desperate need of financial help, homeless
hi friends, i hate doing this especially since i haven’t used this account much at all, but right now my mom and i are homeless. we went through a financial help program that was supposed to help us get an apartment to move into vy paying the security deposit and first month’s rent. unfortunately, today we received bad news that they don’t actually have the funds to help us. my mom and i have been homeless for months, going back and forth between living in our car and sleeping at a motel during the night when we can scrap up the dollars but we have exhausted our resources. staying at a shelter isn’t an option as i work nights and there is a certain curfew to check on and an in-take limit. i cannot switch my schedule to work mornings as i will not have a ride and i have no koney for transportation. work is not in walking distance.
because of our situation i have also not been able to afford my antidepressants and vitamins for me anemia, and i had to give up my therapy cat which has made things all the more difficult to bear. in addition to that, it’s been very cold and painful because of snow and rain. i have barely been getting any sleep because of it.
family and friends will not allow us to lay on their couches or even their floor. please, i’m at my limit and i really don’t know how much more of this i can take.
if you can send money to my paypal to help at least house us in this motel a few more nights to shelter us from the cold, that would help tremendously. please.
