watching atla for the first time and why does sokka get the impractical jokers murr level punishment every episode?
GUYS LET ME COOOOK
an au where instead of jesus it’s Sal from impractical jokers, and his punishment of the week is to help aziraphale and crowley save the world. and it’s called “Impractical Omens”.
showing fish things they’ve never seen before part 1: the good omens finale poster
upon rewatching the finale, i’ve come to the conclusion that the human ending doesn’t bother me as much. it’s the lines that seem to be fully okay with the universe they fought to save come fully to an END. we could’ve gotten the original universe back without god’s influence somehow, it just feels heartbreaking to barely address that and just make a new one. the humans they bonded with, the world they loved, gone and it’s hardly acknowledged. to me THATS what feels out of character. human ending is fine but just letting our original universe end?
we don’t talk enough about how the final years of crowley’s life absolutely sucked. he was sleeping in an alley near aziraphale’s bookshop because he couldn’t bear to leave whickber street, his supply of miracles were switched off, he was depressed and had a drinking and gambling addiction, his beloved car was essentially stolen just so he could protect the bookshop, the love of his life left him and only came back when he needed his help and ADMITTED just as much to him and to make matters even worse, they only got to spend a day together before he was erased from existence entirely. anthony j crowley you deserved better.
muriel got erased in heaven scared and alone as they watched the world fall apart after aziraphale told them he believed in them to look after earth, with none other than an archangel who didn’t care abt them…btw.
Btw this is a great time to pivot to the Book Omens fandom where Crowley and Aziraphale will always canonically be alive and well and dining at the Ritz.
hi we are on the post apocalypse bus together can we hold hands
do u guys think in the new universe crowley has a mother that loves him…just a thought.
AN AU WHERE when Aziraphale gives Crowley the kiss on his finger, he's actually giving Crowley their MEMORIES
So when they have their first kiss in the new universe, they start to remember EVERYTHING
Like, the kiss was a container.... just like Beez did with Gabriel with the fly
GOOD OMENS | 2019 - 2026
CROWLEY KISSED (HIS FINGERS) BACK
I hadn't realized that on my first watch. My day is so much better now
Aziraphale reciprocated, Crowley understood the symbolism and kissed back ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹
That kiss is so them it's perfect
I ALSO NOTICED THIS AND ITS SO GOOOOD
Im feeling like a child on christmas eve but now im an adult with anxiety waiting for my gay immortals to become an us
The destruction of the entire universe and every soul in it is a truly depressing ending. Just because God replaced it with another universe that looked similar doesn't change anything - this is Job and his children all over again. Job doesn't want new children, and neither do I.
SPOILERS
after sleeping (for two hours) (and watching edits)
im at a really weird in between
i’ve come to the conclusion i don’t entirely dislike the ending it’s like a weird in between and i think it was supposed to be that way. they’re happy, they made a choice that made them happy.
would i have preferred it different, yes. but the more i look at it, i really dont hate it. i think it could’ve been done differently, however with the time limit that probably wasnt doable
You know this is the last thing we see. It's the actual ending. They're off on alpha centauri somewhere out there
THIS GENUINELY HEALED ME THANK YOU. BECAUSE THEYRE BACK TO THEIR NORMAL CORE SELVES HERE!!!!!
