[What an unfortunate thing to find himself in a dark alley, alone, listening to the music blaring from his headphones. He’d been wandering at his leisure, unaware of his surroundings as he walked casually, stopping once he hit a dead end, turning around to see none other than Takaya, the leader of Strega, before him.]

"Well, well this is a..." Takaya paused to let out a soft condescending chuckle, "...pleasant surprise." 

"Perhaps this is fate. I didn't expect to see you in the world of the living. You and I were both meant to be at the other side of the world. Your existence only means there is hope for salvation once again."

>She winced making his victory even more apparent, but her words made his second of satisfaction turn sickeningly bitter. 

“The greater good?” 

>Takaya let out a mocking laugh. 

“Humanity is still in turmoil. Suffering still exists in the world. He sacrificed himself for nothing. He stole the very thing that could have saved all of us.” 

“Foolish child.”

Her fists clenched tight at her sides, his words biting into her like a cold wind. Unusually, a sneer worked it’s way onto her lips, trying hard not to look at him directly. He was downplaying his sacrifice, and it enraged her. How dare he…how dare he call his death useless.

“Shut up. He saved us. You…you and your selfish goals be damned.”

It was a shame she was not with a bow. Or something equal. She would have enjoyed hitting him, although she would supress that certain fantasy for now. no use letting him see he was getting to her.

"Damned? Don't be so foolish, you wench." 

>Takaya breathed in and exhaled softly. There was no point getting worked up over useless words. There were clear signs of Nyx's return in the air. He could feel it giving him an undeniable strength and motivation. 

"Run along little girl...while you can. I'm feeling exceptionally forgiving today.

Ah. So here you are. You foolish child have you realized your pathetic ways? Allow me to ask you to look within so you may see the deceit that lies within you.

Unlike Jin’s attempt at taking a stab at her, Takaya’s hit her especially hard, her wince obvious and…well, not hidden very well. She looks down and away from him, fidgeting slightly before she takes in a breath to calm herself.

“…He made a sacrifice for the greater good. thats what I have to say about it, Takaya.”

The name is spit out with venom, looking up at him with heated, milk brown eyes. She reffused to meet his gaze however, knowing full well the doubt seeded within herself lay deep, and she was afraid he might just spot it.

“Don’t preach to me. I don’t need it.”

I rise once again. 

Though the Tower of Demise has fallen, and this world still crawls with sin. I no longer see the beauty of the dark hour, but I still wield this great power.

Perhaps this time, salvation comes with the fog.
