Spiders? Hate them but see their use. Mosquitoes? Begrudgingly acknowledge that they like... feed bats. But can anyone explain what the fuck ticks are doing that's helpful??? Because frankly I'm not convinced they're doing anything nice for anyone
ticks are a massive source of protein for the many many creatures that eat them, same as mosquitos. they're integral to the food chain.
also, parasites of all kinds are incredibly important to ecosystems for many reasons: they help keep populations- especially of large herbivores and predators- low and healthy, they help individuals develop immune strength, and they are often integral parts of their food webs.
much of life is parasitic. it's a very successful life-plan and food strategy. dont hold it against them: blood is a really nutritious food and the creatures they target (generally) have a lot of it. it's not their 'fault' they have the capacity to carry even smaller parasites/diseases. that's just how life is
Deer is big creature, has microbe community inside it making it super good at digesting plant, turning plant into easy nutrients.
Small creatures would like nutrients. Deer is too big to eat, hoards all the nutrients. RUDE! Not everybody can be a wolf! Not fair :(
Tick bites deer. Tick takes tiny bit of deer's blood, falls off deer. Tick now contains deer's nutrients
Small creature eats tick. Nutrients in deer go into small creatures.
In this way, deer can become food for spiders, birds, lizards, beetles, ants. It couldn't happen without ticks. They are the portable snack packs of the forest
I think there's nothing wrong with being disgusted by parasites, it's just an instinct that evolved to stop little guys from taking all your nutrients.
And infectious diseases spread really easily by contact with blood, so the snack packs of the forest are also like public transportation systems for blood-borne pathogens.
But outside of your very understandable desire as an organism to keep your blood inside and pathogens outside, parasites are an amazing and thought provoking aspect of life's diversity.
Wild animals can have dozens of different species of worms and arthropods living on or in them. (Most big animal species even have their own parasites that can only live on that animal.) To the parasite, animals are worlds; a deer is like a planet inhabited by its own fauna, just like deer inhabit the landscape.
Isn't it awe-inspiring that you can go into a habitat and see animals inhabiting it, but each animal IS a habitat with its own animals...
And it keeps going! Parasites often have their own parasites, called hyper-parasites! And hyper-parasites can have hyper-parasites! How many layers of animal are there?!?
Parasites are symbiotic creatures that decrease the fitness of their partner, but "parasite=harmful" is not quite right, since parasitism interlocks the fates of organisms in complex ways. Sometimes a parasite has to spend the first part of its life cycle in one animal, and the second part in another totally different animal. How do they get there? Maybe the second animal eats the first one. The parasite needs this predator-prey interaction to happen to continue life! If the predator turns to other prey, the parasite can't live. But if the predator loses its other prey and has nothing to eat except that prey, well that might seem like a good thing except now there are 27 of you in the same predator's digestive tract, and the predator is now weak and struggles to hunt. If your host starves, you are all dead for certain!
Parasites in a situation with two hosts, one predator the other prey, sometimes might change the prey's behavior to make it easier for the predator to catch. This might be considered helping the predator. Is the parasite "harming" the predator or just taking a cut of the profits when it makes a kill? It's complicated!
Another way to do it is to be a parasite that lives inside a parasite that lives on the outside of an animal, and when the animal grooms itself and bites the ectoparasite out of its fur, the parasite living inside the parasite can now grow inside the host animal.
Parasites' impact on their hosts' behaviors impacts the whole environment! For example maybe a herd of deer likes to browse on the tender shoots down in the swamp, but they do not like the swarms of mosquitoes. By driving off the deer, the mosquitoes help the orchids in the swamp survive. If a bison wallows in the dirt to get rid of parasites, it creates a disturbance that gives rise to a little mini habitat for flowers that can't survive in the tall, less disturbed grass. If parasites make it unhealthy for animals to live crammed in a small area, they might be driven to disperse and move to new habitats, or to have a system of migrating from place to place. If a large animal is itchy and scratches itself against a tree and rubs the bark off, that might kill the tree, which is bad for the tree but great for the woodpeckers that need standing deadwood to hunt for food.
Speaking of woodpeckers, we have recently learned that woodpeckers transmit lichens and mosses to new places! And woodpeckers also were found to harbor freshwater diatoms...which should be found in freshwater streams, but perhaps got onto the bird when it was taking a bath...why does a bird take a bath? Perhaps to get rid of parasites...?
...Basically, everything is so interconnected that a flea could affect an unimaginable number of things. Parasites weave together the ecosystem in ways we barely understand.
Of course, you should still treat your dog or cat for fleas...but that's part of your symbiosis with the dog or cat, so even the space where a flea should be, is a space where organisms are bound together.
something I don't understand is why we make an exception for pathogens. if there's some intrinsic value in the current species of life on earth continuing to exist, why is it a good goal to eradicate a strain of bacteria? why are we excited that we're close to exterminating guinea worm?
With microorganism pathogens, they evolve so fast that we probably couldn't do lasting damage to the ecosystem. The extinction of a strain of bacteria is no more disruptive than any of the wild evolutionary stunts bacteria are constantly pulling.
Death is a neutral part of nature, even extinction is a neutral part of nature, and this isn't contradictory to the intrinsic value of life. Killing an animal is permissible under some circumstances, and that animal individually was a unique event in the history of the cosmos, it was a Life.
Destroying a species could also be permissible, but it would be the absolute gravest, most serious form of taking life. You would have to know what you were doing as fully as that could be known. I think these cases are mainly limited to creatures that are obligate human parasites, they have a relationship with humans and almost nothing else. That is a relationship we're allowed to terminate, because it is OUR relationship, there are no links in it that don't include us directly.
...What about flies? I've heard that they're basically useless, but I don't particularly believe that. I've just never been able to ask and find an answer.
Flies are important in all the ways mentioned above (biting flies in tundra are important for moving caribou from place to place, for example) but they are also really important as scavengers and as pollinators!
Maggots do a really good job at cleaning up rotting corpses, garbage and feces of animals quickly. Without them, our world would be full of a lot more poop and dead bodies, and that doesn't sound like a good or healthy place to live.
It sounds disgusting, but maggots even have an application in medicine to clean up dead and rotting tissue in a wound. The maggots eat dead flesh but won't touch the living flesh.
Flies are pollinators just as much as bees are, and they pollinate some flowers that bees don't visit. For a familiar example, flies are really important pollinators of mangoes. When you eat a delicious mango, a fly did that for you. Thank you, flies.
The past decade has been a roller-coaster. If that roller-coaster was on an unpredictable ocean.
To briefly recap: I was diagnosed as autistic at the beginning of my 20s, culminating in a long and often painful journey of self-acceptance. I had dropped out of college shortly before my diagnosis due to poor mental health. I entered a relationship with a boy I thought I loved, only to realize almost too late, it was slowly killing me. I didn't have a damn clue who I was.
But I knew WHAT I was: a scared and broken young woman who didn't even have a driver's license, a college dropout, angry at the world, angry at myself.
I didn't see myself living another decade.
I think the moment things shifted was when I ended the relationship. The world was suddenly brighter, I felt lighter. That gave me the courage to try and pick myself up. (The meds helped too.) I went back to college and got my Associates Degree. I conquered my fear of driving and got my license. I may not be in a relationship, but I know now what love is not. I'm still in college working on my Bachelor's Degree in marine science.
I've made many mistakes in my 20s. And that's okay. I've learned from them. I'll make mistakes in my 30s, and I'll learn from them as well.
Honestly, as I've written this, I feel better about starting the next decade of my life. I'm carrying what I've learned with me and I will continue to grow upon it.
This is my very first fic, and it’s all thanks to @ttlaugh for giving me this adorable idea. 🥹🫶
I really hope you enjoy it! 💕
English isn’t my first language, and I’m still learning, so I do rely on a translator sometimes. I know it isn’t always perfect, so I apologize if the grammar sounds a little off here and there. 🥺
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have fun! 🐰💜✨

“Three Seconds”
The living room was filled with laughter.
It had all started because Hoseok had found an old video from their debut-era practice days and decided to throw it on the TV.
The oversized clothes, the heavy eyeliner, the hairstyles, the expressions they used… none of them could’ve imagined back then just how big they were going to become.
“Look at that face!” Taehyung laughed.
“Wait, wait… rewind a little,” Jungkook said.
Hoseok did, backing the video up a few seconds.
On the screen, Namjoon was stopping rehearsal because no one would quit messing around.
“Again.”
Jungkook grinned and motioned for Hoseok to pause it.
“He still does the exact same thing.”
“What does he do?” Jimin asked.
“This.”
Jungkook got up from the couch and stood in front of everyone with his back to the door. He took a deep breath like he was about to give a serious speech, cleared his throat, and started pacing back and forth.
“Guys, enough. Guys, we need to rehearse… It’s not bad, but we can do better, guys.”
He paused at the exact same moment Namjoon had in the video.
“Jungkook, stop messing around.”
He finished the impression, and everyone burst into laughter.
That only encouraged the youngest to keep going.
“Let’s start over.”
It wasn’t just the voice—it was the tone, the little expressions, the way he walked. It was so ridiculously accurate that everyone was losing it.
“All I’m missing is the hair…”
Using both hands, Jungkook pushed his hair back the same way Namjoon used to wear it.
Then…
Silence
“What?” Jungkook frowned. “It’s not accurate?”
“Kookie…” Taehyung spoke carefully.
“But why? It’s funny.”
“Koo,” Jimin said again. “…Turn around.”
“Why?”
“My hair wasn’t that tall.”
A chill ran down Jungkook’s spine.
He slowly turned around with his eyes squeezed shut before opening them and offering the most innocent smile he could manage.
“Hyung…”
“Go on.”
Namjoon was leaning against the doorway with his arms crossed, wearing the calmest smile imaginable—which somehow only made Jungkook more nervous.
“…No thanks.”
“You sure? It was pretty funny.”
Jungkook laughed awkwardly.
“We were just having fun, hyung.”
“I noticed.”
Namjoon held up three fingers.
“I’ll give you three seconds to run, bunny.”
“…No… hyung…”
“One…”
Jungkook instinctively took a step back.
“Hyung, I’m not a kid anymore…”
“Two…”
His eyes went even wider.
“And—”
Jungkook bolted before Namjoon could even finish counting.
“Three!”
He was already laughing from anticipation as he sprinted down the hallway.
Unlike him, Namjoon followed at a leisurely pace, completely confident.
Jungkook ran to the only person he was sure would protect him.
Jin.
He burst into Jin’s room and slammed the door behind him.
His oldest hyung looked up from the laundry he was folding.
“What’d you do this time?”
“Shhh!”
Without waiting for a reply, Jungkook dove under the bed and curled up out of sight.
A few seconds later, Namjoon walked in.
“Have you seen Koo?”
“I don’t think so,” Jin answered.
Jungkook smiled to himself.
He’d actually gotten away with it.
…Or so he thought.
Without saying a word, Jin casually pointed underneath the bed.
Namjoon nodded in thanks, quietly shut the door as if he’d left…
Then suddenly grabbed Jungkook by the ankles and slid him right out from under the bed.
“Got you, bunny.”
“Jin!”
Jungkook gasped in betrayal.
“Thanks,” Namjoon said.
“No problem,” Jin replied.
“What do you mean, ‘no problem’?!”
Jin chuckled.
“I don’t like lying.”
“You don’t like protecting me either!”
“That too.”
Jungkook immediately tried to scramble away, refusing to accept his fate, but Namjoon caught him with ease and sat him down on the bed.
“Found you.”
“…It was a good impression, Nam!”
“It was,” Namjoon admitted.
“Then you shouldn’t punish me.”
“This isn’t punishment.”
“…Really?”
Hope lit up Jungkook’s face.
“No.”
“Jin!”
Without even looking up from the laundry, Jin answered calmly,
“Good luck.”
The next second, Namjoon lunged forward, making Jungkook burst into uncontrollable laughter that instantly filled the room.
“HYUNG! Hahahahaha, nohoho!”
“You always get away with everything. Not today.”
“HY-HY-HYUNG!”
Jungkook whined between laughs.
“Plehehease!”
Namjoon only smiled, continuing to tease him while ignoring his dramatic pleas.
“How many times do we have to do this before you start behaving?”
“N-Nohoho…”
“Tell me, Jungkook. How many?”
Jungkook’s face had turned bright red. He kicked his legs and squirmed all over the bed, laughing so hard he could barely breathe.
“You know…” Namjoon teased. “I’m starting to think you actually enjoy this. You keep finding ways to get my attention.”
Without warning, he switched to his ribs one by one.
The reaction was immediate.
His laughter doubled.
“N-Nohoho! That’s not truhuhue, hyung! Hahahaha!”
“Oh? Then maybe you just like being a brat.”
There was one spot that always completely melted Jungkook.
Right in the middle of his tummy.
Namjoon knew exactly where it was.
Whenever he needed the youngest to stop fooling around, that was always his target.
With one hand, he gently held both of Jungkook’s wrists above his head. Using just two fingers, he lightly teased that spot.
That was enough.
“HYHUHNG! PLEHEHEASE!”
“I can’t understand you, bunny. Use your words.”
“STOHOHOP! NOHOHOT THEHEHERE!”
“Not there? Then maybe here?”
Keeping Jungkook’s hands pinned above his head, Namjoon quickly switched to one of his underarms.
“NOHOHOHOHO!”
“Apologize, then.”
“I’M SOHOHORRY! SOHOHORRYY!”
The apology came out immediately.
