"Custom" bikes are fun and all, but they tend to be boring and not very challenging. 

Re-paints however, are what make me excited to paint!  If the customer is open to anything and will let me design them a paint scheme, I always pull out all the stops... For example, here is a re-painted Bianchi.  The client and I worked the scheme out over a couple of months and I have to admit, I think it came out F'ing baller!

It is my hope that by doing projects like this, I will convince more people to go for the paint schemes that they've always wanted.

Part of what I do is painting, part of what I do is custom vinyl work.  In this case, it's the latter.  I truly enjoy the ease of designing, application and speed of process associated with vinyl.  In my mind, vinyl is as viable as paint if done correctly.

Custom, minimal and stylish vinyl graphic updates to a brand new Specialized SL4 for a local rider at West End Bikes.  I did the slashes on the inside of the fork legs and seat stays.  The colors match the team kit designed by Weights and Pulleys.  

Plans are to get team colors on his helmet...

A great picture of my teammates during the Cascadia Qualifying tournament.  

Also happens to be a great picture showing the design work on team kits and bikes.  Studio 112 picked the color ways, designed the jerseys, coordinated the bikes and executed everything in house.  My teammates provided a perfect focus group and we are all really happy with the way things came out.

Signal Cycles is back again with another of their "production bikes".  By production, I mean completely hand made to fit your size with stock in-house geometry.  Not really production at all in my humble opinion.

They offer the frame in two colors - blue and red.  Here's the very excellent blue...

Teaser picture for a special project that Tonic Fabrication and Studio 112 just recently completed.  It's a very special bike and will be built-up before I take pictures of it.  It also has very large graphics and spectacular colors.

Recently had a good friend from Calgary, Alberta - Star City Cycles - stay with Studio 112 for a couple days of bike polo.  He made this custom bike and painted it for himself.  Great to have peers in the industry with whom I can talk shop with!
