I'M OBSESSED WITH THIS OUTFIT HOLY SHIT. The navy and black with subtle yellow? The mask with that hair to reach peak bird? Fuck man this might be one of my favorite outfits I've seen. It's so good.
Not a part of the Migration group, but rather, keeping to themself and a small herd of Lighthorns, which they preserve in the Isles . They're just not ready to let them go ..

This is Alvar, an old Sky OC I've brought up a few times on this blog.
This is Alvar now. I figured they could use an update! I love the cape and outfit combo on their old outfit but it just doesn't fit him. OC story below along with light changes to them.
Story time!
Alvar (They/He) is a Season of Dreams moth. Upon entering The Golden Wasteland for the first time, he lost all of their light to krills, crabs, and the dark waters. Losing their last bit of light to a very unfortunately aimed krill attack, they suffered permanent damage to their vocal cords, making them unable to deep call. He can still talk and muster up little honks but deep calling simply isn't on the table.
Alvar didn't give up though. They turned towards the Cave of Prophecies and conquered each trial slowly. Using the knowledge from their trials, they returned to the wastes and conquered it with ease. After being reborn in Eden, Alvar set his sights on a new goal: Guiding scared or hurt moths through the wasteland. They patrol The Golden Wasteland in search of hiding moths and use their staff to distract dark creatures/point moth's in the correct direction. However, Alvar has one rule and that is that there's no hand holding. The moths gotta learn to fend for themselves, after all.
When he's not fulfilling his self imposed duties, Alvar spends time with the wasteland's creatures (petting crabs, seeing how many crabs they can dodge at once, riding krills for as long as they can, sometimes studying the creatures if he feels like being productive) or spends time drawing. He does draw stuff from the wasteland but they primarily actually draw either stuff from the Cave of Prophecies/Prophecy spirits or they draw sky kids that fly through the wastes.
Few other misc info:
Alvar is secretly a (bigger) softie than they let on. There was HARD SOBBING when they saw the manta in the graveyard get krilled. Despite there being no hand holding, they will be very quick to offer physical comfort via hugs to spooked moths.
Alvar was deathly terrified of dark creatures for awhile. The fire trial was really tough on them. However, they eventually conquered their fears with the help of the Prophecy spirit's support. It's no surprise but the fire spirit really helped with their fears, making Alvar use similar teaching techniques on the moths they'd go on to help.
If they don't feel like dodging crabs they'll use their staff to tip the crabs for them.
Chronic pain. Always. They were taught sign language by the water spirit so they could avoid talking as much. Just because he CAN talk doesn't mean it isn't uncomfortable.
Their favorite realm is the Valley of Triumph. Snow and the cold helps numb the vocal cord pain, it's bright, they love the races to the Valley Temple, and they adore Bearhug Hermit. He wants to visit more often but takes his job too seriously to want to leave Wasteland most of the time.
Alvar is also pansexual, albeit a preference for masculine presenting individuals. Gender he doesn't care less lol.