Satisfied, Namjoon finally stopped and let him go.
Jungkook instantly curled into a little ball, still giggling under his breath while trying to catch his breath.
“So… are you gonna stop making fun of me?”
“…No.”
Jungkook muttered once he could finally breathe again.
He sat up with flushed cheeks and hopelessly messy hair.
The inspiration came randomly to me while i wasn’t able to fall asleep😅💐🤫 but, that aside, this is just a lighthearted, playful story.🪶I really hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it (even if i wasn’t able to sleep)🩷🤭🫶🏻

The dance practice today was just not it. Taehyung had been a total mess all afternoon. His feet did not listen to him, his timing was completely off, and during the final run-through, he had tripped over his own sneakers, colliding directly into Hoseok.
Hoseok, usually the patient dance captain, had simply sighed, crossed his arms, and called an end to the session with a quiet, "We're done for today."
The car ride back to their apartment was completely silent. Taehyung sat in the passenger seat, staring out the window, his chest tight with anxiety. As soon as the apartment door clicked shut behind them, Taehyung kicked off his shoes and tried to head straight for his bedroom to hide.
"Not so fast, Taehyungie," Hoseok said with an edge of authority. Taehyung froze, slowly turning around. Hoseok was leaning against the kitchen counter. A slow, knowing smirk was playing on his lips.
"You were a total disaster today, weren't you?" Hoseok asked, taking a slow step forward. "Missing beats, turning the wrong way... and then knocking your hyung flat onto the floor. Is that how we practice?"
"Hyung, I'm sorry," Taehyung mumbled, his eyes darting to the floor. "I was just tired-"
"Excuses, excuses," Hoseok interrupted softly, closing the distance between them. Before Taehyung could react, Hoseok grabbed him by the wrist and firmly guided him toward the living room, pushing him down onto the sofa.
Taehyung sank into the cushions, looking up wide-eyed. Hoseok straddled his lap in one swift movement, pinning Taehyung’s thighs securely. "Hyung? What are you doing?" Taehyung squeaked, a sudden spike of nervous energy hitting him. "You need to learn to listen to the count, Taehyungie. And since normal corrections didn't work today, I think we need a more... memorable punishment." Hoseok wiggled his fingers right in front of Taehyung’s face.
"You know what happens to dancers who can't do their part? We find out just how twitchy they really are." Taehyung’s eyes went completely wide. He was terribly, hopelessly ticklish, and Hoseok knew every single weak spot.
"No, wait! Hoseok-hyung, please! I'll do better tomorrow!" "Too late," Hoseok said. His hands descended like lightning, his fingers digging right into Taehyung’s sides, just above his waistband. "AHHAHAHAHAAH!" A loud shriek burst from Taehyung’s throat as he started to squirm.
He instantly tried to curl inward, but Hoseok’s grip on his waist was unbreakable. Hoseok’s fingers massaged relentlessly against his sensitive sides, dancing back and forth across the soft skin. "Look at you squirming already!" Hoseok teased, leaning down close to Taehyung's ear, his voice a playful rumble over the sound of Taehyung's explosive laughter.
"You couldn't move this fast in the studio, could you? If you moved your hips like this during the chorus, you wouldn't be in this mess!" "Hahaha-HYUNG! Nohoho! Stop, plehehease!" Taehyung wailed, his legs thrashing against the sofa. His face was already turning a bright, rosy pink. "Oh, we're just getting started Taetae," Hoseok mocked lovingly.
He slid his hands upward, his fingers tracing a path up to the area near Taehyung's armpits and across his ribs. He used a clawing motion that made Taehyung arch his back. "AGHHHAHHA! NOOO! NOT THE RIBS!" Taehyung screamed, his head tossing from side to side on the pillows.
"What's wrong, Tae? Is this too much choreography for you?" Hoseok laughed, his fingers scratching against the sensitive bones of Taehyung's ribcage. "You want me to stop? You have to ask nicely, but I don't think you have the breath for it. Let's see how you handle the real danger zone."
Hoseok drove his fingers straight up into the deep hollows of Taehyung’s armpits, walking his fingertips in rapid spider tickle. "EHEHEHEHE! HYUNG! NOHAHAHA! I CAN'T! I CAN'T BREATHE!" Taehyung shrieked, his arms flailing as he tried to guard himself, but Hoseok was too quick, keeping him cornered on the cushions.
"Wow, look at you," Hoseok teased playfully, his fingers moving with expert precision. “You're moving faster now than you did all afternoon. Why didn't you show me this energy during the chorus?"
Before Taehyung could even catch a breath, Hoseok’s hands dipped down, targeting the sensitive area of Taehyung’s hips. "AHHHHAHYAHA! HOSEOK-AH! NOOO!" Taehyung shouted, his body bucking as he tried to scramble away from the tickling. He was a laughing mess, completely losing the battle against his own reflexes.
"Did you just drop the 'hyung'?" Hoseok joked, his eyes bright with mischief as he continued the tickling on Taehyung's hips. "That’s a bold move for someone who's currently at the mercy of my fingers! You’re so reactive today, Tae. You're just a big ball of giggles!"
"I'm so-hahaha-sorry! Hyung, please! I'll be good! I'll focus tomorrow!" Taehyung begged, his voice cracking with laughter, his face flushed from laughing. Hoseok seeing the younger getting tired, finally pulled his hands back, moving on the end of the sofa and letting out a satisfied breath. "There he is. I knew the real Taehyungie was in there somewhere. You were so stuck in your head today, you forgot how to just move and enjoy the music."
Taehyung stayed sprawled on the couch for a moment, his chest heaving as he recovered. The anxiety that had been weighing him down all day was finally gone, replaced by the familiar warmth of their friendship.
He sat up, wiping away tears of laughter. "I just didn't want to mess up the team's flow," Taehyung admitted softly. "I kept overthinking every single step." Hoseok reached over, ruffling Taehyung’s hair and kissing side of his head. "Everyone has off days. The important thing is that you get back up and try again. But you can't do that if you're paralyzed by a mistake. Now, go get changed, and we'll get some dinner."
Taehyung nodded, heading toward the hallway. Before disappearing, he looked back with a playful grin. "Hey, hyung? Tomorrow, I’m nailing that choreo. But if you ever target my hips like that again, I’m hiding your favorite bucket hat." Hoseok laughed, his eyes crinkling. "It’s a deal. Now hurry up, I'm starving!"
No matter what you look like, Corbeau always looks at you like you’re a goddess.
But sometimes, you wonder why he even looks at you that way.. you’re far from perfect. Love handles, a muffin top.. stretch marks. You feel hideous.
(This is exactly what I look like and I’m insecure I’m not saying anyone with the same traits are ugly, YOURE BEAUTIFUL)
And one day, you made the mistake of telling your boyfriend how you thought of this.
“Baby, you haven’t touched your dinner.” He noticed you just playing around your plate with your fork, not really eating. “(Y/N)?”
“Huh? Oh.. Sorry, Beau. Just not feeling hungry tonight.”
He raises an eyebrow. He knew you were fibbing. “Who said something?”
“H-huh?”
“Who. Said something.” He repeated. “If anyone is making you feel like you shouldn’t be eating, I’ll kill them.”
Damn. He read you like a book.
You just look down. “I don’t think you want to kill me, Beau.”
He looks at you with pure shock. Taken aback, he stands up. “What??? (Y/N)… what are you-“
“You can’t think I’m beautiful, Beau. Look at me. I would look better for you if I simply eat less. I have issues with my weight, but… I don’t want it to be the reason you-“
He interrupts you. “Stop.” He leaves his seat and approaches you, making you rise from your seat.
You didn’t expect him to embrace you in his arms. “B-Beau…”
“Shhh… You stop talking about yourself like that. I won’t allow it.” He presses his lips to your cheek. “You are gorgeous in my eyes. You are mon ange.. *kiss* Love, how long have you been feeling like this?”
Your eyes start to water, you honestly didn’t feel like you deserve Corbeau. Why in the world would a handsome Kalosian loan shark boss look at you with such love? You felt like you were holding him back.
You start to whimper. You can’t even form out an answer. “I-I- …..” You couldn’t hold back your tears anymore, and cry into his shoulder. “Beau Beau…”
“Shhhhh… *kiss* None of that, now…” He coils his arms around you tighter. “I know I don’t say this enough, but… I love you, (Y/N).”
“B-But why?”
“Mmm?” He didn’t hear you.
“Why?”
He twists you around so you’re facing each other. “WHY? Damn it, (Y/N)… I don’t have all day to list why.” He winks. “I’d rather spend it kissing you.”
Your face turns crimson. “Corbeau, I’m being serious.”
“So am I. Dead serious. I’m not a man who lies. *kiss* You drive me absolutely crazy~” He says as he grabs you from behind, smothering your face in kisses.
“Hahahahah- BABE!” You squeak, falling into the sofa behind you as you’re unable to ward him off. “CORBEAU!”
He opens one eye, staring at you lovingly. “Yes? That’s my name~”
His hands slip under your shirt, and you shriek. Shocked, he draws them back, thinking he hurt you on accident.
“(Y/N), did I hurt you?”
Your face was blood red. “I- No- No. You didn’t.”
His eyebrow was raised once again. “Oh? Then what did I do?” He smirks, he wasn’t fooling anyone.
Uh oh.
“Are you… ticklish, mon amour?”
Fuck.
If you dared to lie to him, you’d be paying for it tenfold. (In tickles) So instead, you sat there in silence, as if that would help your case.
“Oh? Do you think by not answering, that means I’m not going to test it?” He asks, smug as ever. “Let’s add that to the list of reasons why I love you. And as soon as I hear that laugh… that too~””
God, he knew how to make you melt and turn your legs into jelly.
“B-Beau- d-don’t- AHAHEHEHE-!”
All he did was wiggle his fingers against your side for half a second.
“Corbehehehehau- wahahahait!” You were a pure giggly mess. Just knowing you were about to get tickled sent you into an anticipatory giggling fit.
“Oh, this is PERFECTION. I haven’t even started yet, mon amour.”
Before you could even imagine to protest, both his hands fly back to your waist, taking no time to tickle your sides.
“Nononononono- noHOHOHOHO!! BEHEHEHEHEHAHAHAU!!” You squeal, rolling back and forth trying to squirm away from him. “THAT TIHIHIHICKLES!!!”
“I would hope so, darling.. or I’d look foolish. And you know I don’t like to look foolish~” The devilish smirk on his face said it all. “Arceus, can you get any more cute?”
You try to push and shove him away, but he just gets closer, pinning you to the sofa you were sitting on.
“C-COHOHOHORBEHEHEAU!!!” You squeal, his hands delicately spidering up and down your ribs.
God, that smirk.
“Mmmm? Did you say something, precious? Sorry, I was distracted by the cute giggling I’m hearing.” He then tried out your stomach. “Ticklish here, perhaps?”
You let out a noise that some would mistake for an Aerodactyl screech. But to Corbeau? That was heavenly.
Oh, he was RELISHING in this. And he definitely noticed… you haven’t told him to stop yet.
“I’m not hearing a ‘Stooooooop’~” He coos, tickling your hips next.
“HAHAHAHAHAHAAH- CORBEAU!”
“Stiiiiiiill not hearing iiiiiiiiit~” He pulls you closer to his lap, then starts playing your stomach like a piano. “Something tells me that you like this, precious.”
You kick and wiggle trying to escape once more. “NOHOHO- BEAU!!! *snort* I HAHAHAHAHATE MY LAHAHAHHAHAUGH-!”
The loan shark’s grin grows bigger. “Nonsense, mon cher! Your laugh is so fucking cute~ I could listen to it all day.. In fact, I might!” He takes both hands away from your armpits and squeezes your thighs with them. “Don’t think I didn’t notice that cute snort. God, I’m falling in love with you all over again~”
“EEEK! NO-! N-NOHOHAHAH-“ You fall back into the plush couch, back against the seat as your boyfriend squeezes your thighs and calves. “THAHAHAHT TICKLEHEHEHEHES SOHOHOHOHO BAHAHAHAHAD!!! CORBEHEHEHEHEHAHAHAU!!!”
“Awwww..”
You have never heard this man “Awww” in the time you’ve been together. Even when seeing the cutest things around the city. EVEN BABY VENIPEDE didn’t make him “Awww” like he did with you. It made you blush (even more than you were already lmao)
“COHOHOHOHOHRBEHEHEAU!!”
“Yes, mon cher?”
You snort again. “EHEHEHENOUGH!!!”
“Ah, there we go.” With that, his devious hands let go of you, and allow you to finally gasp for breath. You still lay there on the couch, exhausted giggles take over. “All you had to do was say, Ange~”
You glare at him with a pout, which was hard to do since the giggling wouldn’t stop.
“I love you, (Y/N). You are the most beautiful person I have ever laid my eyes upon, and I mean that. You are STUNNING, and I can’t get enough of that laugh~ It’s… INTOXICATING.”
Hearing that from Corbeau really touched you. “Beau… please~”
“C’mere~” He orders, trying not to tickle you again while grabbing your waist, leaning back in the couch, ready for cuddling. “Let me show you further how much I adore you, mon ange~”
“Before that…” You start.
He looks at you. “Hm?”
“It’s your turn to pay ME back.”
His eyes look puzzled at you, wondering what you meant. But seeing the mischievous smile on your face, he knew, and his eyes go wide.
“(Y/N), don’t you DARE.” He put his scary boss face on, trying to look intimidating.
But you know him better than that.
