10 million distributed amongst the team's that participated. The new kid on the block, Mobcrush, takes a different approach. Still in BETA, it aims at targeting the mobile gamer, Mobcrush has enlisted Xbox, Apple , and Google to help develop its app. You can already stream mobile gaming via a capture card, which will give you the same versatility it would while streaming a different platform. One noticeable drawback to Mobcrush is when downloaded its marked as an unknown source which potentially could void any warranty you may have on your phone we're something to go ary. Mixed with its overly invasive permissions (which include the ability to prevent your phone from sleeping, changing the settings, direct access and permission to modify and post to accounts stored on your phone and more) we have a hard time justifying the download. Especially if you already have a capture card. However, those wishing to stream direct from mobile, or just want the convenience of not being hooked to the computer, this is a viable option of you can get passed its permissions.

We all know that channel/tuber/radio guy. The Mic pops or it sounds like they are in mach 5 wind tunnel or like they are trying to deep throat a handheld.

Here are your best 5 options to not be that guy/gal

5. MONOPRICE Large Diaphragm Condenser USB Microphone

Listed here primarily for the quality/price value. You can’t beat this Mic if you’re balling on a budget. Sitting at sub $100 you won’t even notice the hit to your wallet. But you followers will notice the boost in content quality

4. AUDIO TECHNICA ATR2500-USB Also sitting under $100 (barely) this is little USB mic comes from the leader in audio technology. This budget friendly microphone will leave you with crystal clear voice content your viewers will appreciate.

3.Razer - Seirēn USB Multi-Pattern Sitting at a MSRP of $179.99, Seirén has a higher price but not necessarily higher quality. The Mic looks pretty and still offers beautiful acoustics but we can’t seem to justify tapping the bank for the same quality Audio Technica gives you for 70 bucks cheaper. Still a valid choice if you like buying things based on brand name.

2.MXL - Studio 24 This 24 bit, zero latency USB Mic is a steal at $119.99. It’s compatible with PC and Mac and comes with Mixcraft recording software. On top of all this it’s ability to save presets true sets it apart. And at a fraction of the cost

1. AT2020USB+

Cardioid Condenser USB Microphone Sitting at $260+ this is the most expensive Mic on our list. But for the top tier streamer/youtuber you can’t beat the quality.

Coming from the same family as #4, 2020+ is quite the upgrade to its little brother. Smooth, extended frequency response ideally suited for podcasting, home studio recording, field recording and voiceover use propels this to our top choice. Paired with its ability to mix live and pre recorded audio, the stars are truly the limit here.

Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 Review

A major piece of equipment for any streamer is the webcam. Many might say it’s the most important part. It helps you engage your audience and your audience engage with you.

I mean, let’s get real. Chat loses their shit when the webcam goes bad or quality drops.

Which is exactly why you can’t beat the Logitech C920.

The 1080p webcam really can’t be best at a price $99.99. Especially compared to other sub $100 “1080p”(trust us, we tried them, and they don’t stack up)webcams.

Installation is super easy. The encoded compression keeps bitrates low so your stream isn’t laggy or skipping or blocky.

Logitech trademarked Fluid Crystal technology is absolutely stunning. Not to mention the Carl Zeiss optics are the best in the game right now.

It operates off a USB 2.0 (3.0 ready) with an easy to attain recommended processor speed of 2.4 GHz.

As far as audio quality it leaves some to be desired, but hey you didn’t buy it for the microphone.

All in all, as far as sub $100 webcams go you just can’t beat the C920.
