I’m an adult, but not like a real adult

No, it’s not.
heartworm
n. a relationship or friendship that you can’t get out of your head, which you thought had faded long ago but is still somehow alive and unfinished, like an abandoned campsite whose smoldering embers still have the power to start a forest fire.
So many heartworms
We love the poetry of artist Robert Montgomery’s “recycled sunlight” pieces.
Wasn’t hitting bottom the thing you had to do to knock some sense into yourself? Wasn’t hitting bottom the thing that showed you which way was up?

It still amazes me that this is a real picture of where I just spent 4 days #personal #bestvacationever #puntacana #perfection
When I give, it does not come with strings. I’m not keeping track of what you owe me. When I give, I choose to do without ulterior motives. I give because I know what it’s like to be without. To long for and be ignored or to speak and not be heard, to care for and have nothing in return. When I give, its because I know the value in what I have in my heart. And I refuse the world to stop me from sharing it. But when things start being taken for granted, when you no longer appreciate my time or sincerity, I won’t switch and get angry, and be spiteful. I’ll just get smart and change your role in my life.
