I have been buying a few houseplants recently and I think I am getting out of hand. I am still learning so if I have names wrong, please correct me. Here are the newbies:

Sunday night munchies; BBQ pulled pork cheesy nachos with salsa, sour cream, guacamole and chilli baked beans.

Love my Dahlia. Keeping her in a small pot so I can bring her in over winter. I really don't want to risk lossing her again

After 2 long years of struggling to find a full time job, not just the odd plumbing jobs for cash, I am now having a massive career change after being accepted or a role in caring for adults with learning disabilities. I am so excited!

I applied twice for this role. I received a confirmation email both times saying they received my application. I waited 2 weeks then decided to ring them. They apologized and set up an interview with me for the next morning. Went well despite me criticizing the interviewers diet and they rang me 5 hours later offering the job.

I haven't got qualifications but they said they can train me but they can't teach empathy.

Yes I did a little dance around my house after that call.

That was last week. I start Monday 😁

Couple of succulents I purchased. They were in a glass jar so reported into terracotta pots. I'm no expert in succulents but I am willing to learn by doing.

I found a caterpillar living on my bananas. I don't want to disturb him but I can't make banana bread with him attached.

I'm not the best at decorating cakes but this has to be the prettiest.

Requested by and for my daughter's birthday. Victoria sponge with cherry filling and vanilla frosting. With glacé cherry biscuits topped with cherry icing and cherry chupa chups.
