Hot take but I think in an Arcane medieval AU Caitlyn would be the knight, not a princess.
Also Vi might be a criminal who ends up in the dungeons
I had an idea for the Medieval AU, that perhaps the VN takes place during when Greece is having a war? I'll need to research what wars it could've been specifically, but I think it'll be a good way to add a bit of tension towards Hedwig's coming-of-age, as she'll not only be taking the throne but doing so in the middle of a war.
(It'll also add some juicy bits to Saarn's route...)
