everybody wants to draw Dr. Jekyll hallucinating Mr. Hyde and having full conversations with him but nobody wants to draw him unshaven, unwashed, not having changed clothes over a week, shitting in a bucket, getting all his nutrients from tea with sugar and nothing else, trembling and blabbering from only getting ten minutes of sleep a day and possibly also having pissed himself. am I supposed to think heβs pretty and clean and acceptable at his worst, spending all of his time either working on the potion or self harming in various ways? am I supposed to think that severe hallucinations arenβt the end point of life-threatening malnutrition and sleep deprivation? or that he would be taking care of his appearance in any way? make him fucking gross now
