rare aesthetic: places you remember from somewhere deep in your subconscious
En kleine impressie van alles dat ik de afgelopen 7 dagen voor school heb gedaan.
It’s been years since i even looked at these images. I remember how proud i was, mostly proud of finishing the project. I remember how fogged my mind was with sadness and anger and frustration but how I loved these images. How I found mé in them.
Chaos, flesh, structures. This is the closest i’ll ever get to a visual representation of where my mind was at that time. This was my meditation. This was also my Waterloo.
Looking at them makes me sad. Because I hád to create, I lost my love for creating. It’s been 6,5 years since I made these images. And I am just now getting back on my feet now.
This is my commitment to creating again. My commitment to the dreams of that little lost girl.
There is no shame in losing passion. There is no shame in changing. There is no shame in letting go of dreams that no longer fit. But do not hide your passions from yourself out of fear and do not hide your change from the world. I wish I could have told myself that sooner.

this is the only september 11th post I’m reblogging
"Not the cleanshaven boy you would like your daughter to bring home for dinner" I'm pretty sure there'll be applause if i bring home bob dylan thou
I think it’s hilarious when people tell me I’m laid back because I’ve pretty much been screaming nonstop in my head since like fifth grade
This is, and I am not kidding, “Donald Grump” an actual Sesame Street character. He is a trashtalkin’ “trash mogul” who sings “‘I’m Donald Grump and I have more trash than any of yous so, na na na na na” and that he has his “name on every piece of trash in town”. Seriously, you know things are bad when Sesame Street comes gunning for you.
I remember crying in the supermarket once because i just couldn't take it anymore. I was so terrified about everything, i felt an enormous pressure to choose between two yogurts. I never came to explain it but this put it into words.
i was on my balcony, casually listening to my "new" bob dylan- cd when one of the neighbours, who've never seen before, screamed my music was crap. So i turned it off and was ready to rant-yell that this was the best, most relevant, life changing music in history and he should mind his own buisness, when he yelled that i needed a better sound system, and then he turned on the same album on his crazyass speakers he had to DRAG outside. It's been two hours now and i think we have become friends.
