guys! I‘m finally back on here and already deep diving into the third semester of med school! I’m super excited for the upcoming subjects and will definitely be more active on here again. Thank you all for the amazing support on this tumblr - stay tuned for more frequent med school posts! <3
Hello what apps do you use for your tablet?
Hey! I use GoodNotes5 :)
The main reading room of the Czech National Library is probably one of my favourite places in the world ♡
studying for anatomy OSCE‘s! 🫀🩺
I finished my first year of med school and successfully passed all of my 9 exams this semester!! I seriously couldn’t be happier right now. Plus I am super grateful about the amazing support this tumblr has gotten over the past year, THANK YOU guys! 🤍
Are you interested in anybody at the moment?

facing towards the end of this semester and the amount of knowledge I have in my brain rn really doesn’t match with the amount of remaining exams so .. wish me luck on getting everything in on time 🧠
How to become a worldly woman? How do I become more articulate and refined? I want to be able to strike up a conversation in any topic, whether it be from books, to television.
read A LOT!
talk to people with differing backgrounds with different opinions than you.
do NOT, and I repeat DO NOT allow yourself to be stuck in an echo chamber.
watch films from all over the world and really try to understand them on a deeper level.
read non-fiction work about the world we live in. botany, animals, the mind, the body, etc etc.
learn different languages and study up on the cultures of the people who speak said languages. experience their cuisine and music.
read useless facts. you never know when they won't be so useless anymore.
get offline to go out into the world and experience it. visit the water, go to the mountains, see the big parks and the small ones. take it all in.
keep up with current events but don't let it overtake your life.
ask people questions and LISTEN. hear their story. you don't have to relate to it for it to be valuable.
never give up your desire to learn. new information is constantly forming and old information is always waiting to be rediscovered by fresh eyes. keep that curious spark alive and soak up the world we are so blessed to be in.
such a weird thing I started doing during med school that helps me stay enthusiastic and motivated during a topic is telling my self „hey - fun fact: …“ for either facts I simply can’t remember/sound too common to the rest of the topic or maybe clinical facts that may be forgotten to operate into the theoretical facts but especially sound good in oral exams. it‘s so strange and i‘ve started this unconsciously but filling study sessions with „fun facts“ ironically really makes everything actually more fun. haven’t figured out the psychology behind it yet but maybe give it a try when you‘re helplessly struggling to remember facts :D