Your hands slip through his fancy jacket, poking and tweaking at his sides. “Oh I dare~”
His head jerks to the side, not letting you see his face breaking.
“(Y/N)- St-Stop- AAH!”
He yells when you wiggle your fingers into his ribcage. That’s when the scary boss man of the Rust Syndicate broke.
“ACK- NO- AHAHAHAH-!! (Y/N)!!” It was his turn to fall on his back. “WAIT- NO- ST-STOHOHOHOHP!!”
Your grin was betting bigger by the second. “Nahh~ I like this side of you, Corbeau. I’m not done admiring it~” You say as your hands slip up to tickle his armpits.
“NO- SHIT-!” He busted out laughing harder. “NONONO-! AHAHAHAHAH- BABY PLEASE!!! NOHOHOHOHOT THEHEHERE~!”
You hop on top of him and pin his wrists over his head with one of your hands. The other darts underneath his arm.
“HAHAH- FUHUHUHUHUCK!! I CAN’T- I CAHAHAHAHAHAN’T—!” He squeals, tossing and turning his head. “BREHEHEHEHEATHEE!!!”
“Is this a certain boss man’s most ticklish spot?” You tease, spidering your fingers along the hollows of his armpit, your other hand struggling to keep his arms up. “How about the other side?” You coo, quickly switching arms to hold onto him and tickle. “Is the other armpit ticklish?”
You take your hand away from underneath his arm. But the other still keeps his wrists held up.
“Ha… hah.. heh..” He looks up at you with a sinister smirk. “You… you do realize.. you’re going to get it… when you let me go, right?”
“Mmm… so worth it.” You giggle, pressing your lips to his. “God, you’re so cute~”
But this made you lose your grip on his wrists.
“EEEEE!!” He pushes you off of him and he pins you back down, tickling your sides relentlessly. “AHAHAHA- BEHEHEHEHEAU!! AHAHAHAT LEHEHEHEAST LEHEHEHET ME FIHIHINISH KIHIHIHISSING YOUHUHUHU!!”
He raised an eyebrow in curiosity. “After the stunt you just pulled.. I don’t plan on letting you go for a while, mon cher~ I’ll be the one doing the kissing~”
He leans down, fingers still tickling your sides, and kisses your neck.
“EHEHEHE-! CORBEAU!! THAT TICKLES!!” You squirm, trying to push him away, but didn’t truly want to.
“Oh? Does it? Good.” He chuckles, pressing his lips to your neck multiple times while dancing his fingers along your sides.
“YOHOUHUHUHU’RE SOHOHO MEHEHEHEAN~!” You shriek, wriggling in his arms.
“Oh, you haven’t seen mean yet~”
He continues peppering kisses on your face and neck, then his hands go for your stomach.
“NO NO NO NO-! HAHAHAHAH- NOHAHAHAHAHT THEHEHEHERE!! IHIHIHIHI CAHAHAHAHAN’T STAHAHAHAHAND IT THEHEHERE!!”
He smiles against your neck. “Looks like you’ll be owing me a HUGE giggle debt, (Y/N). Are you ready to pay it off yet~?”
You both continue this laughter filled process all the rest of the evening. You’re both completely exhausted by bedtime. He lovingly carries you to bed.
How lucky you felt to have Corbeau by your side~ flaws and all~
OHHH okay!! Im gonna be so real, I almost forgot ZA existed lol! Can I request hot stuff, be mine, and cutie (if you’re able to do 3 in 1) with platonic corbeau and the reader, and specifically with him as the ler? He gives ler vibes and I’m so here for it!! -⚡️
{Candy Heart Prompts are officially CLOSED!}
FRIEND! :D Listen- full disclosure, confession time and all that: I've yet to meet Corbeau in the game. SO- if this reads OOC for him, bear with me! That said, Bulbapedia had some summary of who he is as a person, so I think the general vibes of it all works? I hope you like it all the same!
Hot Stuff: "Come over here and make me!" + Be Mine: "Oh that is IT! Come here!" + Cutie: "You can't hide from me. I can hear you laughing!"
Your heart was racing. You covered your mouth with both hands as you heard his familiar steps enter the office.
“(Y/N).” He spoke softly, dangerously. You struggled to mute your giggles as his feet approached. “You can’t hide from me. I can hear you laughing.”
A giggle escaped, and his legs came to a halt before the opening of his desk. Slowly, he kneeled down so he could peer at you beneath it, raising a dark brow as you burst into nervous giggles. “Found you.” He deadpanned. “Care to come out?”
“Cohoohme in here and mahahake me!” You shot back, grinning around your hands. An impressed look passed over his features then. You never were afraid to mouth off to anyone- not even the Rust Syndicate’s respected boss. Part of the reason Corbeau kept you around was because of how unnerved you were by him and his power.
That didn’t mean he was above using it on you, though.
“Come here.” He grabbed you by an ankle, dragging you out like a cat dragged from a blanket. You squealed with shock, sliding on your back until he was looming over you. “Looks like once again, I’m gonna have to remind you just who you’re talking to.”
“Cohohohorbeaahhau! Cohohorbeahaahau-ehehehahhahahahah!” You were laughing hysterically well before he touched you. A single hand finger walked up your torso, poking your belly before making a detour to your ribs. “Nahahhahhhaha! Dohohohoohn’t tiihihihihkcle meehhehehe!”
“Why not? It’s the only thing that words on a mouthy thing like you.” He chided, a hint of a smile in his voice despite his serious expression. He brought his other hand in, worming his fingers up both your sides and making you thrash about. Just barely you avoided hitting your head on the walls of his desk, making him pause.
“That won’t do..” He grabbed you by your belt loops and pulled you further out, taking a seat on your thighs. “Perfect.”
“Nohohoht peheheherfect! NOHOHOT PEHEHHERFECT!” You shrieked with laughter as he dug into your sides properly, fingers skillfully prodding into your tickle spots with past expertise. You shoved at his chest, slapped at his arms. At one point you’d successfully messed up his hair and sent his glasses flying. This was fairly light compared to the time you accidentally sucker punched him in the nose. “COHOHOHORBEEHEHEHAU!”
“Those were expensive, you know.” He tsked at his tossed away frames, flipping his fringe away from his face as he dug into your belly. You all but shrieked like a banshee, kicking the ground the best you could with him on your legs. “Luckily I own several pairs. With you around, I have too.”
“AHAHAHS YOU SHOHOHOHULD! EhAHHAHAAH! I’M NOHOHOT CHEHAP!” You cackled, arching when he pressed into your hips. “OHOHOKAY, OHOHOKAY STAHHAP!”
He did, and you gasped for air beneath him. His hands rested politely on your belly, poised with threat but unmoving. “Got anything else you want to say?”
“Ehehe…hehe..so-soohohhrry for throwing your glahahahsses.” You smiled sheepishly, face warming when he stared you down. “Ahahnd for chahahnging your rihihngtone to Sahhabrina Cahahrpehehenter.”
“Thank you. Next time, think before you act.” He stood up, retrieving his glasses from the floor with a huff. “Expresso is beyond overplayed. You could have at least picked something from her newer album.”
“How about Manchild? It’d fit you.” You grinned, then took off running for the hills when he shot you a look. You were gonna pay for that one, certainly.
I was having a really bad day, so I wrote something to make me feel better, it’s very specific, but I wrote it thinking about myself so…

You bit down hard on the end of your pencil. At that moment, your mind felt completely empty. No ideas came to you, no hope, not even a single thought. Well… actually, plenty of thoughts came to you, but none worth writing down. I don’t want to put the horrible things you were thinking about yourself here.
The paper on the desk in front of you remained blank, except for the parts where you had tried to erase something but hadn’t managed to completely, leaving gray graphite smudges behind that matched your feelings—completely gray.
Your job was just this. You were a visual artist and were preparing to produce a comic book! It was your dream! You would be working alongside a writer you admired and had already been hired, so all you had to do was start working!
If only it were that easy. You couldn’t control when creative blocks would hit, and the one you were having right now was absolutely destroying your mental state.
You banged your head against the desk, biting the pencil again. The page remained blank, now only decorated with a few small stains caused by your tears.
On the other side of your bedroom door, Taehyung pressed his ear against it while Yoongi leaned against the wall beside him.
“No music… she wouldn’t stay without listening to music,” the younger one sighed, crouching down, a weight in his heart just imagining what might be happening to you.
“She must be going through something,” Suga gently stroked his friend’s hair to keep him from getting too nervous. “Let’s go in, it’s okay, we’ll figure this out.”
Three soft knocks sounded on the door, and without you saying anything, it opened, revealing a worried Taehyung and Yoongi.
“Y/N/N, are you— ah—” Suga began, but his expression darkened even more when he saw the amount of tears escaping your eyes. Your chest rose and fell rapidly, your mouth was slightly open, and your eyes were wide as if you were frightened. You were having an anxiety attack.
“Hey!” V hurried to your chair and gently picked you up. You were shorter than him, and he lifted you, forcing you to wrap your arms around his neck and your legs around his waist. You hugged him tightly, your crying now muffled against his shoulder.
Taehyung exchanged an extremely worried glance with Yoongi, who frowned and gently rubbed your back.
“Shhh, shhh, it’s okay now, we’re here.”
V sat down on the bed, still holding you in his lap, and Suga sat in front of both of you, taking your hand and gently stroking it, knowing it would help calm you.
“I-I c-can’t!” You buried your red face even deeper into the singer, who lovingly stroked your hair.
“What can’t you do, Y/N?” Taehyung asked.
“I-I c-c-can’t draw— w-what I— w-what—” Your hands shook, your tongue felt numb, and you forgot how to speak.
“Shhh, shhh, no— you don’t have to force it like that.” Yoongi stopped you when you started stuttering too much. He looked at Tae, silently asking for help, for an idea…
“What if we sing a song for you? How about that?” V moved a strand of hair that had fallen onto your forehead. “We know your favorite song of ours, don’t we?”
“Coffee, huh?” Suga smiled slightly. “It’s nice to remember that one… how did it go again, Tae?”
The singer smiled and started singing:
(Translation) “Baby, baby, you are caramel macchiato
Still, your scent is sweet on my lips
Baby, baby, tonight
Baby, baby, you are warmer than café latte
Do you remember that cozy feeling?
Baby, baby, tonight”
Taehyung sang the chorus with his angelic voice, filling your ears and seeming to soothe your soul.
“And now… Yoongi-hyung!”
You couldn’t help letting out a small giggle at V’s enthusiasm and Suga’s slight embarrassment.
“Baby, tonight, sleep well tonight
Just the awkward flow between us
The first text and first call that flowed
The first meeting we anticipated, but why am I only
Biting my nails
Was it because of tension or nervousness
As time passed, naturally we signed
Not lovers, not lovers, with those words every day
We confirmed each other and engraved it in our hearts
Our first meeting was like caramel macchiato
Sweet wherever we went together
The desire to go anywhere together also faded over time
Like espresso, I had to let go
Uh, it hurts for no reason, uh, we were really good
Parting is a bitter Americano
Memories still go to that café”
Yoongi performed his rap slowly, gently, just the way you liked it, filling your ears and calming you even more.
“And what about you now, Y/N/N? Sing for us.” V smiled, gently squeezing your nose when you uncovered your face and looked at him.
“B-Baby, b-baby, you are c-c-caramel macchiato
S-Still, your scent is s-sweet on my lips
Baby, b-baby, t-tonight
B-Baby, baby, you are warmer than café latte
Do you remember that cozy feeling?
Baby, baby, tonight”
You smiled slightly, the notes leaving your mouth carrying away your bad feelings, all flying far away—exactly what the two men wanted them to do, go far away from you.
“Very good, your voice is beautiful, Y/N/N,” Suga said, placing a light kiss on your hand. “How do you feel?”
“Calmer.”
You were still crying a little, but a small smile had taken the place of your frown.
“That’s good~” V smiled. “Do you want to tell us what happened?”
You sighed, feeling the urge to start crying uncontrollably again just from thinking about your creative block, but you tried to focus on Tae’s hand stroking your hair and Yoongi’s light kisses on your hand.
“I’m having a horrible creative block,” you explained. “I can’t draw at all. Nothing.”
“Ah, that’s really awful, I know how that feels…” Suga sighed.
“You do?” you and V, who wasn’t artistic enough to get creative blocks, asked, somewhat surprised.
“Yeah, it happens to me when I have a really tight deadline to deliver a song. It’s like all the ideas disappear from my head and I become completely empty…”
Yoongi scratched the back of his neck slightly. It was a bad feeling for him too, and remembering it didn’t make him very comfortable.
“So am I like this because of the deadline?” you asked, squeezing the older man’s hand back to comfort him too, feeling bad about his discomfort.
“When do you have to turn it in?” Taehyung asked.
“In October.”
“In October?!” both men exclaimed at the same time. It was still April…
“Are you crazy, Y/N? The deadline is six months away and you’re like this?” V exclaimed, poking your stomach to scold you while you started laughing like a child at his exaggerated reactions. “You. Do. Not. Need. To. Be. Nervous!” He emphasized each word with a poke.
“It’s nohohohot my fahahault!”
“You’re worrying too much again, huh?” Yoongi smiled. “I think she deserves a punishment, don’t you, Tae?” He wiggled his fingers, slowly bringing them closer to his victim—namely, you.
“I completely agree~”
“N-Nohohohohoho!”
The younger man threw you onto the bed. He didn’t pin your arms down or sit on top of you. The two of them knew perfectly well that you would love this and wouldn’t try to escape anytime soon.
