⚔️BACK ATTACK⚔️ - 🔘Bent over DB rows on the bench - TIP: This exercise is a variation of the bent over barbell row and is extremely beneficial to those that have lower back pain as the bench works as a chest support and relieves lower back tension. 🔥It’s a great finisher to your back workout and not a lot of weight is necessary to feel a solid pump. 🔘Focus on contracting the muscle and getting a full stretch on the negative. 🚨I have one slot open for clients in the Brickell area! Some days you may not feel like hitting the gym and that’s fine, it might actually be better for you. Just go outside and move your body like it’s meant to move. . I used to get so caught into my routine that I would feel disappointed in myself if I missed the gym. That feeling didn’t sit right with me since as humans we’re meant to move outside naturally and not in a contrived machine environment with weights and glute activation bands. I’m not bashing the gym by any means, I still go to the gym and just try to stick to more functional workouts. Just don’t get down on yourself if you miss a workout. It will teach you about areas where you may need more compassion, gratitude, and self love to heal and become a self-actualized version of yourself. . I was able to find a gym while camping and get a few workouts in! This is a simple but effective calisthenics routine I did. Pull ups 4x12 Chin ups 4x15 Archer pull-ups 5 per side burn out with wide grip pull ups Neutral grip pull ups 4x12 Inverted rows 4x12 - If you’re trying to increase your body weight strength this is a great workout! Killed back yesterday. I was feeling some shoulder pain so I stuck to mainly rowing movements. Did some close grip cable rows, high rows, dumbbell rows and reverse grip late pull downs, also did wide grip machine rows and shoulder width neutral seated rows but didn’t record those. - Haven’t been feeling my workouts too much lately and have been feeling off which is why I haven’t been posting much. I ran into the beast @realworld_tactical during my workout and he mentioned he was having an off day too which reminded me it’s totally okay to not feel it everyday as long as you show up and put in the work. That really motivated me to push harder this workout. Looking forward to getting a workout in with him soon. - It’s easy to push yourself when you feel great and are motivated but what you do on the days you’re not feeling it is what ultimately defines you. Yesterday’s back workout. I was feeling some pain in my shoulder so I decided to stick to mostly rowing movements. Here I did seated cable rows, machine high rows, dumbbell rows and reverse grip lay pull downs. Also did machine rows and seated wide grip rows but didn’t record. Wasn’t feeling too strong because of my shoulder but I ran into the beast @realworld_tactical at the gym and felt more motivated. Looking forward to getting a workout in with him next time 🤘🏼
