To your last post, you're right you shouldn't take someone out of position just because they get trapped when you get trapped with the ball your teammates are supposed to come help you instead of watching (which is what Dallas does) its normal to get trapped other teams are trying to force a turnover and if Chris just puts her off ball she's never gonna get better at navigateing traps and her teammates won't get better at helping its genuinely about finding a balance but he doesn't know how to do that

Chris doesn’t hate Paige, he has her off the ball because of the defense she sees. If she has the ball they’ll just double her and she has to give it up, whereas if she’s off the ball she can cut and all

Yeah, I get that. It’s just annoying to see 3 people guarding PB every time she has the ball. She shouldn’t have to get back and play less just because other people are targeting her. Chr*s lowkey just needs to do his job instead of taking her off PG (her literal position) just cuz of the fuckass bullshit defense other teams be pulling 😅 although I’m not a coach so what do I know! You’re right though that it makes it easier for her to cut and navigate. Just hope she gets more chances to shine soon. Wings finally won a game but damn… that play with Luisa and Nneka was just nasty. Nneka did not have to do allat, like- grown woman about to fight with a rookie, like baby JJ is like 4’2” GET UPPPP 😭😭😭

Turnover after turnover at the start, Arike having her 1 good game of the month … sheesh. Little bit of a train wreck but that’s alright cuz we got there! Good performances by Li and Haley I’d say, Paige played through some crazy defense too (which her teammates barely helped on???).

But seriously, glad the lead got so big. 17-0 run is really crazy considering the Wings’ track record so far. Just hoping Chr*s will let Paige play PG next game or something because damn, he really hates her for some damn reason.

Like you have the 1st overall pick, the 10th All Star rookie starter in history, and she’s the most famous/talented player right now behind Clark, and you’re throwing that shit away to start Arike.