“Oh~ Y/N/N, you’re already laughing?” V laughed. You tried to cover your mouth, but your giggles kept slipping through your fingers.
“Plehehehease!”
“I think she really wants this~” the hyung teased, using one of his hands to finally squeeze your left side while the other gently stroked your ear.
Taehyung, who was sitting opposite the rapper, used one hand to scribble across your stomach while the other went straight for your lower ribs, squeezing quickly.
Suga was referring to the little tears caused by your laughter, and once again you found yourself with no way out.
“Then I think that to stop crying… she needs to laugh more!” V, without warning or asking permission, raised both hands and dug them into your ribs on both sides of your body.
You let out a scream that surely woke up all the neighbors, but it wasn’t your fault! It was Yoongi’s, because he started squeezing the insides of your thighs too! Your two weakest spots!
“AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! PLEHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHASEHE!”
“Does it tickle, Y/N/N? Oh~ what a shame. I guess you’ll have to endure it a little longer, huh?~”
“I think she infected me with all her sadness, Tae! I’ll have to blow my nose…” Suga slowly lifted your shirt.
The older man blew the biggest raspberry he could on your stomach, but that didn’t stop him from squeezing your thighs, because he didn’t stop!
“I want to blow my nose somewhere too, hm… what do you think about your neck, Y/N?” V grinned mischievously, burying his head between your shoulder and neck so you couldn’t protect yourself and covering you with kisses and raspberries, the kind that always made you laugh the hardest.
His hands obviously didn’t stop either, his fingers poking every space between your upper ribs before darting down to the lower ones, repeating the cycle endlessly.
“You’re so cute~ I could listen to you laugh all day, couldn’t you, Yoongi-hyung?”
“Definitely, Taehyung.” The older man smiled. He was happy to see you laughing like this and proud that the two of them had managed to make you feel better. “She’s had enough.”
The four hands and two mouths that had been making you laugh stopped, leaving behind only the pleasant tingling sensation that always lingered afterward.
Taehyung pulled you back into his lap, and Yoongi sat back down in front of the two of you, in the same position as when everything had started.
“Are you okay?” the singer asked.
“Yes,” you said, letting out a relieved sigh.
“That’s great. Don’t be so hard on yourself, Y/N/N. You’re human. There are many things you still won’t be able to do, but I’m sure you’ll overcome this, and we’ll be here with you.” Suga smiled, brushing a messy strand of hair away from your face.
“Thank you so much, hyungs.”
“You’re so cute!” V squeezed you in his arms, making both you and Yoongi laugh again.
As long as you were with them, you felt like you could do anything.
“How about we get something to drink?” the older one suggested. “What do you want, Y/N?”
“Well… all that singing made me want a latte…”
“Let’s go to a café!” The younger man stood up, pulling you by the arm while you laughed without any sign of stopping.
Hii,so i read a lot of fics that you make and they are really cute.Can uou make one where Bangtan plays a bottle game where the one that is chosen has to be tickled for 10 minute s.But SUGA is in his room not playing because he thinks this is too childish,but they convince him to play and he gets tickled?
Hi! I hope you don’t mind that I turned your request into the last chapter of my series! But what a cute idea! And thank you so much for the compliments.

“So, what’s the plan?” Seokjin asked, sitting on the living room floor like the others, except one…
“We’re going to convince him to play a game…” Hoseok smiled, rubbing his hands together mischievously.
“A game, huh?” Namjoon laughed. “And what exactly is this game?”
“We spin the bottle, and whoever it points to is the one who suffers the consequences.” Jimin laughed like a cartoon villain.
“And how are we going to make sure it points to hyung exactly?” Jungkook was a little worried about how the plan would work.
“When hyung gets distracted, and obviously he will, we turn the bottle toward him.” Taehyung moved his hands mischievously. “It’s the perfect plan, admit it!”
“I like that!” the maknae got excited.
“So you guys are going to convince him then? I want to see exactly how you’re going to do that.” RM crossed his arms.
“Obviously we have our methods.”
J-Hope, Jimin, and V exchanged knowing looks. They were the most likely to convince hyung to do something, that was obvious, so imagine the three of them together!
“Operation find out ‘how ticklish Yoongi-hyung is’ officially begins,” Taehyung announced, followed by squeals and celebrations.
~~~~~
“Hyuuuung,” Jimin's voice called from behind the door.
Suga was on his phone. There wasn't anything interesting to do, but he definitely didn't feel like doing anything complicated, and whenever any BTS member called him through the door, he was sure it was something complicated.
“Come in.”
Not only Jimin, but Hobi and V entered the room too. With those three, it was obvious to Yoongi that this wouldn't be anything good.
“Hm?”
“We're all downstairs, we're going to play a game!” Taehyung pulled hyung by the hand. “Come play too, you know it's not as fun without all seven of us.”
Suga sighed. “What game?”
“Spin the bottle.” Hoseok smiled innocently. “But it's not about kissing, of course.”
“What else would it be then?”
“Ah... since we all already know each other's ticklishness levels...” Jimin tried to look innocent, but Suga wasn't very confident about the idea. “Ah! Come on, hyung! It'll be fun. Don't you have fun with us?”
“What do you think?”
The three younger members put on the best pleading faces they could, hitting the one soft spot in Yoongi's heart.
“Argh, okay.”
“YAY!”
Everyone went downstairs to the living room, where they found the rest of BTS. Suga was a little suspicious of this game. He knew he was the only one whose ticklishness still hadn't been discovered, and that worried him a little.
Yes, he knew he was very ticklish, and it would be impossible to hide that fact forever, but laughing uncontrollably... being weak... showing a side of himself that he usually didn't show...
“So, what are the rules exactly?” Seokjin asked, clearly pretending not to know the objective of the game. He was a great actor, duh.
“We're going to spin this bottle! Whoever it points to will face the fate of... 10 minutes of nonstop tickling!” Jungkook exclaimed, already holding the bottle.
“You know you're going to drink your own poison with this game, right? You're going to make yourselves get tickled.” Yoongi raised an eyebrow. It wasn't that he was extremely suspicious; it really did seem like just a dumb game his friends would definitely come up with.
“But that's okay, because that's the fun part, Yoongz.” Hoseok smiled, patting his friend's shoulder since they were sitting side by side.
“Okay...”
“So... who's going to spin it?” Jimin asked.
“Our leader, of course.” Taehyung snatched the bottle from Jungkook's hands and handed it to RM, who placed it on the floor.
As the bottle started spinning, Suga let out a sigh. This was stupid. And what if it landed on him? How long had it been since anyone had tickled him? He grew up with an older brother, so he'd had that kind of experience, but nothing very relevant.
He lowered his head, partly out of embarrassment, but also to keep up his serious and tough-guy image.
The exact second he saw that the rapper wasn't paying attention, Jimin grabbed the bottle and turned it until it stopped in front of Yoongi. Jungkook covered his mouth to suppress a laugh, but Seokjin told him to be quiet already.
“Well... I guess we have our chosen one!” V exclaimed, making Suga lift his head slightly to see who the unlucky person in this childish game would be.
Ah... himself.
“This is t-totally stupid.” He crossed his arms, rolling his eyes and trying his absolute best not to let out a few laughs.
“I think someone is nervous!~” J-Hope moved closer to Yoongi than the others, fingers shaped like claws slowly making their way toward his body.
“Shut up.”
Namjoon moved behind the older member before he noticed, pulling him down onto the carpet while firmly holding both of his wrists against the floor. “Hey! Let me go right now! N-Namjoon!”
“Sorry, hyung.” The leader laughed. “The bottle chose you. I'm just its soldier.”
V grabbed his own phone and set a 10-minute timer.
“Come on, Yoongi-hyung… do you think you can’t handle it? Just 10 minutes?”
“O-Of course I can handle it!” Yoongi exclaimed. He wanted to keep up his tough act, but he couldn’t help blushing a little when all the others moved closer to him. “Get on with it already, I don’t have all day,” he huffed. Part of him strangely wanted them to start already, probably because he wanted to get it over with, or was it because he was excited?… no! It definitely wasn’t that…
Taehyung started the timer, and in just one second, he was the first to dig his fingers into hyung’s sides.
Sitting in front of him was Jimin, while Hoseok was beside the blond and positioned a little higher, around hyung’s underarms.
Seokjin was with Jungkook at his legs and feet, one across from the other.
When the tickling started on one of his sides, Yoongi’s mouth trembled a little, but nothing that could really be considered laughter.
But when his other side, his underarms, and his feet were attacked all at once, then he really started laughing.
“We can’t wait to find out his weak spot, we only have 10 minutes!” Jungkook lightly traced his fingers across one of Suga’s soles. “We need to find it fast.”
“Oh, how mysterious, Yoongi-hyung.” Jimin laughed. “But with that flushed little face, it almost looks like you’re loving this~”
The rapper’s eyes widened, trying his hardest to give Jimin a deadly glare, which completely failed because of the laughter pouring out of his mouth.
“Guys, I have an idea!” Hobi exclaimed loudly. He raised his hands so the victim could see them, then quickly brought them down like lightning toward Suga’s neck, making him let out a scream and try to protect himself as much as possible.
“You found it, Hobi!” Jin cheered, increasing the speed of his tickling on the man’s foot. “Now really get him.”
“Hohohoseheheok, I swehehehear—” Yoongi tried to hold everything in, but one hand on each side of his neck would be the death of him. “AHAHAHAHAHA OHOHOH MY GOHOHOHOD!”
“Oh~ so cute.” V teased him.
“What about here, Hobi-hyung?” Namjoon, who had one free hand since only one was needed to hold Suga’s wrist down, lightly ran his fingers behind hyung’s ear, but no one expected the reaction to be a scream and many, many more laughs.
“Oops, your attempt to scare us failed.” JK laughed.
“Aren’t you the cutest thing, hyung?” Jimin laughed. He was still tickling the older man’s ribs, lightly, but enough to cause even more laughter.
“NOHOHOHOHO! PLEHEHEHEASE!”
J-Hope lowered his head to blow a raspberry on Yoongi’s neck, and he desperately tried to hide behind his shoulder to protect himself, but it didn’t seem to help at all.
Everyone was attacking the rapper at the same time. Suga was far too sensitive for this, but while he was dying of embarrassment and blushing like a tomato, for some reason he wanted more, more and more, almost as if he really… liked it.
The alarm went off, and everyone stopped at the exact same second, leaving a Yoongi sprawled on the floor trying to recover all the air he had lost over the last 10 minutes.
“Ten minutes is a long time, huh?” RM laughed, but carefully released hyung’s wrists so he wouldn’t hurt him.
“Y-you guys…”
“So, how did the sensitivity ranking turn out, huh?” Jungkook interrupted, laughing. “I’m in last place, right?”
“Definitely not, Kookie.” Seokjin laughed.
After some discussion, which Suga didn’t participate in because he was still dying on the floor, they decided on BTS’s ticklishness ranking.
1. Hoseok
2. Taehyung
3. Yoongi
4. Jimin
5. Jungkook
6. Seokjin
7. Namjoon
“I don’t want to be first...” Hobi said, half-laughing in embarrassment.
“I wanted to be last!” Jungkook exclaimed, still insisting on the idea.
“That’s impossible, because you’re extremely ticklish, Kookie.” V teased, poking him in the ribs.
“But you’re more!” The maknae squeezed both sides of his friend, making him laugh and move away.
“And you, Yoongi-hyung, what do you think?” Namjoon asked, holding out a hand to help him up since he was still on the floor.
“I… am going to kill every single one of you…” he said threateningly. “Starting with you three!”
Jimin, V, and J-Hope let out exclamations and started running as if their lives depended on it, and in a way they did.
Jin, RM, and Jungkook looked at each other. They were the only ones left in the room.
“Well… I’m heading out too.” The maknae laughed.
“No, no, Kookie, I think you need to stay a little longer.” Seokjin grabbed him by the arm.
“I don’t think you’ve understood yet that you’re not last on the list.”
In short, the hours that followed were filled with laughter, screams, and snorts, and after so many discoveries, BTS would never live without tickling again.
Genre: tickle fic
Three days. Jungkook had waited three days to wipe that smug grin off Taehyung's face. He hadn't forgotten the humiliation of blushing like a tomato while Taehyung teased him about being a "needy little bunny who tickled his hyungs just for attention”. To be worse, Taehyung had proven his point by tickling Jungkook until he was a giggling, breathless mess.
Now, it was payback time.
The perfect opportunity struck on a lazy Wednesday afternoon. The other members were out, and Taehyung was sprawled on the living room sofa, completely absorbed in a game on his phone.
Jungkook crept across the carpet with the silent and careful steps. He didn't just want to tickle Taehyung; he wanted to make him pay for every single blush he had caused. At the right moment Jungkook launched himself forward. He pinned Taehyung's hips down with his own weight, effectively trapping his hyung against the sofa cushions.
"What the! Jungkookie!" Taehyung gasped, his eyes widening in shock as Jungkook snatched the phone from his hands, and threw it across the room. "Hi Taehyungie hyung," Jungkook purred, a wicked grin spreading across his face."Remember me?"
Taehyung immediately recognized the intention in the younger boy's eyes. He tried to twist away, but Jungkook was keeping him firmly in place. "Kookie, wait, let's talk about this-"
"Oh, we're past talking," Jungkook giggled, his fingers already hovering over Taehyung's sides. "Who's the needy little tiger, huh?" Without another word, Jungkook dug his fingers straight into Taehyung's ribs, just as Taehyung had done to him.
