The bombing of an Aleppo hospital should spur the U.S. to change its policy in Syria

It’s time for the oft-talked about Plan B to actually come into play in Syria.

I feel like it will be very interesting to see the U.S’s next move with this new development and bombing happening  something needs to be done and it will be interesting to watch the US preform international duties in Syria.

A hospital assisted by Doctors Without Borders was struck in a government airstrike, killing dozens, and rebels retaliated with deadly mortar strikes.

These images show the moment of the fall of a bomb in the rebel district in Aleppo Bustan Al Qasr. The incident took place a few days ago. It is estimated that in recent days have killed more than 250 people in Aleppo. Last week, the International Committee of the Red Cross warned that this city is being pushed further toward the precipice of a “humanitarian disaster”.

This situation is absolutely devastating. To see such a modernized country and city turned to rubble and it’s people suffering is heartbreaking. I hope the global community can come together to resolve this issue soon.

I totally agree with you, it is very devastating to see people going through such troubling times. I know that things happen that we have no control over but it is really, really heartbreaking to see this happening. I pray they all find a solution because taking innocent lives is not the way.

I have the same feelings as you watching the images and videos about the bombing attack in Aleppo. What happened in Aleppo is shocking and should never happen again. Once again, innocent had to leave their homes without anything, people were injured or died for the lack of morality of certain leaders. It is unacceptable. I am praying that help and solutions will be provided to all those refugees.

Several United Nations Security Council members pressed Russia on Wednesday to stop bombing around Syria's Aleppo in support of a Syrian military offensive and allow humanitarian access ahead of a crucial meeting of major powers in Germany on the conflict.

30000 Syrians refugees are amassing at the border between Turkey and Syria waiting for the Turkish authorities to open their borders. The Syrians are escaping a major military offensive from the Russian in Aleppo. At the moment, the border remain closed but the refugees receive help on the Syrians side of the border.

An airstrike on a pediatric hospital in Syria has killed 50 people, rights groups say, as the U.N. warns that the situation in Aleppo has become "catastrophic."

Fifty people were killed as a result of an airstrike on a pediatric hospital in Syria. Children, medical personnel, and patients were victims of this horrendous attack. The US should intervene in world politics when human rights are being violated. As a country that is fortunate to not face situations like this, the least we can do is lend a hand to those who are suffering and in need of help. We shouldn’t sit by and watch innocent children being killed and do nothing.

There was a bomb attack on a hospital in Syria which was confirmed to have killed 50 people. There was a couple of facts form the video stating that one Syrian is killed every 25 minutes and one Syrian is wounded every 13 minutes.

Why did the war break out here?

Aleppo is not a goal in itself, but territorial gains are limited to the aim of fragmenting the opposition forces before any political settlement is reached. The regime and its allies know that it would be impossible to defeat the armed oppositions and reclaim all the Syrian territory.

The US argues that such attacks are direct violations of the cessation of hostilities which came into effect two months ago and must stop immediately. The opposition was ready to reinstate the wider truce, but reserved the right after civilian casualties continued through air strikes by the regime and its ally Russian Federation. The United States and Russian Federation agreed on Friday on a "regime of silence" to take place near the capital Damascus and the northwestern province of Latakia to shore up the falling truce.
