i do apologize for the color, but this is important.

this photo came up on my facebook dash. it’s a halloween costume found at halloween city called “anna rexia”. this is despicable. anorexia is nothing to joke about and making a costume like this, almost trivializing a horrible mental disorder, is sickening. from what i understood from the facebook post, this halloween city is known for it’s racist and otherwise insensitive costumes.

the costume is manufactured by dreamgirl; their number is 1(800) 622-5686. call and complain, tell them that this is sick. tell them that this is fucked up, that anorexia and other eating disorders and mental illnesses are NOTHING to joke about. spread the word.

if anyone dares say that i’m too sensitive or to “take a joke”, i will promptly rip you a new one. mental disorders aren’t something to be made fun of, ever. what’s next? a cancer costume? aids?
