Hey my community,

Tell me I’m wrong…

Everytime I find a beautiful tile and it’s HORIZONTAL I just cannot fathom installing it and have to flip it to vertical. Vertical tile orientation is just elite!! Surely I’m not alone in this thinking but I want to hear from you. Should I get over my horizontal bias and deliver you some fresh content?

Bonus points for comments with reference images to back up your points 😉

Design Philosophy

Studio Atelier patterns are intentionally created as single-channel materials. Every piece is selected for its unique relationship between colour, texture, and form. By preserving the original palette, these designs can be appreciated as their creators intended.

A little MIA apology from Studio Atelier 🤍

I’m sorry things have been so quiet here lately, aside from the occasional catalogue post being drip-fed onto your dashboards. A family emergency pulled me away unexpectedly, and life has been particularly busy since.

Behind the scenes, I have still been creating, including all of the upcoming rugs pictured here. The honest reason they haven’t been released yet is that I’ve been procrastinating the enormous task of organising them into cohesive collections. Apparently, making the rugs is the easy part. Naming, sorting and presenting them is where I disappear into the abyss.

Thank you for bearing with the slightly torturous catalogue previews and lack of downloads. I promise they are coming, and I’m hoping to begin releasing these collections very soon.
