So here we are again, another TODO and as always, we love strategic partnerships. Toronto Design Week brings out the best in the city and the lovely folks at Jeff Goodman Studio didn’t disappoint with their ‘Devil’s Abacus’ screen at the Devil’s Workshop Jewellery Boutique at 890 Queen Street West.

We are pleased to be supporting JGS with a multi-faceted business strategy that focuses on taking their immense talent to new audiences. This exhibition is on until January 22.

Studio Paolo Ferrari = When Designers are at the top of their game.

We’re loving our work with Studio Paolo Ferrari at the moment. After more than a decade working on premiere luxury projects around the world as a Design Director for Yabu Pushelberg, Paolo’s new studio is set to make waves. Stay tuned.

Jeff Goodman Studio + Studio M.A. = Good things happening.

We’re pleased to be working with the incredible team at Jeff Goodman Studio, makers of modern glass in all of its beautiful incarnations. Not only does the studio have a long history of crafting beautiful installations, products and lighting, but their R&D department invented the glass product that created this stunning piece of architecture designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects.

Designstead + ME to WE = Design for the greater good.

This past August we were pleased to support our client Designstead during their in-store press preview of their work on the new WE Store in the CF Toronto Eaton Centre. The store is a for-profit, socially conscious face of the Me to We movement. It was a pleasure to witness design serving the greater good. FRAME + Unitfive Design = SMA client love

We were pleased to place Unitfive Design’s work on Sak’s Fifth Avenue Toronto on the Frame Magazine platform. Frame’s website audience reaches 75,000 unique visitors monthly. The outlet also posted it on their Facebook page for their 200,000 followers and tweeted it out to their 75,000 Twitter followers. We also debuted the digital short we produced to their international audience of design lovers.

The un-sexy side of business development and trend forecasting is numbers. Intuition and experience can only get you so far, but numbers are what underpins every strategy that we churn out. You can’t jump in without research and a foundation that makes sense. When we’ve worked with Iconoculture for the last 7 years, as well as all our clients, metrics are key in all of our decisions. This week, like always, we’re crushing numbers for Iconoculture. Getting hard target info about Canadian consumer behaviours for their Fortune 500 clientele.

We are pleased to announce we are working with the team at Quench Trip Design on some great new business development initiatives. Quench is a leader in custom experiential, bucket list, behind-the-scenes trips for travellers who want to take their trip to the next level. Up next for Quench? Outings to the Fogo Island Inn and a trip to experience Epicurean South Africa lead by Norman Hardie, the iconic namesake of Norman Hardie Winery in Prince Edward County.

We were pleased to support our client Hollace Cluny with their marketing, media and social media outreach around their 2015 “What’s New. What’s Next.” event launching incredible new product to the design community in Toronto. It was fantastic to support HC’s brands, Apparatus Studio, Lindsey Adelman, Knoll, Carl Hansen & Son, Materia, Uhuru Design, MissPrint Wallpaper, Anna Karlin, Skram, AKMD, Workstead and many others.

Studio M.A. Mid-Summer Update!

Spring wrapped successfully after supporting Unitfive’s involvement in NYCxDesign 2015 at Avenue Road and their contribution to Wanted Design Brooklyn. This lovely pic above is their beautiful take on a plaid picnic blanket, part of the Wanted Design ‘Out of the Box’ Exhibition.

We are loving our work supporting the growth of Danielle Campbell Design, and equally enthused about our ongoing projects with Iconoculture which look at consumer behaviours and trends in the lifestyle and design space.