"AH! No! Hahahhahaahhaha!" Taehyung instantly exploded into loud laughter, his legs kicking frantically. He tried to catch Jungkook’s hands to guard his torso, but Jungkook used one hand to pin Taehyung's wrists above his head, using his free hand to scribble against Taehyung's side and stomach.
"You thought you were so clever, didn't you?" Jungkook teased, his fingers mimicking a spider crawling rapidly up and down Taehyung's ribcage. "Teasing me? Making me blush? Tickling me to prove a point?"
"I was ju-hahahhaahh-just stating facts! АНАНАНА! Stop, pleahhahaease!" Taehyung shrieked, his entire body writhing under Jungkook's tickle assault. His cheeks were flushing a bright pink, his head tossing from side to side as the tickles overwhelmed him.
"Oh, really? Facts?" Jungkook laughed, clearly enjoying the success of his sweet revenge. He changed his tactics, lightly scratching his fingers against Taehyung's armpit where he knew his hyung was most ticklish.
"AHH! STOP! НАНАНАНАA!" Taehyung squeezed his eyes shut, his laughter echoing through the room. He was squirming so much to find a way out of the playful grip. "I tahahhahake it back! You're not a needy bunny! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Apology accepted," Jungkook joked, though he couldn't help but laugh along. He slowed the pace down, just lightly tapping down Taehyung's ribs now, giving the older boy a chance to catch his breath.
Taehyung panted, a wide smile on his face, thinking the revenge was finally over. "Is that... is that all you've got?" Jungkook smirked, his eyes twinkling with a bit more mischief. "Are you asking for more hyungie?" Taehyung blushed at the question.
Jungkook smiled at his hyung’s cute state, leaning down to whisper against his ear, “I have one more spot that you really love.” He abandoned his hold on Taehyung's wrists.
Jungkook slid down the couch, trapping Taehyung's foot before he could pull it away. Taehyung already started to giggle and squirm.
"Wait, wait! Jungkook, no-АННАНАНА!" Taehyung's voice cracked into a high-pitched shriek as ten fingers spidered right into the sensitive arch of his sole. Jungkook scribbled his fingertips rapidly up and down the bottom of Taehyung's foot, tickling the highly reactive heel and scratching lightly into the tender spaces right beneath his toes.
"Who's the needy one now, hyung? Huh?" Jungkook teased, a smile plastered across his face as he watched his squirming hyung. "Who's the one getting taste of his own medicine hyungie?"
"I-I AM! АНАНАНА! I AM! STOP, JUNGKOOKAH, I CAN'T BREATHE!" Taehyung wailed. His entire body arched off the sofa. He twisted violently from side to side, trying to yank his leg away, but Jungkook's heavy grip kept his foot locked perfectly in place. Jungkook switched tactics to torture his Taehyungie hyung more. He slowed his fingers down to a light, fluttery touch right across the very tips of Taehyung's toes.
The sudden change in sensation made Taehyung gasp, his free leg kicking wildly in the air. "AH! NO, NOT THERE! HAHAHHAHAHA! JUNGKOOKIE, PLEASE!" His face was entirely flushed, his chest heaving as he tried to curl his upper body forward to protect his trapped foot.
"Say it," Jungkook demanded playfully, his fingers now dancing against the sensitive arch of Taehyung's foot. "Say 'Jungkook is the boss and I will never tease him again!'"
"J-Jungkook is... AHAHAHAHA! No, wait! HAHAHAHA! Jungkook is the boss! HAHAHAHA! I'll never tease you again! I swear!" Taehyung gasped out. Jungkook gave one final scribble right in the center of Taehyung's sole, before finally lifting his hands away. He slid off his hyung and plopped down onto the floor next to the sofa, completely satisfied with his revenge.
Taehyung collapsed back against the cushions like a melted puddle. He held his aching stomach, his toes twitching from tickling, while Jungkook just beamed up at him, looking like the happiest bunny in the world.
"You brought it on yourself." Jungkook teased. Taehyung sighed, a small smile breaking across his face. He shifted his body, and draped his arms over Jungkook's shoulders from behind. He buried his face into the crook of the younger boy's neck, inhaling the familiar scent.
"Fine, you won," Taehyung mumbled against Jungkook's skin, his voice muffled. "But my ribs and foot are going to be sore for a week."
Jungkook relaxed completely into the heavy warmth of his hyung. He reached up, tangling his fingers into Taehyung's soft hair, gently massaging his scalp. He felt Taehyung immediately melt against him, a sigh escaping the older boy's lips.
"Do you want me to apologize?" Jungkook teased quietly, his thumb tracing small circles behind Taehyung's ear. "No," Taehyung murmured, tightening his arms around Jungkook's chest, pulling him back against the sofa. "Just stay here. Don't move."
Jungkook smiled, his heart swelling with a cozy warmth. He didn't say anything else. He just held Taehyung's hands in his own, playing with his hyung's fingers while his heavy breathing gradually slowed to a calm, comfortable rhythm.
This is the tickle fic that I couldn’t stop thinking about and decided to edit and post here so we can enjoy it together🦋💐🤭🫶🏻 i really had so much fun writing this fic and i hope you are gonna like it!🩷✨🪶
Genre: tickle fic
Warnings: none
Taehyung was sprawled out on his stomach across the living room rug, his chin propped in his hands. His legs swung lazily back and forth in the air. Next to him, Jungkook lay flat on his back, staring up at the ceiling with his hands tucked behind his head. They looked so soft and unbelievably comfortable.
"Hey," Taehyung murmured, his voice a little raspy. "Hmm?" Jungkook shifted his head, to look over at him. "I was just thinking," Taehyung said, a soft smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "It's really nice right now. I'm just... really grateful. For everything. For the members. I missed this."
Jungkook's expression softened. He turned onto his side, propping his head up on one hand to look at Taehyung properly. "Yeah. Me too. I really missed all of this too." Jungkook continued. "But mostly, I just love that everyone is back to being their usual, chaotic selves. Yoongi hyung is whining again, Jin hyung is yelling, and the energy is just... back. Everyone is so playful."
Taehyung's smile took on a sudden, mischievous glint. He shifted on the rug, rolling onto his side to face the younger boy. "Speaking of playful," Taehyung started, his voice dropping into a teasing tone. "You've been a menace lately, Jeon Jungkook."
Jungkook blinked, a defensive but amused grin immediately breaking across his face. "What?What did I do?"
"Oh, don't play innocent," Taehyung said, wagging a finger at him. "You have this absolute inability to keep your hands to yourself. Specifically, you are always tickling whoever happens to be standing or sitting in front of you. Jin hyung can't even walk past you without getting poked in the ribs. Hobi hyung literally runs away from you now."
Jungkook let out a laugh, burying his face briefly in the plush carpet before looking back up. "It's not my fault! They're just... there. And they react so well. It's an open invitation."
"Is it?" Taehyung leaned in a little closer, a slow smirk spreading across his face. "Or... is it something else? Tell me, Kookie... do you just want attention? Is that your way of crying out for love?" Jungkook gasped, his cheeks flushing a faint pink as he laughed. "I do not cry out for love! Hyung! I'm the one giving THEM attention!"
"Mm, sounds like denial to me," Taehyung teased, poking Jungkook's shoulder lightly with a finger. "You look like a cute bunny to me. If you wanted my attention, you could have just asked, you know."
Taehyung's smirk widened as he watched the pink blush spread across Jungkook's cheeks. The younger boy looked everywhere but at Taehyung, suddenly finding the living room rug fascinating.
"Look at you," Taehyung cooed as he slid closer on the carpet, invading Jungkook's personal space just to tease him more. "You're totally blushing. I think i said the right thing, didn't I?"
"I'm not blushing," Jungkook mumbled, though you can see that he was lying by the way the heat crept up to the tips of his ears. "The heater is just high in here."
"Oh, the heater? Sure, Kookie," Taehyung laughed softly. He propped his chin back up on his palm, tilting his head to look up into Jungkook's face. "So it's just a coincidence that your face turns red the second I call you out for being a needy little bunny? You know, if you wanted a hug, or if you wanted me to pay attention to you, you could just say, 'Taehyungie-hyung, please look at me.' You don't have to go around poking everyone's ribs like a menace."
Jungkook let out a sound, half-laugh, half-groan, hiding his face entirely in his arms now. "I'm not a needy bunny," Jungkook whined.
"You totally are," Taehyung insisted playfully, leaning even closer until his shoulder was practically brushing against Jungkook's. He reached out and gently tapped the top of Jungkook's head. "A big, tattooed bunny who expresses his love by making everyone else suffer. It's okay to admit it. Your hyung won't judge you. In fact, I'm here for you now. You have my full attention. Are you satisfied?"
Jungkook peeked out from behind his arms, completely flustered. He bit his lower lip, trying desperately to find a witty comeback, but Taehyung's smug grin was making it impossible to think straight.
Jungkook quickly hid his face in his arms again, his voice coming out muffled but he was still being stubborn. "I'm telling you, i am not a bunny. And I don't poke people for attention. I'm just... checking their reflexes. Yeah." Taehyung let out a loud laugh at the ridiculous excuse. "Checking reflexes? Is that what we're calling it now?"
"Yes!" Jungkook insisted, finally peeking out from his arms again. His face was still incredibly flushed, but he continued. "I am a mature, independent adult. I don't need to beg for attention from anyone, especially not from you, hyung."
"Oh, really?" Taehyung asked.
Before Jungkook could even register, Taehyung's hand darted out. With perfect precision, he gave Jungkook a firm poke right in the sweet spot on his ribs. "Hyung!" Jungkook squeaked and flinched away, as he scrambled backward across the rug.
Taehyung didn't let him go away that easily. He immediately scrambled forward on his knees, closing the distance between them. He hovered just inches away, his hands held up in the air with his fingers wiggling in a clear threat.
"Don't you back away from me Jungkookie," Taehyung warned. "Every time you tell a lie, the penalty is tickles. And right now, you are lying through your teeth."
Jungkook was trapped between the sofa and Taehyung.. He kept his arms securely locked over his ribs, his eyes darting between Taehyung's face and those wiggling fingers. The flush on his cheeks hadn't faded at all.
"I'm not lying!" Jungkook protested, his voice squeaking slightly. "Hyung, back off! I'm warning you!"
"Oh, you're warning me?" Taehyung laughed, leaning in closer until Jungkook could feel the warmth of his breath. "That sounds like a direct challenge. Keep denying it, Kookie. Keep telling me you don't want attention, and see what happens to your sides. I know all your weak spots."
After hearing that with a sudden burst of energy, Jungkook scrambled to his feet, trying to run. But Taehyung already predicted the move. His arms reached out and securely wrapped right around Jungkook's waist, dragging the younger boy backward onto the rug before he could even take his first step.
"Oh, no you don't!" Taehyung laughed, pulling Jungkook flush against his chest so he was completely trapped. "Hyung! Wait, no!" Jungkook squealed, his voice cracking as he immediately started squirming.
Taehyung didn't waste a second. He started by targeting Jungkook's sensitive ribs and scribbling his fingers there. Jungkook instantly collapsed into a laughter, his legs kicking out wildly against the floor. "Ahahahhaha! Hyung! Stohahap! No hahahaha!"
"What happened now? You don’t enjoy my attention?" Taehyung teased. He shifted his hands upward, digging his fingers right into Jungkook's armpits.
He threw his head back against Taehyung's shoulder, his face turning a brilliant shade of pink as tears of laughter threatened to spill. "Not there! Taehyungie, plehahaease!"
"I can't hear you!" Taehyung said, completely unfazed by Jungkook's squirming. He moved his hands back down, kneading and squeezing Jungkook's sides, finding every single sweet spot that made the younger boy twist and whine. "Look at you! You wanted attention so badly, and now you're getting all of it!"
Jungkook was laughing so hard, his hands desperately trying to stop Taehyung's or to pull them away, but he was too weak from the laughter to break the hold. To mix it up, Taehyung suddenly slid his hands down to Jungkook's hips, giving them a lot of squeezes.
Jungkook let out a loud gasp, instantly squirming more from the unbearable sensation. "AH! No, no! Anything but hahaahere!"
"Oh, so the hip are a no zone?" Taehyung laughed, returning his hands to Jungkook's ribs to keep the tickle attack going. He leaned close to Jungkook's ear, his voice full of playful affection. "See? This is what happens when you don't just ask your hyung for love. Are you ready to admit you're just a needy bunny yet?"
"Ohahahakay! Okay!" Jungkook wailed, his entire body trembling with laughter as he tried to shield his sides. "I'm a needy bunny! Just stoahhahahap!"
Before letting him off the hook, Taehyung gave Jungkook’s sides a few squeezes for good measure. "Ahahaha! Hyung, wait!" Jungkook shrieked, twisting frantically against the rug.
Taehyung finally stopped, letting his hands rest flat against Jungkook's ribs without any more wiggling. Jungkook collapsed back on Taehyung’s chest, puffing out a huge breath of air.
Taehyung chuckled softly, his expression melting into pure affection. He rested his chin on top of Jungkook's head, squeezing him tight. "There. See? Was that so hard?"
Jungkook hid his face right into Taehyung's chest. For a moment, the room was quiet again, save for the sound of Jungkook's breathing slowing down.
"Fine," Jungkook mumbled, his voice tiny and completely muffled against Taehyung's shirt. "Maybe... maybe I was just asking for attention." Taehyung smiled, gently rubbing Jungkook's back. "I knew it."
