The 2024 Gender Census is now open!

The 11th annual international gender census, collecting information about the language we use to refer to ourselves and each other, is now open until 13th June 2024.

It’s short and easy, about 5 minutes probably.

After the survey is closed I’ll process the results and publish a spreadsheet of the data and a report summarising the main findings. Then anyone can use them for academic or business purposes, self-advocacy, tracking the popularity of language over time, and just feeling like we’re part of a huge and diverse community.

If you think you might have friends and followers who’d be interested, please do reblog this blog post, and share the survey URL by email or at AFK social groups or on other social networks. Every share is extremely helpful - it’s what helped us get 40,000 responses last year.

Childish and caring, plays with his regressor and encourages them... almost a regressor himself but prefers caring

Loves drawing and colouring together so he can design new monsters

Educational trips into the higher levels of the dungeon ("And this plant squeezes you very cosily, like THIS!")

Gifts his regressor monster plushies and gives them a monster petname

Marcille Donato: Flip (CG>Regressor)

Enjoys spending time with her regressor and guiding them through their headspace

When she regresses it's usually impure, and she loves being taken care of by her CG and being babied

Loves coddling, either coddling her regressor and treating them like the cutie they are or being coddled and lifted of her responsibilities

Senshi of Izganda: Caregiver

Doesn't need a caregiving headspace, it comes naturally to him to care for the young ones

Obviously he involves his regressor in his cooking, let's them tastetest and treats them with sweeter foods (but still lots of nutrition and veggies)

Every single thing his regressor makes for him or gifts him he will treasure. Could be a gemstone or a leaf, everything.

Chilchuck Tims: Caregiver

Already has three kids so he is naturally a great CG, if a little irresponsible with it

Enjoys treating someone else like a kid for once, will tease his regressor about being a little baby

Crazily overprotective, will go to the ends of the earth to keep his regressor out of harms way

Falin Thouden: Flip (Regressor>CG)

Enjoys her and Marcille's headspace time together, usually they care for the other in regressed headspace

Very similar to Laois as a CG, but also needs her own regression as well

Cant help herself slipping into regressor headspace when her regressor is enthusiastic, but likes to be the big sister type

Isutsumi: Izutsumi

She doesn't know what regression is

Goes cat mode sometimes
