PARENT ISSUES(?) VOL. 2. Hideki doesn’t actually have any problems with his Dad, Wada Toshiro. The main problem is in fact the geographical distance between them as Toshiro lives in Southern Europe with his new wife and children. They will occasionally call each other using apps like facebook and whatsapp but, other than that, there is very little communication between them. Hideki is well liked by his step-siblings and step-mother, even being one the groomsmen at the wedding. In retrospect, Hideki knows he should’ve chosen to go with his Dad and his family when his parents split up but, he couldn’t leave his mother on her own.
Toshiro, with a full chameleon quirk has a tail, long tongue, eyes capable of panoramic views and with the spooked camouflage skills. He was a very good role model for Hideki, teaching him how to get a semblance of control over his quirk and, how to rise above the comments make about their appearance. However, the split with Haruna meant that Hideki stayed with her and their relationship became strained. But, with monthly visits, the two of them worked especially hard to stop emotional distance.
Hideki obviously has not told his Father about his villainous activities but, often feels that his father would be understanding. Hideki is pretty glad that his father doesn’t live locally as He doesn’t have to worry about him or his family getting dragged into any altercations.

Queen is utterly unfazed at the sudden scolding by the lizard man, her striking gaze still intently focused on how his skin changed in a smooth shutter of color, it was simply mesmerizing!! she’s never met a chameleon before!! he even became invisible for a moment!!
the villain still puffs out her pale cheeks, pouting as he refers to her as a dude. how rude. the snake draped over her shoulders hisses softly as Queen rocks on her heels, a bit miffed but EXCITED all the same.
“That’s not how you address a lady!!” she murmurs, tenor sweet & sticky like honey, but hard with an underlying edge to it; a clear warning.
Hideki watched the woman for a moment, hearing the hiss of the snake living round her shoulders. He could only guess at her occupation but, something told him that they would be in similar lines of work. At the same he could just be stereotyping quirks which is always a possibility.
He offended her? His eyes widened more so than usual at he just blankly stared at her, not quite believing the sudden change in situation. He caught the underlying tone, a sign of being around villains far too much, but he wasn't going to let it deter him. “ Dude I wouldn’t take it so personally, ” the use of the offending noun was completely accidental, “ I call everyone it, especially random strangers who come and grab my wrist! ”
“ Why you grabbin’ me anyway? Never seen a chameleon before? ”