"I was just shy to admit it, okay?" Jungkook said softly, his face turning an even deeper shade of pink against Taehyung's chest. "Everyone has been so busy, and it's nice to just... play around again."
"You are so cute Kookie," Taehyung said softly, squeezing him a little tighter. Jungkook wrapped his own arms around his hyung's waist to return the embrace fully. "Next time, I'll just ask” Jungkook whispered softly.
A hundred different scenarios of how you would feel after you told the boys that you enjoyed being tickled had gone through your head. Losing your lee mood and feeling unsettled by receiving tickles was not one of them.
Maybe it was because you hadn’t exactly approached them when the time to tell them came. You hadn’t come to them on your own accord; the admittance was rather coerced out of you after the boys noticed something was bothering you. You didn’t hate them or blame them for it, however.
If they hadn’t heard you crying that night and Jimin never came in to console you, you weren’t sure when you would have ever told them. The prospect of telling them never crossed your mind throughout those two weeks; you were certain you could’ve ridden out the depression you faced due the lack of tickles you had received, just like you had always done.
You had received tickles from them each day since that night—the night where you finally broke down and told them—and you weren’t exactly complaining. You loved the constant barrage of pokes to your tummy, tases to your sides, feathery fingers to your neck, and tickly kisses to your face. Those were acts of affection you had always welcomed from them, and it seemed that it was being multiplied now that they discovered how much you truly loved it.
However, something was nagging you deep down, like a dull splinter at the bottom of your foot. Each time they tickled you, you felt a pang of discomfort—a mix of shyness, embarrassment, and shame. Due to these feelings, your lee mood was nonexistent. It wasn’t exactly because they were tickling you so much that it didn’t leave room for the desire for tickles, it was because you felt exposed now that they knew.
Almost a week had passed since that night, and the boys—especially Namjoon—kept asking you when you would like to sit down and talk about why you enjoyed tickling in depth.
“Let’s talk about it more later—or maybe tomorrow, okay?” He whispered in your ear, not wanting to overwhelm you. “And if you want, it can just be you and me so that it’s not as scary. I can extend the knowledge to them if it’s too intimidating for you.”
You had been putting it off, and you were certain that you’d run out of excuses by tomorrow. The first couple days were understandable. The boys had a lot more work to catch up on than they realized and Namjoon thought it was best to set aside time to truly be intentional with the conversation, rather than squeezing it in between schedules. It was important to him, as well as to the rest of the boys; it wasn’t a discussion to be rushed. He had asked you if the next day would work, and you agreed.
However, the next day—wanting to avoid it still—you spent the majority of the day shopping and eating out with a few friends. You came back so late that the conversation wasn’t worth having. Thus, the boys had asked you if you could have the conversation the following day. You agreed, but you were already planning something to delay it. When you woke up that morning—yesterday—you claimed that you weren’t feeling good. Luckily for you, the boys bought it, and in turn they thought it was best to push the conversation to the next day when your head wasn’t feeling so cloudy. Today, you didn’t know what you could tell them to put it off again.
Sitting down to talk about it would make it real. It would emphasize that the boys knew. It would make your fantasies of being tickled by the people you loved the most a reality. You would have to admit certain details out loud, things you barely even repeated to yourself. There was also the underlying fear that if you went into those details, the boys would judge you. They would be finding out more than just surface level I highly enjoy being tickled information.
You had always thought that you would feel happy and relieved after telling them. You truly were at first. You assumed your lee mood would be off the charts. Yet, now that you had settled with it, you felt uncomfortable.
They now had access to a side of you that you had kept hidden for as long as you could remember, and that reality was daunting. Furthermore, you felt as if you had given them a chore rather than another form of affection to work with. You didn’t want them to feel like they had to tickle you. But you wanted it so badly. The conflicting messages in your head were eating at your brain.
Waking up on day five, you rubbed your eyes with your palms as if the action would scrub away the jitters you were experiencing. You felt on edge. Would any of the boys tickle you today? Would they ask you if you could finally sit down and have the conversation? Maybe if you didn’t bring it up, it would slip from their minds.
At the sound of your phone vibrating on your nightstand, you opened your eyes and reached for your phone.
10:32am. A calendar alert. A few Instagram notifications. A text from Namjoon.
Joonie: You up?
You sighed, debating whether you should go back to sleep and pretend to be sick for another day. But you knew the boys weren’t stupid; they’d notice that you were faking, and they would realize that you were stalling the conversation if they hadn’t already.
Suddenly, you heard footsteps approaching your room. Quickly sliding your phone under your pillow, you tugged your bedsheets up so high that they nearly covered your nose. If you pretended to be asleep, you could delay your dilemma a little longer.
You groaned internally as you heard your bedroom door open, praying that whoever was at the door would see you cuddled up in your sheets and go away. But, the footsteps came closer, and a hand was shaking your shoulder with the intention of waking you up.
So much for pretending to sleep, you thought.
“Babyyy,” Taehyung said softly. “Wake up, darling.”
You whined. To Taehyung, it seemed as though you were annoyed with being ripped out of your slumber. But in reality, you were bothered by the fact that you’d have to get up and face the day.
You turned to face Taehyung, and he giggled at your pout. “Good morning, sleepy girl.”
You squeaked at his affection, tucking yourself deeper into the blankets and making him coo. “Are you feeling better today?” He put his hand to your forehead. Obviously, you didn’t have a fever the day before, but Taehyung wanted to make sure your health wasn’t declining. As far as you knew, all of the boys fell for you not feeling well yesterday and were under the impression that it wasn’t serious.
When you didn’t respond, Taehyung removed his hand from your forehead and switched to running his fingers through your hair instead. “Well, you don’t feel warm. You okay, darling?”
You inhaled deeply, reluctantly rolling away from Taehyung’s touch as you stretched. “Just tired.”
Taehyung hummed. “I can see that. You’re sleeping in kind of late, huh? We were worried you weren’t feeling good still so I wanted to come check on you.” He cupped your cheek in his hand and caressed it with his thumb. You resisted the urge to melt into it and fall back asleep right there.
“I’m okay, baby,” you reassured, not only trying to convince him.
“Okay, darling. Jin hyung and Jeongukkie are making breakfast, so come down when you’re ready.” He pinched your cheek affectionately and got up, but not before playfully sticking a finger in your ear. Your heart plummeted into your stomach as you squealed from the ticklish sensation.
Taehyung practically skipped to the door, amused by your reaction. “Oh, and Namjoon hyung wants to know if we could talk to you later. I’ll let him know that you’re awake.”
Your heart sunk further into your stomach, nagging at your intestines. It must have shown on your face, because Taehyung was quick to console you.
“It’s nothing bad, darling! It’s just about the t-words, that’s all.” He shot you a reassuring smile before exiting the room.
Oh, but that was bad, and Taehyung had no idea. None of them knew how much having this conversation was bothering you. There was no escaping it today. You couldn’t prolong it any longer.
Reluctantly, you got out of bed and dragged yourself to the en suite bathroom to do your morning routine. You took longer than usual, putting off having to face the boys as much as possible. Then, you made your way to your closet. You chose a pair of black lounge shorts that had seen better days due to you from wearing them so much, and then an over-sized black t-shirt you stole from Jungkook. If you were going to be uncomfortable you might as well dress comfortable. Deeming yourself acceptable in the mirror, you made your way downstairs.
As you entered the kitchen, you noticed Jungkook and Jin at the stove while the rest of the boys were sitting at the table. You made your way over to the empty seat at the end which was beside Yoongi, who was sitting at the head of the table; you decided in a split second that he would be the least likely to find a way to potentially tickle you right now. At the same time, you were definitely setting yourself up, because Jimin was right beside you and Namjoon was across from you.
Sensing your presence, Yoongi looked up from his phone and gave you a small, warm smile. You forced one back.
“Morning, sunshine,” Hobi said cheerfully from across the table.
“Morning,” you breathed out, taking advantage of you needing to scoot your chair in to avoid looking at him.
“How are you feeling, baby?” Jimin asked. You tensed up as he massaged the back of your neck, the action unintentionally tickling you. You didn’t want to give into the reaction, partly out of embarrassment and partly to not bring attention to the t-wording topic.
“I’m better today,” you replied, trying with immense difficulty to not make your voice sound strained.
“Good.” You relaxed when his hand left your neck.
“Let us know if that changes,” Taehyung chimed in from beside Jimin.
You responded with a chipper hum, wishing deep down that they would stop talking to you. You were on edge, every sound and every touch bothering you. You wanted your seat to swallow you whole as Namjoon spoke.
“Should we talk about it after breakfast?”
You couldn’t bear to look at him, opting to stare at his shoulder instead. You were slightly annoyed by his question, finding it quite rude that he didn’t at least say “hello” or “good morning” first. You took a deep breath, beginning to fidget with your fingers in your lap as your mind raced to come up with another excuse.
Can’t, I have to leave and meet up with so and so right away.
Can’t, I actually don’t feel good. I’m going to go back upstairs and lay down for a bit.
Can’t, I have an appointment with my therapist at 12 o’clock so I really have to rush out of here.
Glancing at Namjoon’s face, you realized he was waiting for a response.
“Sure.”
You shrank in your chair, crossing and uncrossing your legs as you felt Namjoon’s eyes lingering on you.
“Do you… do you want to have that conversation with all of us or just me?” His voice became quieter as if he sensed how uncomfortable you were. He treaded carefully, not wanting to scare you away or offend the other boys if you wanted to have a one-on-one conversation.
I don’t want to have that conversation at all, you thought to yourself.
“All of you is fine,” you said, voice unnaturally high.
“Okay, baby.” Namjoon gave you a soft smile, but you couldn’t return it.
“Here you go, darling,” Jin said softly from behind you, maneuvering his arm between you and Jimin to place a bowl of heukmi bap in front of you. Jungkook came around the table to set several plates of banchan down, making sure to place a kiss to the top of your head when he passed you.
You split the fried egg Jin had topped it with using your spoon, watching the yolk trickle onto the purple rice. Your jitters were causing you to feel queasy, so the idea of eating was not very appealing to you.
Everyone was being so gentle with you, so you felt bad for being irritated and short with them. It was as if you convinced yourself that the anger festering inside you would protect you from what felt like impending doom. You played with your food, mixing the bits of egg and rice around in your bowl rather than putting a spoonful in your mouth. You were stubborn—not eating was an act of resistance against the boys for simply checking up on you. It was easier to be angry than to break down your walls and be vulnerable with them. It was easier to blame them for a misdeed that you irrationally made up than to admit your insecurities and shame for wanting to be tickled.
“Sorry for bringing it up right away, baby girl,” Namjoon spoke up, as if he read your mind. “I just wanted to finally talk to you about it because it kept getting pushed back. I didn’t want you to think we didn’t want to learn more about it, otherwise I feared you would feel judged by us. I can tell it’s been bothering you and I think you’d feel better if you finally got it all out in the open, yeah?”
You nodded, then hung your head in shame, feeling slightly guilty for your irritation toward him before. “I understand, Joon.”
He placed his hand on the table palm-up, offering it for you to hold. “There’s nothing to be afraid of, jagi. I promise.”
“Okay,” you said quietly, accepting his hand. You wanted to believe him. It just seemed too good to be true.
⋆⋅☆⋅⋆
After breakfast, the eight of you filed into the living room. You plopped down on one of the couches, sinking into the corner as you brought your knees up to your chest. Namjoon sat next to you, with Jimin beside him. Hobi and Jin sat on the other couch with Taehyung in tow—before he changed his mind and snuggled up to Jimin instead. Yoongi made himself comfortable on an arm chair while Jungkook plopped himself on the floor in front of you.
Namjoon spoke up before the silence became smothering. “Before we start, jagi, I just want to put it out there that no one is judging you here. Anything you say will be heard and acknowledged with an open mind.” When you nodded, Namjoon continued. “It’s natural to feel nervous, baby. I can tell that you are. But it’s alright, baby. You’re safe here. We have a few questions—purely from curiosity—but we’re not going to judge you no matter the response.”
Your eyes seared into your knees, wanting to focus on anything but the attention being put on you. The situation was so overwhelming. You knew you were dreading it, but you didn’t expect to cry in front of them, especially when you had been feeling so angry during breakfast. You had already told them bits and pieces, so why was it so difficult to tell them more? None of the boys made you feel judged thus far, so you couldn’t pinpoint as to why you thought any of them would now.
“I’m scared,” you trembled, wiping a tear away.
“Oh, baby,” Jungkook cooed from the floor, reaching up to rub your ankle.
“Hey, hey,” Jimin soothed from beside Namjoon. “Don’t cry, baby girl. It’s okay. You’re okay.” The inflection after each of Jimin’s reassurances comforted you, demonstrating his unbounded patience.
“What are you scared of?” Namjoon asked, putting a steady hand on your thigh. He caressed his thumb across your skin as he waited for a response.
“I’m scared you’ll think of me differently. I don’t want you to think I’m weird once you know more. Obviously I haven’t told you everything so you just don’t understand how deep this goes.” Your breath hitched as you tried to compose yourself between words.
“Baby, look at me,” Namjoon directed gently. “I need you to know that we love you so much. Nothing you do or say will ever change that. Nothing.”
“I’m sorry,” you replied, wiping a couple more tears away and sniffling. You didn’t want the boys to think that you were doubting their love and affection for you. You wanted to trust them, but that trust couldn’t be built over night when you spent years believing that you had to be ashamed and that anyone you told would turn you away.
“You don’t need to be,” Hobi reassured softly.
Resting your hands on your knees, you took a deep breath. “I don’t really know how to start, so, what would you like to know?”
The boys looked around at each other, wondering who should speak first. Namjoon however, knew that he should take the reins. He was the one who suggested you sit down and discuss the topic in the first place, and he determined that having one person do most of the talking would overwhelm you the least.
“When did you first realize that you liked being tickled? Or t-worded, I should say. Do you want us to say ‘t-word,’ baby?”
You giggled shyly, making all of the boys relax. That was the first glimpse of joy they had seen from you all morning. It gave them hope that you would break your walls down and be vulnerable with them.
“You can say the word. I personally can’t. I’ll get to that later.”
Namjoon smiled at you, fond of your predicament and happy that you were being transparent and honest.
“For as long as I can remember, t-wording has always been a focus in my mind. When I was little, I would often ask for someone to t-word me. Of course, when you’re a child, you can get away with those questions and little me didn’t think much of it.”
A few of the boys hummed.
“Looking back, I can see how much I enjoyed it more than most kids,” you continued. “I started noticing when my family members would t-word me beyond the usual times when they would do so simply from playfulness or as part of a game. For example, if I nuzzled into my uncle’s side a certain way, he would keep me trapped against him and t-word me until I rolled away. I would keep doing that until he didn’t do it anymore and just let me sit against him. I remember getting disappointed every time he stopped.”
You let out a pitiful laugh for your younger self. “Obviously, being so young, I didn’t realize the significance of it. I just knew I wanted someone to t-word me. When I got older, I realized that me wanting to be t-worded so much wasn’t exactly common. I started getting curious. Curiosity turned into shame. I started getting—I don’t know—secretive.
“I remember being so fixated on just the word. I would look up the word in dictionaries and just read it over and over.” You groaned, realizing how strange you must have sounded. “I would get incredibly paranoid, feeling like that someone was watching me and I would get in trouble. I felt like I was doing something bad.”
“Why did you think it was bad, baby?” Taehyung asked, genuinely astounded that younger you would develop a fear over something so innocent.
“Because, I started…” You didn’t know if you wanted them to know this. “It went beyond just looking it up in the dictionary. I started looking up t-wording scenes in movies and TV shows. It’s weird, I know.”
“Well, I think I understand why you were doing that though, baby,” Namjoon sympathized. “Like you said, you were fixated on it. You weren’t getting it as much and you wanted to see it. You were in puberty, and just like all adolescents, you were curious with somewhat unrestricted internet access. Watching it was the closest thing you could get to experiencing it.”
You bit back a smile, thankful that he was connecting the dots. It didn’t feel like you had to rationalize to save yourself. Namjoon was truly understanding and searching for realistic explanations and comparisons to your experiences.
“I don’t know, it was more than that. I thought it was bad because when I would watch a friend get t-worded, they would get so defensive and annoyed and plead for the other person to stop. Even though I was shy and would tense up, I would enjoy watching it. I remember wishing that it was me being tickled or that they would attack me next. If they didn’t, I would get disappointed. I started thinking that if my friend hated it so much—if everyone hated it so much—why did I want it so badly? Was I a freak? Was I a bad person for wanting to be t-worded and being obsessed with watching it?”
Several of the boys cooed, disagreeing with the view you had of yourself.
“Sweetheart, you’re not a bad person for that, okay? You never were.” Jin lifted his eyebrows, showing you that he meant business but his eyes had a softness to them. “Everyone has their own interests, and yours just happened to be tickling. There are millions of people out there with unique interests. Are all of those people bad just because they’re different?”
“No,” you mumbled.
“There you go, darling,” Jin said. “You’re not a bad person just because you’re different. Society convinces us that everything that’s different is bad, but that’s not the case. Does that make sense?
“Yes, Jinnie,” you agreed sheepishly.
“What else?” Namjoon asked, his thumb on your thigh still moving.
“My paranoia didn’t just come from the fear of being seen as bad. It goes back to the shame of wanting something that kids ask for. I thought that I was childish and immature and I didn’t want people thinking I couldn’t grow up.”
“Which you’re not,” Hobi interrupted, wanting to shut down any further negative perceptions you had of yourself. “And tickling isn’t just a thing for kids, baby. Young adults, and even partners well into their adulthood tickle each other as a form of affection, right?”
You nodded, thankful for the reminder. “Besides those fears of being viewed a certain way, I was just so scared of people knowing that I liked it in general. I remember getting scared that if I watched my friend getting tickled for too long or even looked away then they would figure me out. It was hard to act natural, to give nonchalant glances. The same went for t-wording scenes. If I was watching a movie and someone was getting t-worded on screen, I would just freeze and get so scared that the person I was watching it with would notice.”
“If it helps, we never noticed,” Namjoon assured. “I don’t think you realize how much of an effect your paranoia really had on you, baby. Your shame made you believe that people were perceiving you much closer than they actually were.”
You shifted in your spot on the couch. You had never thought about it that way.
“That’s about the time that I realized that I couldn’t bear to hear the word out loud. That’s also when I realized that I couldn’t bring myself to say the word out loud. It just made me feel so uneasy. But it also just depends on who’s saying it, how it’s said, and when it’s said. Hearing it come from a family member makes me want to shrivel up. But hearing it from you guys, I’m not as shaken up. Unless you tease me when saying it, then I get all squirmy… in a good way.”
“That’s so cute,” Jungkook giggled. Namjoon shot him a look, fearing I would retreat. But, Jungkook only giggled more when I started giggling with him.
“You really think so?”
“I know so.”
“What else do you want to know?” You could feel yourself blushing as you asked, cheeks and ears heating up at Jungkook’s affection. You had to move on, or else Jungkook could sit there cooing at you all day.
“How did you deal with not being tickled?” Hobi asked. “I mean, as a kid, you could kind of get it when you wanted, right? But like you said, when you got older, it didn’t come as easy.”
“I didn’t always cope with it well. At least not fully. It was so hard. Last week is the perfect example. I would get so depressed and irritable. It’s like being touch-starved. I wasn’t getting the connection that I needed to feel loved and cared for. The best I could do was look up videos, like scenes in movies or TV shows. Then, as I got a little older…”
“It’s okay, baby girl,” Taehyung piped up. “This is a safe space, remember? We’re not going to judge you for how you dealt with it.”
“Well, I started needing something more immersive, if that makes sense. I discovered fanfiction. I would read t-wording fanfics of my favorite characters t-wording me…”
You scoffed, putting your head between your knees to hide from their eyes. To admit the kind of fanfiction you read was almost as embarrassing as admitting that you enjoyed being tickled.
“Sweetheart, look at me,” Yoongi said gently, but slightly firm. Yoongi being across the room made facing him a little easier. So, when your eyes peeked out from your knees, Yoongi continued. “That’s nothing to be ashamed of. You used any resources that you could find to substitute what you were missing. I think that’s a healthy way of dealing with it, especially considering how low your mood would get if you didn’t get tickled for a while. You could have turned that anger, irritation, and sadness into violence. You could have lashed out on people, but you didn’t. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say fanfiction was a catalyst for journaling, which is a revered coping mechanism, wouldn’t you think?”
“Yeah,” you agreed softly, feeling comforted by his perspective. “It was so hard dealing with it. I honestly don’t know how I functioned before I met you guys. You guys t-word me a lot.” The boys chuckled around you, making butterflies erupt in your stomach. “I think it was easier to deal with back then because I got used to not being tickled for so long. I kind of forgot how it felt and how nice it was to be t-worded. I think when I met you guys, the desire to be t-worded grew because I got the feeling back. And I was being t-worded properly and for extended periods of time. I just wanted more of it. I already said this to you guys, but I think that’s why I got so depressed last week. I was so used to getting something I enjoyed, but when it was taken from me, it took a toll on me.”
“Can we ask you something else, baby?” Namjoon shifted his body so that he faced you better, then placed a soothing hand to the back of your neck. He began threading his fingers through your hair, as if he knew extra affection would help ground you for the next question. “What is the best way for us to provide you with what you need?”
“To me, t-wording is another form of physical affection. I need that physical touch. I know I've already said this, but it’s like needing a hug. If I’m not getting t-worded, I feel touch-starved. You’re probably saying to yourself, ‘Y/N, how can you feel touch-starved if you’re receiving hugs and kisses and hand holds?’ Imagine I just stopped kissing you. That would probably make you feel confused and make you feel unwanted. That’s kind of how it feels to me. So, I guess… I guess I just need you guys to keep t-wording me from time to time. But, I don’t want you to feel like it’s a chore.”
“Baby, we don’t see it that way at all,” Namjoon corrected. “What if you told us that you felt like you needed to be kissed more, or hugged more? What if you asked us to take you out on dates more? Those aren’t chores, those are things people utilize in relationships to show love and to experience love. Wanting to be tickled by us, asking for tickles—however you want to say it—is no different than needing a hug, a kiss, sex, or whatever it might be to feel loved and to connect with someone. You reiterated that when we asked you what we can do to provide you with what you need.”
“Okay,” you mumbled.
“Well, we’ll definitely be tickling you more than time to time, baby girl,” Jimin teased.
“Yes please,” you agreed, albeit timidly. “It makes me feel loved. It makes me feel like the person wants to touch me and be playful with me.”
“I get that,” Yoongi chimed in. “It’s like it’s reassuring to you that this person wants to connect with you and see you happy.”
“Exactly, Yoongs. And I don’t know, to me it just feels good. It helps me clear my mind; I can just focus on that feeling and that feeling only. I can laugh and experience genuine happiness. It’s like I'm giving you guys the control. Sometimes I don’t want control, because that means I don’t have to worry about anything else; I don’t have to worry about certain responsibilities or things that are bothering me for a period of time. When I give you guys the control, I feel safe. I feel cared for. I feel like I’m allowed to feel true happiness and I’m allowed to let go.”
“That’s so sweet, baby girl,” Jimin said sincerely. “I really, really, love that for you. I want to continue doing that for you. We all do.”
“What else do you like, baby?” Taehyung questioned. “What can we do more of?”
“I love when you guys hug me and when I least expect it, trap me against you and t-word my sides. I love when you scoop me up and kiss my face and neck all over until I’m a laughing mess. I love when you walk past me and casually tase my ribs. I love when you massage my shoulders and the back of my neck in a certain way that makes me scrunch up. I love when you lightly t-word my stomach when I’m sad or grumpy to cheer me up. I love how you find every opportunity to t-word my armpits when my arms are raised. I love the soft t-words and the rough ones. I love the surprise ones, and I love the ones that you build up to.”
As you described those moments, the boys’ faces grew softer as they imagined all the times that they had shown you the type of affection and playful bond you needed without them even realizing it. They realized that each shy reaction to every tickle you received wasn’t solely from embarrassment—it was due to you wanting them to continue but never finding the courage to tell them. It made sense that you became extra mischievous at times, just to get them to retaliate and tickle you.
“What do you not like, baby?” Jin asked. “I want to make sure you’re always enjoying yourself and that we don’t risk making you uncomfortable.”
“When I say stop or no, I don’t mean it most of the time. So you can keep going. But I feel like it doesn’t hurt to check in once in a while if I ever use those words. It makes me feel good knowing you want to pause and make sure I’m able to breathe and that I’m having fun. But, I also feel like I need to come up with a word to show you that I seriously can’t take anymore.”
“How about we use our safewords, jagi?” Namjoon suggested. “When you say ‘red’ everything stops. Or, if you say ‘yellow,’ we’ll know that we need to slow down or something needs to change.”
“Sounds good, Joon,” you agreed, hiding a smile from behind your knees.
“What else, baby?”
“Mmm… If we’re around my family, don’t say that word, ever. Don’t even mention it. And honestly, around my friends, too. I’ll feel utterly humiliated. I think it goes into me freezing up when I hear it out loud. But I think it also has to do with the fact that t-wording is such an intimate thing for me. It’s like telling your family member about your sex life. Obviously it’s not the same thing, but that’s the best thing I can compare it to. Does that make sense?”
“It makes perfect sense, baby,” Namjoon replied. “We’ll remember not to do that.”
The boys hummed in agreement. After that, it was quiet. You bit the inside of your cheek, not knowing what to say to fill the silence.
“Is there anything else we should know, jagiya?” Yoongi asked, saving you from further embarrassment. Talking about it was scary as is, but sitting quietly knowing that they were mulling the topic over in their heads was just as terrifying.
“I think that just about covers it,” you breathed out, stretching your legs. “You already found out a good chunk of it the other day. If I remember more, I’ll tell you guys. Talk amongst yourselves if you must. Just know that it's not going to be easy for me to ask. I don’t think I’ll ever get over the shyness or completely free myself from the embarrassment no matter how much reassurance you give me.”
“I’m sure we’ll learn more naturally,” Namjoon posited. “I think a lot of your habits make sense now, and I’m certain we’ll pick up on signs and signals that will let us know what you need. And even if the shyness never goes away, we’ll never stop reminding you that this isn’t disturbing or weird to us. Plus, it’s cute watching you ask us in your own way.”
You nodded, smiling sheepishly and bringing your knees back up to your chest.
“We’re so proud of you, love,” Jimin said softly, not wanting to intimidate you even though the sit-down was coming to a close. “You did so well, baby.”
“I know you were so scared baby, but I’m so glad that you opened up,” Namjoon praised, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder. “You articulated yourself very well, so I think it helped us all understand it better, wouldn’t you think?” He beckoned for the boys’ responses.
“Absolutely,” Hobi hummed, speaking for everyone.
“This doesn’t change our opinion on you, darling,” Jin chimed in. “If anything, I think it makes us more fond of you.”
“Really?” You squeaked.
“Really,” Hobi agreed. “You have no idea.”
“Hyung, can we tell her?” Taehyung asked, eyes wide as he looked to Namjoon for permission.
“Tell me what?” You questioned, heart beginning to race as a weary look painted Namjoon’s face. You braced for impact when he gestured for Taehyung to talk.
“We didn’t know if we should tell you this,” Taehyung said carefully. “Because we didn’t want you to think we’re having discussions about our relationship without you, but we felt that what had happened was a big deal and a significant—how do I say this—incident, in our relationship. We all had our own talk that night after Jimin talked to you… after you had dinner and went to sleep. But I think you need the reassurance.”
“What?”
“After you went to sleep, we thought we should discuss what had happened further,” Namjoon explained. “When you were distancing yourself from us, we were afraid that you were thinking that you didn’t want to be with us anymore. We wondered if you weren’t interested in us anymore, that you didn’t love us. The thought of losing you terrified us.
“That fear was a reality check. We knew we had to be completely open with each other and share our honest opinions about how we felt about you having such a strong connection with tickling. It was clear that it was a big part of you, thus it was also clear that it would become a big aspect of our relationship. We knew that if it was going to be a problem for any of us, then that person would have to leave. Because you know why, baby? We all agreed that you’re more important than any of us. This relationship is nothing without you. Us guys would rather lose each other than lose you.”
“You guys—please—I’m not that important—” You argued, perplexed at their thought process.
“No, baby, you are,” Namjoon interjected, practically pleading.
“B-but you’ve got a whole history book worth of memories a-and experiences with each other before I came along. You guys have been together for like, forever, I’m not—”
“Baby, please,” Jungkook whined. The tremble in his voice made you stop in your tracks. “You’re our everything. Hearing you cry that night and not knowing why broke us. You have no idea how relieving it was finally getting any answer, and discovering that it wasn’t that big of a deal. That sounds wrong—I know—but what I mean is that we were relieved to know that it wasn’t something worse, like you wanting to leave us. To find out that you were just scared to tell us something so cute about yourself was the best feeling in the world.”
“Wanting to be tickled is a huge part of you,” Namjoon repeated, rubbing your shoulder. “We wouldn’t want you to suppress that need just to make us comfortable. We find this part of you to be so endearing, truly.”
“It makes us happy that you want to be playful with us,” Taehyung grinned.
“We love watching you wiggle around like an adorable little worm when we tickle you,” Hobi laughed, moving his body in a way that imitated the way you squirm.
“It’s reassuring to us that we have a way that’s guaranteed to cheer you up if things like hugs or jokes don’t work,” Jimin added. “Knowing that your smiles and laughs are genuine—and aren’t forced just because it’s an instinctive reaction—makes it even better.”
“We love hearing how you laugh,” Jungkook giggled with a hint of mischief in his eyes. “There’s a certain laugh we get from you when we tickle you. We rarely hear it in other situations so it just makes us want to tickle you even more.”
“It makes us feel good that you trust us enough to be under our control,” Yoongi said. “It shows us that we make you feel safe, which is all we could ever want.”
“Going off of Jeongukkie and Yoongi-ah,” Jin chimed in, “We get to see a new, vulnerable side of you when we tickle you. You can get pretty shy and reserved, darling, but tickling you allows you to let loose. Even though you get pretty shy when you’re tickled, somehow it feels like you become more expressive. It’s really heart-warming to see. It reassures us that we give you the space to feel at your most comfortable.”
“See baby?” Namjoon smiled. “You don’t have to feel ashamed—not around us. We love this part of you. We want to make sure we’re trying our absolute hardest at making sure you feel loved and accepted. Whatever you need from us, baby, we’re here for you. We’ll tickle you every single day if it means our girl is happy.”
As each of them spoke, your eyes had filled with fresh tears. With Namjoon’s last remark, the dam burst from your eyes. You threw yourself onto Namjoon and began sobbing into his shoulder. He caught you as if he had been expecting you, wrapping his strong arms around your middle tightly.
“I love you so much,” you cried. “All of you.” Your shoulders shook as you wailed, the volume slightly muffled by the fabric of his shirt. The conversation was done, and you were overwhelmed with relief. The boys had provided you with all of the reassurance you needed to ease all the anxiety you had kept bottled inside of you. Even though last week had gone so right, you still feared that the deeper conversation would have gone so wrong. You didn’t know how you had gotten so lucky.
“I spent so long h-hiding this,” you whimpered.
“Oh, baby, I know,” Jimin sympathized, running a comforting hand over your head.
“I-I never thought I would find anyone who I could tell this to and who would accept me for it.”
Jungkook stood up from the floor and hugged you from behind, maneuvering his head into the side of your neck that wasn’t squished against Namjoon.
“We’re so glad we can be your safe space, baby,” Jungkook said, voice slightly strained as he squeezed you. “You can tell us anything. We’ll always be here for you.”
Your tears slowed as you focused on Namjoon and Jungkook sandwiching you in a hug, combined with the feeling of Jimin’s fingers in your hair.
Upon feeling you loosen your grip on Namjoon, Jungkook leaned off of you.
“Do you feel better?” Namjoon asked as he thumbed your face dry.
“Loads.”
“Good,” Hobi said, getting up from the couch with Jin following suit. “No more tears today, okay?” He was only teasing, but there was some truth behind it.
“They were happy tears,” you whined, but not without a smile peeking out.
“Regardless, we don’t like to see our baby girl crying, now do we?” Jin teased.
“Fine, I’ll just never cry again,” you said, playing along with sarcasm. You turned in Namjoon’s lap to face Jin, crossing your arms and to add onto your stubborn charade.
“Well, if you do, I’ll just have to do this,” Jungkook took your face in his hands and pressed several kisses to your face. Each kiss was followed by a whooshing sound as Jungkook mimicked a vacuum sucking up your hypothetical tears.
You half-heartedly tried shaking Jungkook away, but you were weakened by hysterical giggles. Then, unexpectedly, Jungkook’s lips were leaving rapid kisses under your jaw. You squealed, collapsing onto Namjoon as you tried curling away from Jungkook’s mini tickle attack. But, there wasn’t much you could do, as you sandwiched between them once more and Namjoon somehow found a way to slip his hands into your armpits.
“You’re gonna kill her,” Yoongi deadpanned, as your squeals turned into shrieks. But, a fond smile quickly formed on his face as his shoulders shook in amusement. Namjoon eased his attack, but Jungkook didn’t end the barrage of tickly pecks until you slipped off the couch, landing with a soft thump as you tried to catch your breath.
“Sorry, baby girl.” Jungkook threw his head back, falling victim to his own giggles. You could only giggle in reply, feeling flushed.
“Come here, baby,” Jimin laughed, standing up from the couch to help you off the floor. You grasped them gratefully, grunting as you combined your strengths to lift you up.
“Do you wanna play League of Legends, Y/N?” Taehyung asked, giving your bum a playful pat when your feet were steady on the floor. “Jin hyung and Jeongukkie and I planned on it earlier.”
“I’d love to,” you grinned.
“Awesome!” Taehyung pecked your lips and bounded out of the room, with Jungkook and Jin following close behind.
“I’ll watch,” Hobi said, and Yoongi nodded, most likely to do the same.
“I’d watch your back,” Jimin said mysteriously. “They might tickle you if you do better than them.”
“Shut uhuhup,” you tittered before he disappeared into the hallway, cackling like a hyena.
“Do you regret telling us now?” Namjoon joked, sneaking his hand into yours as you walked out of the room together.
“Not one bit.” You beamed, swinging your arms. Your lee mood was already returning, and you almost wanted to distract the boys from the game just to get a taste of revenge tickles.
Rather than the nervous jitters from before, you now felt giddy with profound excitement. You felt as though you had opened up a new realm of possibilities and experiences with your boyfriends; it was almost as if you were in the honeymoon phase again—learning new things about each other and getting butterflies over the littlest things. You had believed that opening up to the boys about this side of you would ruin what you had and make them want to run away. Now, you were convinced that this part of you only made your relationship stronger and your bond closer. Furthermore, you could love each other more than you thought was possible.
So, this fic was written unexpectedly, but i am happy with how it turned out!!!🩷✨☁️ as always excited to share another tickle fic on my blog, and i hope you’re gonna like it🥰🫶🏻💐🪶 enjoy🤗🩷
Genre: tickle fic
Yoongi was sitting on the sofa, softly playing a guitar and humming a song. A soft, genuine smile was plastered across his face. He looked entirely at peace. Hoseok walked in from the kitchen carrying two iced Americanos.
He stopped in his tracks, just watching his friend. Yoongi had been radiating this pure happiness for days now, and Hoseok found it absolutely endearing. It made him want to burst with affection.
He walked over, setting coffee on the table, and flopped down right next to Yoongi. "Okay, spill," Hoseok said, a huge grin spreading across his own face. "What is making you smile like that? You’ve been in the best mood lately." Yoongi looked at Hoseok, and left guitar next to the sofa. "Nothing specific. Just... things are good. I feel really happy."
"I love it," Hoseok said softly, leaning his shoulder against Yoongi's. "You look so cute when you're this relaxed. It's dangerous, Yoongi. It makes me want to tease you." Yoongi scoffed playfully, though his eyes darted suspiciously to Hoseok's hands. "Don't you dare. I'm enjoying my peaceful afternoon."
"Oh, really?" Hoseok's voice dropped into a whisper. "But you look so fluffy right now.” Before Yoongi could move away, Hoseok pounced, his fingers diving straight into Yoongi’s ribs. "Ah! Hoseok, no!" Yoongi gasped, and a laugh burst out of him. Hoseok switched his attack on the sides.
“Hahhahaa! Stop, stop, ahahaha!" Yoongi shrieked, his legs curling up toward his chest as he tried to shield his sides. Hoseok only laughed, his heart melting at the sound of Yoongi's laugh. He didn't let up for a second. Instead, he leaned over Yoongi, trapping him against the sofa while his fingers danced expertly again along Yoongi's ribs.
"Stop? Why would I stop?" Hoseok teased, his voice full of playful energy. "Look at you! I can tickle you whole day.” Yoongi laughed more at the comment, his face turning bright pink as he was squirming because of tickles he was receiving. “Pleahahhahhaseehah!”
Hoseok switched to light scratching motion right under his arms."You're just too endearing lately, hyung," Hoseok cooed playfully. "I see that cute smile, and my hands just move on their own. It’s your fault for being so soft!"
"I'm not ahaha! I can’t hahahhahaha!" Yoongi gasped, now squirming wildly beneath his friend. He tried to grab Hoseok’s wrists, but he was laughing far too hard to find any real strength. Hoseok gave one final scribble right against Yoongi's tummy, making the older boy let out a loud squeak, before finally pulling his hands back. Yoongi collapsed against the sofa, panting with a wide smile still plastered on his face.
Yoongi lay on the sofa for a moment, as he took in deep breaths. His face was still flushed pink. Hoseok sat back, looking thoroughly pleased with himself, a proud grin on his face. "See? Didn't that feel good? You look even happier now."
"You... are unbelievable," He slowly sat up, rubbing his ribs, but the soft smile never left his face. He kept his eyes locked on Hoseok, watching him let his guard down. Hoseok just laughed, completely off-guard as he reached over to grab his iced Americano.
"Actually-"Before Hoseok could even touch his coffee, Yoongi lunged forward. With surprising speed, Yoongi threw his arms around Hoseok’s waist, pulling him flat onto the sofa, and dug his fingers right into Hoseok's sensitive underarms."AH! Nohahhhahaha!" Hoseok shrieked. His whole body jerked, nearly flipping off the couch as he tried to protect himself from tickling. It was driving him mad.
"Oh, what's wrong, Hoba?" Yoongi teased, happy to get his sweet revenge. He didn't let up, switching his fingers from Hoseok's underarms down to his ribs, using a kneading motion. "You had a lot to say a minute ago."
"Ahahaha! Stop! Plehahahhaase, omg, hyung!" Hoseok screamed, thrashing wildly. He was incredibly ticklish, and within three seconds, he was laughing so hard he could barely form words, his legs kicking out frantically. "Look at you," Yoongi chuckled, shifting his target to Hoseok’s stomach, making the younger boy curl towards him.
"You're ten times more ticklish than me. One touch and you completely fall apart." Yoongi was being mean. "I'm -ahaha-not! It's not- hahahahah-fair!" Hoseok wheezed, tears pricking the corners of his eyes as he squeezed his arms tightly against his sides to block the attack. "It's completely fair," Yoongi said playfully, giving one last scribble right against Hoseok's hip bones.
Hoseok immediately collapsed sideways, burying his face in a couch cushion while his shoulders shook with lingering giggles. Yoongi slumped right next to him, dropping his head back against the sofa cushions with a satisfied sigh. For a few moments, the living room was filled only with the sound of their breathing and quiet snickers.
"You... are absolutely terrifying," Hoseok wheezed into the cushion, his voice muffled. He rolled onto his back, wiping a stray tear from his eye, his bright smile stretching across his face."You brought it on yourself," Yoongi said softly. He turned his head to look at Hoseok. "But thanks. I needed a good laugh."
Hoseok bumped his shoulder against Yoongi's, completely satisfied. "Anytime, hyung. Just keep smiling like that."
